Adapun scope dan focus pada jurnal ini adalah 1. Al Quran dan Hadis Sebagai sumber utama ajaran Islam, Al Quran dan Hadis menjadi fondasi dalam proses pendidikan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai tauhid, ibadah, dan akhlak mulia. 2. Pendidikan Karakter Akhlak, Moral, dan Etika Pendidikan Agama Islam menitikberatkan pembentukan karakter yang berbudi pekerti luhur berdasarkan nilai-nilai Islam seperti kejujuran, kesabaran, dan kasih sayang. 3. Kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam Mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai spiritual dan sosial dalam sistem pendidikan mulai dari pendidikan dasar, menengah hingga perguruan tinggi. Kurikulum ini juga mengakomodasi jalur pendidikan formal maupun non-formal, termasuk pesantren dan madrasah. 4. Model, Strategi, dan Metode Pembelajaran Berbagai pendekatan diterapkan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran, mulai dari metode ceramah, diskusi, praktik ibadah, hingga pemanfaatan media digital untuk pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. 5. Evaluasi Pembelajaran Proses evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengukur pemahaman siswa dalam aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, serta menilai sejauh mana nilai-nilai Islam terinternalisasi dalam kehidupan mereka. 6. Sejarah Pendidikan Islam Memahami perjalanan sejarah pendidikan Islam memberikan wawasan tentang perkembangan institusi pendidikan Islam, tradisi keilmuan, dan peran ulama dalam membangun peradaban Islam. 7. Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Mengelola institusi pendidikan berbasis Islam dengan prinsip-prinsip tata kelola yang profesional, efektif, dan sesuai syariat Islam. 8. Filsafat Pendidikan Islam Mengkaji prinsip-prinsip dasar yang menjadi landasan pemikiran dalam proses pendidikan Islam untuk memahami hakikat manusia dan tujuan pendidikan dalam Islam. Lintas Jenjang dan Jalur Pendidikan Pendidikan Agama Islam mencakup seluruh jenjang pendidikan, mulai dari pendidikan dasar SD dan MI, menengah SMP dan MTs, SMA, SMK, MA, hingga perguruan tinggi. Jalur pendidikan formal, non-formal, pesantren, dan madrasah juga menjadi bagian integral dari sistem pendidikan yang terus berkembang sesuai dengan kebutuhan zaman.

Abstract

Harapan agar para siswa dapat memahami semua materi pelajaran mendorong penelitian ini; khususnya, keinginan untuk menemukan cara-cara untuk meningkatkan teknik pengajaran sehingga siswa lebih mudah memahami mata pelajaran yang diberikan. Dengan demikian, ia dapat menginspirasi para siswanya untuk lebih terlibat dalam pembelajaran mereka sendiri dengan memanfaatkan minat mereka untuk melakukannya. Data yang akurat, valid, dan dapat dipercaya mengenai dampak pemahaman materi pelajaran terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMK Negeri 7 Jakarta adalah tujuan dari penelitian ini. Tingkat dampaknya cukup hingga sedang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasi sebagai metodologinya. Dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data, observasi, dan pencatatan, sebanyak 43 siswa dari SMK Negeri 7 Jakarta dipilih dengan menggunakan pendekatan sampel acak sederhana. Dalam melakukan analisis menggunakan metode korelasi product moment. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terlihat jelas bahwa "ro" lebih besar daripada "rt" baik pada taraf signifikan 5% maupun 1%, karena uji koefisien product moment menghasilkan "rxy" atau "ro" sebesar 0,693, dibandingkan dengan "rt" pada taraf signifikan 5% = 0,304 dan taraf signifikan 1% = 0,393. Dengan demikian, hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Hipotesis Alternatif (Ha) diterima sedangkan Hipotesis Nihil (Ho) ditolak. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa SMK Negeri 7 Jakarta dipengaruhi oleh seberapa baik mereka memahami materi pelajaran.

