Abstract

The Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) policy in the United States presents both opportunities and challenges for Indonesia’s Crude Palm Oil (CPO) exports. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the value of Indonesia’s CPO exports to the United States during the period 2005–2023, focusing on Malaysia’s export volume, Indonesia’s CPO production, and international CPO prices. A quantitative method with time series data was employed and analyzed through multiple linear regression using EViews 13. The results show that Malaysia’s CPO export volume has a negative and significant effect on Indonesia’s export value, indicating direct market competition. In contrast, Indonesia’s CPO production has a positive and significant effect, underscoring the importance of domestic capacity in supporting export performance. International CPO prices also have a positive and significant effect, meaning that rising global prices can increase export value. Overall, the findings confirm that beyond demand and supply dynamics, competition with Malaysia and compliance with the RFS standard are crucial determinants of export performance. This study recommends strengthening sustainability certification (ISPO), enhancing trade diplomacy, and stabilizing production to improve competitiveness in the U.S. market.

Abstract

This study examines the role of social media influencers in increasing consumer engagement and purchasing decisions for skincare products. The analysis results show that consumer engagement has a significant effect on purchasing decisions (coefficient = 0.426, p = 0.001), confirming consumer engagement as a key factor in purchasing behavior. The influencer credibility variable has the strongest influence on consumer engagement (coefficient = 0.537, p < 0.001) and purchasing decisions (coefficient = 0.254, p = 0.020), while influencer attractiveness has a positive but weaker and marginal influence on engagement (coefficient = 0.195, p = 0.060) and contributes directly to purchasing decisions. Effect size analysis (f-square) confirms the dominance of credibility as the main factor in forming engagement and purchasing decisions. In addition, consumer engagement significantly mediates the influence of attractiveness and credibility on purchasing decisions, with a more dominant mediating role coming from credibility. These findings provide a theoretical contribution by confirming the mediating mechanism of engagement in the relationship between influencer attributes and purchasing decisions, while providing practical implications for digital marketing strategies for skincare products.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of transformational leadership, phenomenological learning, and digital culture in shaping the successful adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within Indonesian organizations. Using a quantitative survey design, data were collected from 412 respondents across the service and manufacturing sectors. Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was employed to test the hypothesized relationships. The findings reveal that transformational leadership significantly enhances phenomenological learning, which in turn positively influences AI adoption. Moreover, phenomenological learning mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and AI adoption, while digital culture strengthens the link between leadership and learning. These results highlight the importance of integrating phenomenological learning as a reflective and human-centered process in organizational digital transformation. The study contributes to theory by extending Phenomenological Learning Theory into technology adoption research and underscores the moderating role of digital culture in shaping organizational readiness. Practically, the findings suggest that leaders should foster reflective learning environments and cultivate adaptive digital cultures to accelerate inclusive and sustainable AI adoption.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that has a serious impact on the quality of human resources (HR) and long-term economic growth. Mesuji Regency is one of the areas with a relatively high stunting prevalence rate in Lampung Province. This study aims to analyze the role of the Office of Population Control and Family Planning (PPKB) in the implementation of stunting prevention policies in Mesuji Regency, evaluate its implementation, and identify program success indicators. The research method used is qualitative with a policy evaluation approach using the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The results show that the PPKB Office has a strategic role as a cross-sector coordinator in the Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team (TPPS), an implementer of educational programs such as Bina Keluarga Balita (BKB), and regional innovations such as the Community Movement Against Stunting (GEBERMAS). Evaluation of the implementation indicated good achievements in the context and input aspects, marked by regulatory support, leadership commitment, and adequate budget allocation. However, challenges remain, including limited human resources, unequal basic facilities, and suboptimal coordination among government agencies. The decrease in the number of stunted children from 1,456 in 2022 to 1,083 in 2023 demonstrates the positive impact of the implemented policies. Strengthening cross-sector coordination, improving the availability of supporting facilities, and increasing community participation and awareness are essential to ensure the sustainability of stunting prevention programs.
