Abstract

The use of a jigsaw type cooperative learning approach to increase the science learning scores of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Kalisari is the problem discussed in this research. The author teaches in class V at SD Negeri 2 Kalisari, students in this case have only reached 39%, based on the results of daily tests where the average score is 62. Even though the KKM chosen is 73, this shows that learning still needs to be improved. The jigsaw type cooperative learning methodology will be used to increase the scientific education value of class V students at SDN 2 Kalisari. He conducted a qualitative investigation of this problem using a research design with a class action perspective. Participants in this research were 18 class V students at SDN 2 Kalisari who were registered in the first semester of the 2023–2024 academic year, with a total of 11 boys and 7 girls. This shows how the jigsaw type cooperative learning paradigm has increased student learning scores in science. It has been proven that the jigsaw type cooperative learning model can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade science students cooperatively

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering and improving students' morals at MAN 3 Banyuwangi and the coaching approach used. The method used in this study is qualitative with in-depth interview techniques involving teachers, principals, and students. This study identifies the role of teachers as leaders, role models, facilitators, and motivators who contribute to fostering students' morals. The results of the interviews showed that the approaches applied include exemplary examples, advice, special attention, habituation, and punishment. These approaches have been applied consistently and effectively, and in accordance with existing theories about moral development. Teachers at MAN 3 Banyuwangi have succeeded in integrating theory and practice in the process of moral education by providing good examples, providing constructive advice, paying special attention to students, as well as getting used to good behavior and implementing educational punishments. All practices applied show consistency with the theory put forward about the role and methods of moral development. This study concludes that teachers' efforts in moral education at MAN 3 Banyuwangi are effective and have a positive impact on the formation of students' character. Suggestions for future research include deepening the study of the long-term impact of the coaching method and further evaluation of the implementation of the method in other contexts.

Abstract

Quality education is the goal of national education as enshrined in law. So improving the quality of education is very important. This research aims to determine efforts to improve the quality of education at MTs Al Amiriyah Blokagung through SWOT analysis. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and document study. The results of the research show that the efforts made to improve the quality of education at MTs Al-Amiriyah are: Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of madrasas, SO (strength, Opportunity) strategies Developing Islamic boarding school-based schools according to community needs by utilizing technology in the teaching and learning process, WO (Streght, Weakness) Utilize technology for institutional marketing, ST (Strength Trheath) increase the number of qualified graduates in the fields of religion and academics so that people believe in the quality of the institution, WT (Weakness, Threath) Improve the managerial abilities of school principals so that schools are able to face competition with other schools/ other madrasas.

Abstract

The role of teachers is very important in the world and has an influence on their students, so with that teachers are able to improve the morals of their students with the implementation of the Qur'an. This study aims to describe the role of teachers in improving the morals of class X students at Al Azhar Muncar Superior High School through the implementation of the Qur'an. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research method that the researcher uses a qualitative method of case study type with in-depth interviev data collection techniques, interviews, and observations. The results of the study show that teachers have a very important role in improving students' morals. These roles include: (1) as a model or role model, (2) as an advisor to learning the Qur'an, (3) motivator, and (4) evaluator. The implementation of the Qur'an in learning is not only limited to memorization, but also an understanding of its meaning and application in daily life. This research has implications for teachers, schools, and the development of Islamic religious education curriculum. This research aims to find out how the implementation of the Qur'an in learning can improve the morals of class X students at the Al Azhar Muncar Superior High School. The results of the study show that the effective implementation of the Qur'an can improve students' morals through various activities, such as tahfidz, tafsir, and muhadatsah. Teachers as teachers have a central role in creating a learning environment that is conducive to the internalization of Qur'an values. This study concludes that holistic learning of the Qur'an can be a solution in overcoming students' moral problems

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on increasing students' interest in learning PAI among grade XI-2 students at SMAN 1 Cluring. This is a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental design with a one-shot case study. The population of this study was all grade XI-2 students at SMAN 1 Cluring, totaling 36 students, and the sample was taken using Simple Random Sampling. A questionnaire was used as an instrument to measure students' learning interest, using Likert scale statements. The results of data analysis can be seen from the percentage of indicators of students' learning interest in PAI, namely: student interaction during learning (73%),student attention to PAI lessons (62%), students' enjoyment of PAI lessons (90%), students' interest in PAI lessons (64%),and students' involvement in learning (61%). This indicates that the CTL learning strategy has an influence on increasing students' interest in learning mathematics. Based on the t-test conducted, it was obtained that -ttable < tcount > + ttable, which is 2.028 < 35 > 2.028, meaning that there is a significant influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning strategy on increasing students' interest in learning PAI. From the research findings above, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on increasing students' interest in learning PAI among grade XI-2 students at SMAN 1 Cluring