Abstract

Timur Tengah, wilayah yang kaya akan sejarah dan budaya, adalah tempat lahirnya beberapa peradaban tertua serta agama-agama besar seperti Islam, Kristen, dan Yudaisme. Hubungan antara Islam dan demokrasi di wilayah ini telah menjadi topik perdebatan yang kompleks. Banyak negara di Timur Tengah berada di bawah rezim otoriter yang menggunakan Islam sebagai dasar legitimasi kekuasaan. Namun, gelombang protes Arab Spring menunjukkan aspirasi kuat masyarakat untuk perubahan politik dan penerapan demokrasi. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pandangan tentang kompatibilitas Islam dan demokrasi di Timur Tengah. Beberapa pemikir Islamis berargumen bahwa prinsip-prinsip Islam dapat mendukung demokrasi, sementara yang lain melihat demokrasi sebagai produk Barat yang bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Faktor-faktor eksternal seperti intervensi asing dan konflik regional juga mempengaruhi dinamika politik di wilayah ini. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan studi literatur terhadap sumber-sumber yang terkait dengan penelitian ini. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kompatibilitas antara Islam dan demokrasi sangat bergantung pada interpretasi teks-teks keagamaan dan konteks sosial-politik. Gerakan Islamis menunjukkan variasi dalam pendekatan mereka terhadap demokrasi, dengan beberapa mengadopsi prinsip-prinsip demokrasi sementara yang lain menolaknya. Tantangan struktural seperti otoritarianisme dan ketidaksetaraan ekonomi juga menghambat proses demokratisasi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa dinamika pemikiran Islam dan demokrasi di Timur Tengah sangat kompleks dan dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor internal dan eksternal. Dibutuhkan pendekatan holistik dan kontekstual untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi demokrasi, dengan menghargai nilai-nilai lokal sekaligus mendorong prinsip-prinsip demokrasi universal. Penelitian lebih lanjut dan dialog berkelanjutan antara pemikir, aktivis, dan pembuat kebijakan sangat diperlukan untuk mendukung demokratisasi di Timur Tengah

Abstract

This paper presents an observational and descriptive analysis of the pattern of suffering widows and orphans in Katsina State are subjected to and the extant mechanism that permits the emergence and perpetuation of these sufferings. It defines the problem focusing on three major categories of sufferings, viz: physical, social and economic sufferings, which eventually lead to many social, physical and mental effects on both sides and the community. The paper contains a survey of some selected communities in the State and some faith-based groups striving to aide widows and orphans. The last part of the paper is an analysis from an Islamic perspective. The paper adopted qualitative survey where interviews were conducted with the aim of gathering data. The analysis raises awareness that would assist in formulating strategic socio-Islamic planning in our communities and in implementing social policies for widows and orphans' physical and psychological well-being. There are some observations, recommendations and a conclusion.

Abstract

A major policy area in Nigeria that could result in the attainment of food security as one of the objectives of the sustainable development goals (SDGs) is improvement in the quality of the human capital through education particularly in the Northern Nigeria as the extent of human capital development determines productivity and earnings of household which could further result in the enhancement of household food security. In view of this, the study has examined the relationship between human capital and household food security and has as well ascertained the determinants of household food security in Northern Nigeria using food consumption scores measure of food security. The data employed covers the 3rd round of the general household survey (GHS) (4th wave) conducted in 2018 and produced in 2019. The key issues addressed are the issues of household food security which was measured using food consumption score (FCS) that measures nutritional quality. A total of 4926 households were interviewed, across 519 enumeration areas (EAS). The study employed both descriptive and inferential analytical techniques for data presentation and analyses. The descriptive statistics revealed that the North Central and North West zones are more food secured than the North East. The inferential statistics using multiple regressions (OLS) has revealed that human capital is relevant to food security in the Northern region as it increases personal earnings that improve nutrition and productivity. The other socioeconomic factors that positively influence food security in terms of nutritional quality are access to employment, size and being married while age, dependency ratio and gender showed no significant influence. However, households in the rural areas are more likely to consume foods with low nutritional quality compared to those in the urban areas. Therefore, the study recommends that policy makers should continue to promote the development of education and skill acquisition with the aim to increase food security.

Abstract

The Project Activity for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile is expected to form the personality of Indonesian students based on the values of Pancasila, one of the values contained in the Pancasila Student Profile is an independent attitude. Therefore, students are expected to take part in project activities to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile. This research aims to determine the influence of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project Activities on Students' Independent Attitudes at SMA DIPONEGORO 2. The aim of the research is to find out and understand the influence of the Implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project on Students' Independent Attitudes.The method used in this research is quantitative correlational with a sample of 64 students using a simple random sampling technique. The analysis technique uses simple linear regression and correlational tests. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that project activities to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile have an influence on students' independent attitudes. This is shown by the results of the hypothesis test using the Pearson Product Moment correlation, with a significance value of 0.000 (0.000 < 0.05) and a Pearson correlation value of 0.557 (0.40-0.599), which shows that there is a very strong correlation. Thus, it can be concluded that the higher the level of activities of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project, the better the level of independent attitude of the students. On the other hand, the low level of Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project activities among students will have a negative impact on students' independent attitudes.

