Abstract

This study aims to analyze the promotional strategies implemented by Fatih Hidroponik to increase sales of hydroponic vegetable products in an increasingly competitive market. Fatih Hidroponik, a modern agriculture-based creative economy business in Banjarmasin City and Barito Kuala Regency, relies on hydroponic cultivation methods to produce fresh, pesticide-free, and environmentally friendly vegetables. However, despite its superior quality, the main challenge is marketing it to gain wider public awareness. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach, collecting data through consumer interviews and observing Fatih Hidroponik's promotional practices. The results indicate that the promotional strategy prioritizes digital promotion through social media (Instagram and WhatsApp) and direct customer engagement. Although effective in increasing product awareness, some consumers suggested increasing the variety of promotional content. Recommendations made in this study include optimizing the use of paid advertising on social media, increasing the variety of promotional content, and collaborating with local influencers to increase product exposure. This research is expected to provide insights and guidance for Fatih Hidroponik and similar businesses in designing more effective promotional strategies to increase sales and competitiveness in the market.

Abstract

The present research examines the impact of various social media marketing features, including interactivity, entertainment, perceived relevance, and informativeness, on consumer purchasing decisions in the educational service sector. The present study is anchored in the theoretical framework of consumer behaviour theory. A quantitative research design was employed, utilising a structured questionnaire administered to 100 high school students who actively utilise social media and have participated in educational programmes at the Brain Academy Centre in Semarang. Multiple linear regression analysis was performed using SPSS software. The findings suggest that perceived relevance (β = 0.220, p = 0.027) and informativeness (β = 0.280, p = 0.001) exert a statistically significant positive influence on purchase decisions, accounting for 44.6% of the variance (R² = 0.446). Conversely, interactivity and entertainment did not demonstrate significant effects. These findings contribute to the extant literature on social media marketing for intangible services and emphasise the practical importance of aligning content with consumers' informational needs. It is recommended that future research extend this analysis across a range of other social media platforms and demographic groups. This would allow for the validation and expansion of the insights derived from this analysis.

Abstract

In the increasingly competitive modern era, excessive working hours have become commonplace in various industrial sectors. However, the increase in working hours often has a negative impact on workers' health. This study aims to examine the effect of excessive working hours on workers' morbidity in Bengkulu. Using data from the National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS), this study uses the Instrumental Variable (IV) Probit analysis method to address the potential for endogeneity in the relationship between variables. The results show that excessive working hours have a positive and significant effect on the chance of increasing workers' morbidity by 9.7 percent. In addition, domicile factors, types of business fields and expenditures also contribute to the chance of morbidity status. This study emphasizes that excessive working hours have serious implications for workers' physical and mental health, so it is important to implement policies that support work-life balance and health promotion programs in the workplace.

Abstract

This study delves into the critical relationship between technostress, digital competence, and employee performance at PT Air Minum Bandarmasih (Perseroda), with job satisfaction as a key mediating variable. The primary objective is to address the gap in existing research by examining how these technological factors influence employee outcomes within the specific context of a state-owned water utility company. Using a quantitative approach with a sample of 146 staff-level employees, the study employs Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling and SEM-PLS analysis to build upon previous studies by providing a nuanced understanding of these dynamics. The findings offer a significant novelty by confirming the negative and significant impact of technostress on both job satisfaction and performance, while simultaneously highlighting the positive and significant effect of digital competence. Crucially, the research establishes the vital role of job satisfaction as a mediator, demonstrating that managing technological demands and enhancing digital skills are not just about efficiency but are foundational to fostering employee well-being and, consequently, improving overall performance in the digital era.

Abstract

An organization faces the challenge of creating engaged employees. Several factors that can foster employee engagement are leadership and work culture. At the Indonesian Music Museum, employee engagement needs to be explored, given that it is a non-profit organization whose operational costs and funding are self-funded. This study employed qualitative methods, with the head and staff of the Indonesian Music Museum as the research subjects. Data collection techniques included participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results provide an overview of the leadership style and organizational culture that influence employee engagement at the Indonesian Music Museum. The leadership style adopted by the head of the Indonesian Music Museum is democratic. This study explains that the two concepts of leadership and organizational culture complement each other. Effective leaders can shape and maintain a positive work culture, while a positive culture strengthens leadership effectiveness. The synergy between the two creates a work environment where employees feel motivated, valued, and have a sense of ownership, which is the core of employee engagement.

Abstract

Audit quality is an essential dimension of financial reporting credibility, particularly for public companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The credibility of financial statements is reinforced by reliable external audits that assure stakeholders of the accuracy and fairness of reported information. This study explores the impact of audit fee, audit delay, audit tenure, and audit rotation on audit quality within Consumer Non-Cyclicals sector companies over the period 2021–2023. The study applies a quantitative approach using secondary data from 41 IDX-listed companies with 123 firm-year observations. Audit quality is measured through the use of Big Four auditors, while explanatory variables include audit fees, audit delays, audit tenure, and audit rotation. Logistic regression is employed to test both individual and joint effects of the variables. Findings suggest that audit fees and audit delay significantly affect audit quality, while tenure and rotation show no significant influence. Collectively, all four variables jointly influence audit quality. These results provide theoretical contributions to agency theory and practical implications for regulators, auditors, and firms.

Abstract

The escalating environmental crisis has driven a shift in consumer behavior towards eco-friendly products. Brands may perceive openings in the market, yet contradictions across prior scholarly outputs indicate unresolved ambiguity regarding what directs purchasing choices. This investigation intends to dissect how ecological brand positioning, comprehension of such brands, and disposition toward them interact to form the intention to acquire Sensatia Botanicals’ green-labeled commodities. Information was secured from 300 selected participants through purposive criteria and assessed via LISREL. The observed empirical outcomes demonstrate that positioning, knowledge, and attitudinal alignment with green brands all exert statistically significant positive impacts on the intention to procure environmentally branded goods. These results imply that companies should add strategies to communicate eco-friendly products effectively and efficiently by using social media influencers and digital media advertising. The communication strategy needs to highlight product quality and ethical production to justify premium pricing. Increased accessibility is key by expanding distribution through retail stores and e-commerce platforms. Additionally, companies must proactively build confidence in product performance with evidence-based marketing and authentic reviews.