Abstract

The history of Islamic culture is an important aspect for a Muslim to know how Islam can develop until now, and how students can understand the history of Islamic culture which is very much in a short time, namely by using the mind mapping learning method. This study aims to 1) test and analyze the effect of the mind mapping method on the learning outcomes of Islamic cultural history 2) to test and analyze the effect of motivation on the learning outcomes of Islamic cultural history 3) to test and analyze the effect of the mind mapping method of motivation simultaneously on the learning outcomes of Islamic cultural history. These three objectives were studied in class XI students of MAN 3 Banyuwangi. In this study, the researcher used a quantitative method and the results of this study were 1) the mind mapping method had an effect on the learning outcomes of Islamic cultural history 2) motivation affected the learning outcomes of Islamic cultural history 3) the mind mapping method of motivation simultaneously on the learning outcomes of Islamic cultural history

Abstract

The results of this research show that there are several strategies that PAI teachers can use to improve students' morals, including motivation strategies, namely by using video based learning, through advice or providing insight, and through examples from the stories of the prophets and apostles, in implementation strategies. namely by designing learning objectives according to the curriculum, through habits, and through examples from teachers, and evaluation strategies, namely by game based learning evaluation methods, by involving the role of parents, and by portfolio-based evaluation or by interviews or interview with one of the students so you can find out what progress the student has made. Very positive results were obtained from these programs, namely that students' morals or morals improved, so that students became more polite. This is in accordance with the results of interviews conducted with students. They always pray before class starts, pay attention to the teacher during class, picket, throw rubbish in their place, be kind to their peers, respect teachers both at school and outside school by saying hello and kissing hands, and always set an example of good behavior and not bad.

Abstract

This study describes the moral development program at SMP Islam Nurul Ulum, the approaches and steps used by Islamic Religious Education teachers, and the supporting and inhibiting factors in fostering students' morals. The method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The study results indicate that SMP Islam Nurul Ulum has a moral development program that includes relationships with Allah, fellow human beings, the environment, and oneself. The teacher's approach is carried out directly, such as providing personal guidance and advice, and indirectly through prevention and punishment. Supporting factors for moral development include student awareness, teacher role models, learning methods, and parental support and facilities. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include lack of Islamic Religious Education lessons, use of mobile phones, lack of communication, and the environment and background of students that do not support.

Abstract

The Tahfidzul Qur'an program in Indonesia is growing rapidly as an innovation in Islamic education that not only improves memorization of the Qur'an, but also forms the Qur'anic character of students. Islamic boarding schools have a strategic role in instilling the values of religiosity, discipline, responsibility, and hard work in order to face moral challenges in the modern era. This study aims to determine the effect of the Tahfidzul Qur'an program on the formation of the Qur'anic character of students at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Boarding School Bahrusysyifa' Lumajang. The research method used is quantitative with a population of 92 students. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, linearity, and hypothesis tests with SPSS 27. The results showed that the Tahfidzul Qur'an program had a significant effect on the formation of the Qur'anic character of students. Hypothesis testing with a simple linear regression test produced a Tcount value = 7,675 > Ttable = 2,632, so that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. The R value = 0.629 indicates a strong relationship between the two variables, while R² = 0.396 indicates that 39.6% of the variation in Qur'anic character is influenced by the Tahfidzul Qur'an program, while 60.4% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Learning strategies play a very important role in the implementation of ongoing learning. One of the learning strategies is active learning strategies. Active learning strategies have been applied by aqidah akhlak teachers in shaping students' characters. The formulation of the problem that has been prepared is how the aqidah akhlak learning strategy in shaping students' characters at MA Muhammadiyah 1 Jember. It aims to determine the aqidah akhlak learning strategy in shaping students' characters. A descriptive qualitative approach used in the study, data collection in this study through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The validity checking technique uses source triangulation techniques. The results of this study are that the learning strategy in shaping students' characters uses active learning strategies. The use of active learning strategies in students is more conducive and effective which is based on more enjoyable PAIKEM learning. Aqidah akhlak teachers at MAM 1 Jember in shaping students' characters apply routine habits, become role models, provide positive encouragement, a supportive environment, so that the implementation of these students becomes more honest, disciplined and trustworthy.