Abstract

Character building is one of the main goals of education in the contemporary era full of global challenges. This article discusses the importance of integrating local and international values in building the character of the younger generation. Local values rooted in the nation's culture and traditions are important in shaping individual identity and morality. In contrast, global values such as tolerance, openness, and technological progress are important foundations in facing an increasingly connected world. Contemporary issues such as social change, technological disruption, and globalization require education to adapt to a more inclusive and dynamic approach. This study employs a qualitative methodology, utilizing a descriptive approach. Through a balanced integration of local and global values, education can build the character of Sith who have a moderate attitude, and broad insight, and can contribute positively to the life of the worldwide community without leaving the nation's identity. This study highlights educational strategies in dealing with contemporary issues and the important role of teachers and academic institutions in forming strong and adaptive characters. The integration of local and global values in education is key to building a strong and relevant character amidst the challenges of the times. With a balanced and flexible approach, students can grow into individuals who are firmly rooted in their local values, while being able to face and contribute to an ever-changing global world.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the activity of Sholat Mujahadah as local wisdom towards teacher spirituality in educating students at the Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School. The Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, which is an Islamic boarding school based on the Koran, has interesting habits carried out by its educators. This habit is transformed into a form of worship which they call the mujahadah routineThe Mujahadah tradition carried out at the Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School is a manifestation of spiritual worship that not only strengthens the relationship between teachers and God but also functions as an effort to form the character of students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques are done through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study indicate that Sholat Mujahadah has a significant influence on teacher spirituality. This tradition helps teachers develop calmness, patience, and sincerity in educating students, improving the quality of teaching. This local wisdom not only functions as a religious ritual, but also strengthens social ties and spiritual values ​​in the Islamic boarding school environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop the concept of da'wah in building superior generational character and da'wah strategies in building superior generational character to realize the ideals of Golden Indonesia 2045. This method uses qualitative research categorized as explanatory analysis with sociological, anthropological, philosophical, and psychological approaches. The data collection technique in this research is library research related to the problem under study. The results of this study indicate that building superior generational character towards the ideals of the Golden Indonesia 2045 requires the right strategy; therefore, da'wah and strategy development in character building from the Qur'anic perspective is the answer to the formation of a generation with superior character. “The Living Qur'an,” Muhammad Rasulullah SAW, is a figure of superior and complete character in the aspects of hard skills and skills, a model of human life in all dimensions: ideology, education, politics, economics, social, cultural, and state. Character is a behavior formed from the synergy of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor, which is inherent and spontaneous, as well as the uniqueness of each individual. A person's character is formed by primary factors; faith, and secondary factors; family, educational institutions/schools, environment and government policies. Character is a combination of a person's soft skills and hard skills competencies. The results of this study also develop the concept of da'wah specifically in realizing the Golden Indonesia 2045, namely amar ma'ruf nahi munkar through the formation of superior character of the millennial-zillennial generation with the Islamic character paradigm, where the Prophet Muhammad is a role model, a figure who is proven and tested for success throughout the ages, with universal character values. Superior character building towards Golden Indonesia 2024 is carried out through exemplary advice, direction, prohibition, orders, self-concept education (values education), habituation, consistency, and sustainability. Da'wah in shaping the superior character of the millennial-zillennial generation is carried out with 21st-century learning strategies, namely mad'u-centered learning and contextual teaching & learning, by integrating aspects of high-order thinking skills (HOTS).

Abstract

This study discusses implementing Islamic education management in the activities of the Baiturrahim Taklim Assembly in Cimanggis, Depok. Islamic education management focuses on the management of learning activities based on Islamic values and aims to improve religious understanding and shape the religious character of participants. It is important to examine how Majelis Taklim Baiturrahim Cimanggis Depok can overcome these challenges by implementing good educational management strategies. With proper management, it is expected that this taklim assembly can continue to play a role as an effective center for religious education and guidance, as well as being able to improve the quality of understanding and practice of religion of the congregation. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study results indicate that implementing Islamic education management in the Baiturrahim Taklim Assembly includes planning a structured study program, organizing competent educators, implementing activities that focus on studying the Qur'an and Hadith, and routine evaluation of participant participation and understanding. This implementation is effective in building an active learning community oriented towards improving morals and strengthening Islamic brotherhood in the surrounding environment. However, several challenges in terms of funding and facilities still require more attention to improve the quality of the taklim assembly activities.
