Abstract

The phenomenon of modern multicultural societies and diversity of identities often leads to social fragmentation. This paper emphasizes the role of religion as a mediator of social integration, a provider of shared values, and a symbolic space that unites society. This research was conducted using a reflective qualitative approach through literature study and theoretical analysis of the sociology of religion. Data collection techniques involved documentation, specifically the review of academic works, journal articles, and key books in the field of religious sociology relevant to the topics of social integration and religiosity. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques employed thematic content analysis, focusing on the interpretation of meaning, values, and the social functions of religious practices within the context of a multicultural society. The results of the analysis show that open and impactful religious practices can be a middle ground in dealing with the complexity of a fragmented society. This article recommends strengthening inclusive religiosity through education, social policies, and interfaith forums in order to build sustainable social cohesion.

Abstract

This research aimed to (1) analyze and describe the implementation of Google Site as a school administration system, and (2) identify the supporting and inhibiting factors of its implementation at UPT SMP Negeri 3 Baebunta. The background of this study is the need for the transformation of school administration from a manual and fragmented system to an integrated digital system to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation with the school principal, vice principal for curriculum, head of administration, school operator, and P5 coordinator. The research findings indicate that the implementation of Google Site successfully designed a centralized and integrated digital administration platform, serving as a "one-stop portal" that integrates various Google Workspace services. This platform addresses the school's real needs for centralizing teaching materials, archiving personnel data, standardizing data collection workflows, and publishing the P5 flagship program. The main supporting factors for its success were (a) full support from leadership legitimized by official policy, (b) the availability of adequate infrastructure, (c) the potential of human resources with the presence of early adopters, and (d) a real, felt need from stakeholders. The primary inhibiting factors were non-technical, namely (a) psychological resistance to change from some senior teachers, and (b) the challenge of maintaining long-term user motivation. It is concluded that the implementation of Google Site has successfully transformed the school administration system. This success was driven by a synergy of strong supporting factors, while the main human-centric challenges can be overcome through continuous support via the school's Learning Community (Kombel)

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of school culture-based character education through a multi-site study at SMA IT Darul Istiqamah Maros and SMAS Buq’atun Mubarakah Makassar. The focus of this research includes the primary character values being developed, the strategies for implementation, and the challenges encountered. This research utilizes a qualitative approach with a multi-site study design. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study included school principals, teachers, and students. The results of the study show that both schools focus on developing the character values of being religious, disciplined, independent, and responsible. Implementation strategies are dominated by the instillation of theory, modeling, and structured routine habituation. These strategies are proven effective in shaping student character; however, the implementation faces internal challenges such as the diversity of student backgrounds and the commitment of teachers , as well as external challenges including the influence of outside culture, particularly from gadgets, and a lack of consistent support from parents. This study concludes that the effectiveness of character education is highly dependent on the synergy of internal strategies and the ability to mitigate external challenges.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for alternative approaches in resolving minor criminal cases involving perpetrators of aggravated theft, considering restorative justice as a means of achieving social recovery and participatory justice. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study type, employing data collection techniques such as interviews, documentation, and literature study. The results show that the implementation of restorative justice for perpetrators of aggravated theft at the District Attorney's Office of OKU Timur, based on Determination No. R-1/L.6.21/Eoh.2/03/2025, provides an effective and humane solution to resolve minor criminal cases by prioritizing the principles of restorative justice. This process successfully facilitated reconciliation between the perpetrator and the victim, met the victim's needs, fostered the perpetrator's sense of responsibility, and restored social relationships within the community. The inhibiting factors in implementing restorative justice include legal constraints, victim resistance, the perpetrator's lack of understanding, limited resources, and minimal community support. These obstacles indicate the need to strengthen the institutional capacity of the prosecutor's office, expand public legal education, and build more effective collaboration with other law enforcement agencies.

Abstract

This research is titled "Development of the World of Moslem Program for the Youth Segment (A Case Study at Muslim TV MNC Channels)," motivated by the challenges of digital media in attracting the attention of young generations to religious content. This thesis aims to analyze youth perception of the "World of Moslem" program and formulate development strategies relevant to their needs and preferences, while simultaneously addressing the dynamics of digital transformation in the media industry. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach that combines quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews and observations, this study explores the stages of audience research, concept development, production, and program evaluation. Key findings indicate that although "World of Moslem" successfully maintained ratings in the 50-and-above age segment, the program was less effective in reaching youth audiences due to its conventional presentation format and lack of dynamic visual elements and interactivity favored by Generation Z. Therefore, this thesis recommends strategic innovations, including adjustments to the presentation style, visuals, communication, and themes to be more relatable for young viewers, as well as exploring collaborations with local vloggers and updating content based on viral trends. Technical and cultural challenges, along with competition from digital media, are also discussed as crucial factors for the future success of program development.

Abstract

Pre-project selling is a method of selling property before the physical development is completed or even started. In Bandar Lampung, such practices have raised public and legal concerns due to their harmful impact on consumers. A notable case involved the developer PT. GSP, reported to authorities by dozens of buyers in 2023. This study examines the application of Article 378 of the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP) concerning fraud in pre-project housing sales and the challenges encountered in its enforcement. Using a normative and empirical juridical approach with both primary and secondary data, the study found that applying Article 378 is legally feasible, especially when fraudulent intent can be proven from the outlet. Elements such as deception, false information, and manipulative tactics align with the legal definition of fraud. However, significant obstacles exist, including difficulties in proving men's rea (criminal intent), the absence of clear regulations governing pre-project selling, legal uncertainty, and weak inter-agency coordination among local governments, notaries, licensing offices, and law enforcement. Strengthening cooperation among these stakeholders is essential to prevent similar crimes and ensure legal protection for consumers.

Abstract

This research uses a design-based approach aimed at exploring the critical thinking skills of university students through an advanced linear algebra project. The subjects involved are 32 students enrolled in the Advanced Linear Algebra course during the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. To support the research, the instruments used include a critical thinking skills instrument, Hypothetical Learning Trajectory, Local Instruction Theory, Learning Activity Observation Based on Video, and a Google Drive-Based Portfolio. The data analysis technique involves several stages, starting with data condensation (transcription, coding, categorization, and theme identification), data presentation (process analysis, matrix, iterative processes, and conclusion drawing and verification), and data validity checking (triangulation and generalizability of research results). Based on the research findings, students' critical thinking skills are determined by reviewing five components: interpretation, analysis, evaluation, argumentation, and self-regulation. The harmonization and synchronization across various activities are still in the moderately developed category, indicating the need for dynamic and interactive activities to support proficiency fulfillment.
