Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to determine the planning, implementation and results of improving German vocabulary through Edpuzzle application. This research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. This research data consists of two types of data, namely qualitative data which is a description of the results of implementation and observation during learning and quantitative data in the form of student vocabulary mastery test results. The average value of vocabulary improvement of X MIPA 7 students in cycle I was 68.84% then in cycle II it increased to 86.08%. The results showed that the use of Edpuzzle application can improve students' mastery of German vocabulary during learning.Keywords: Vocabulary, Media, German

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to find out the problem of writing simple essays in German for class XI student of SMA Negeri 1 Takalar. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The source of the research data was class XI student of SMA Negeri 1 Takalar with a sample of 50 students. The research data is in the form of a questionnaire. The result of this study indicate that the students problem in writing simple essays in German are lack of vocabulary mastery, lack of understanding of verb conjugations, lack of ideas, lack of confidence, lack of facilities and infrastructure and not mastery of German grammar.Keywords: Problematic, Writing, Essay

Abstract

Abstract. This research is descriptive qualitative research. This research aims to describe the value of character education contained in the three German fables in the collection of Brüder Grimm tales and their relevance in learning German at school. Data sources of this research were primary and secondary data. Data collecting, the researcher used reading and note-taking technique. The data obtained were then analyzed using the analysis of the Miles and Huberman model. The findings show that the values of character education contained in these three fables are obedient, committed, not easy to give up, loving each other, cooperation, brave, not greedy, creative, helping, hardworking, caring for others, loyal, and empathy. These values are relevant to the value of character education to be realized in the cultural and character education of the Indonesian nation, so that the three fables can be one of the choices of teaching materials in learning German in schools.Keywords: Fabel, Brüder Grimm, Character Education

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to the determine the planning, implementation, and the result of the German vocabulary mastery through the uno card of class XII MIPA 6 students of SMAN 3 Makassar. This research is a classroom action study consisting of two cycles each of which contains the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data of this study contains two types of data, qualitative data that is a description of the implementation results and observation results while quantitative data in the form of German language vocabulary test results. The results of research data show that the mastery of German vocabulary in cycle 1 has an average value of 55.25 and in cycle 2 has an average of 82.25. Abstract

Abstract. This research is a classroom action research which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The purpose of this study was to improve the listening skills of class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 3 Sinjai. The data in this study consists of two types, namely: quantitative data and qualitative data. Qualitative data were obtained through observation and quantitative data obtained through the results of the listening ability test cycle I and cycle II. The results of the data analysis showed that the value of listening skills obtained by students in the first cycle was 67.3% while in the second cycle it was 86.53%. These results indicate that the use of German animated video media can improve the listening skills of class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 3 Sinjai.Keywords: Listening Skills, Animated Videos, Classroom Action Research

Abstract

Abstract. This research is a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach, this study aims to determine the forms of mistakes in using German conjunctions and the factors that influence students' mistakes in using German conjunctions. Subject in this research were 19 XII language students at MAN 1 Palu city, and object in this study was a collection of data on errors in German conjunction use and the factors that drive errors in conjunction use. The research method in this study is the listening method with an advanced technique, namely the note-taking technique using the analytical step of Tarigan (2011:16). Based on the results of data analysis from tests and distributed questionnaires, 23 mistakes in using conjunctions were identified by the students, and the types of mistakes were classified into 4 types of mistakes, which divided the factors that caused students to make mistakes in using German conjunctions into internal factors and external factors with 4 students writing down factors with the difficult to understand German conjunctions being the largest factor.  Keywords: Error Analysis Of Conjunction Usage, Analysis Results, Error Factors

Abstract

Abstract. This research is quantitative descriptive research. This research aims to obtain data and information about the ability to read aloud and the factors that affect the ability to read aloud German texts for 11th Grade Students of SMA Negeri 15 Makassar. Research instruments, in the form of tests and questionnaires, are used to collect data. The tests are divided into reading tests and multiple-choice questions. Furthermore, the collected data are analyzed by making lists of raw scores, making frequency distributions, creating classification tables, looking for the percentage of students' abilities, and then finding out the average score of students. The result of this research indicates that the ability to read aloud German texts for 11th Grade Students of SMA Negeri 15 Makassar is at an average score of 51.93 and is in the poor category because it does not meet the set score criteria of greater than or equal to 75. The most influential factor in students' ability to read aloud is the teacher’s teaching method.Keywords: Reading Ability, Reading Aloud, German Language

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to improve the German vocabulary of students of class XI IPS 4 SMA Negeri 14 Makassar through Nicos Weg video. This research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. This research data consists of two types of data, namely qualitative data which is a description of the results of implementation and observation during the learning process and quantitative data in the form of students vocabulary improvement test results. The average vocabulary score obtained by the students in Cycle I was 53.16 and in Cycle II the average value obtained by the students was 67.5. Abstract

Abstract. Falling This study aims to determine the level of reading comprehension ability of German dialog text of students in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 4 Maros. The research used quantitative descriptive method. Written texts were used for data collection. The text consists of multiple choice and true and false tests. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using percentage technique. The population in this study was XI MIPA class students at SMA Negeri 4 Maros consisting of 5 classes with 160 students. The samples of this study were students of class XI MIPA 3 as many as 31 students who were selected using random sampling. The result of this study showed that the ability to read comprehend German dialog text of students of class XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 4 Maros was in the good category.Keywords: Skill, Reading Comprehension, Dialog Text

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to obtain data and information about the types of errors made in the formation of imperative sentences by students of SMA Negeri 8 Gowa. This type of research is a qualitative method which is interpretative-analytical. The data for this research is a corpus of data on the use of imperative clauses through questions asked by students. The data source for this research is the students of class XI IPS 4 SMA Negeri 8 Gowa, a total of 39 students. The results of the data analysis show that most of the errors made by the students in the imperative sentence are in the you-form with 103 errors or a percentage of 33.5%, in the you-form with 98 errors or a percentage of 33.8% and in the you-form with 89 errors or a percentage of 30.7%. In addition, the overall average score for errors in the use of imperative sentences made by students in class XI IPS 4 SMA Negeri 8 Gowa is 48.3%, which is in the high category.Keywords: Error analysis, imperative, sentence formation, German
