Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat minat dan motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler futsal di SMK Muhammadiyah 4 Sukorejo, baik intrinsik maupun ekstrinsik, serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa peserta ekstrakurikuler futsal yang dijadikan responden melalui teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket skala Likert yang memuat indikator minat dan motivasi, kemudian data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat dan motivasi siswa berada pada kategori sedang hingga tinggi. Sebanyak 82% siswa memiliki motivasi intrinsik yang dominan, ditunjukkan melalui rasa senang, kepuasan pribadi, dan semangat berprestasi. Sementara itu, 74% siswa terdorong oleh motivasi ekstrinsik, seperti dukungan pelatih, pengakuan sosial, dan ketersediaan fasilitas sekolah. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa minat dan motivasi siswa relatif baik, namun masih perlu penguatan melalui perbaikan sarana, peningkatan kualitas pembinaan, dan penerapan strategi motivasional yang lebih variatif. Temuan ini diharapkan memberi kontribusi bagi sekolah dan pembina ekstrakurikuler dalam merancang program futsal yang lebih efektif serta memperkaya literatur mengenai psikologi olahraga di lingkungan pendidikan menengah

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of traditional games as a learning medium on students’ motivation and engagement in elementary schools. The research background was based on the low level of motivation and engagement when students participate in conventional learning activities. The study employed a one group pretest-posttest design with a sample of 27 elementary school students. Research instruments consisted of motivation and engagement questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and paired sample t-test. The results showed significant differences between pretest and posttest scores for both students’ motivation and engagement. The average score of motivation increased from 67.22 in the pretest to 79.26 in the posttest, while the engagement score rose from 64.96 in the pretest to 76.96 in the posttest. The paired sample t-test revealed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant improvement after the application of traditional games in learning. It can be concluded that traditional games as a learning medium are effective in enhancing students’ motivation and engagement. These findings highlight the importance of integrating traditional games into the learning process in elementary schools as a strategy to create enjoyable, contextual, and holistic learning experiences that support students’ overall development

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of measuring the level of motor skills of fourth-grade students at MI Al Musthofa. This study was a quantitative descriptive study, and the method used in this study was a survey. The instrument used in this study was the Motor Ability Test for Elementary Schools, which included a 4 x 10 metre shuttle run test (agility), a 1-metre ball throw and catch test against a wall (coordination), a Stork Stand Positional Balance test (balance), and a 30-metre sprint test (speed). Data collection techniques used tests and measurements. The subjects used in this study were all 83 fourth-grade students at MI Al Musthofa. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis with percentages. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the gross motor skills of MI Al Musthofa Canggu students were in the very good category 0%, good category 0%, moderate category 2.4%, poor category 18.1%, and very poor category 79.5%. The conclusion of this study is that the gross motor skills of students are in the very poor category.

Abstract

Latar Belakang Masalah: Pembelajaran senam lantai, khususnya gerakan guling depan dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK), menghadapi berbagai tantangan. Siswa sering kesulitan menguasai teknik guling depan karena metode konvensional yang monoton dan kurang menarik. Kondisi ini menurunkan motivasi serta hasil belajar siswa, sehingga dibutuhkan pendekatan inovatif melalui model permainan. Tujuan Penelitian: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan model permainan dalam pembelajaran senam lantai guna meningkatkan hasil belajar guling depan peserta didik. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, dan pada tahap implementasi menggunakan desain One-Group Pretest–Posttest selama tiga kali pertemuan. Sampel ditentukan dengan cluster random sampling melalui undian kertas dari 9 kelas paralel, dan terpilih kelas VII-C berjumlah 30 siswa (16 laki-laki, 14 perempuan). Instrumen pengetahuan dan keterampilan telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas sebelum digunakan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji Shapiro–Wilk pada selisih skor, dan Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test ketika distribusi tidak normal. . Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada aspek pengetahuan (pretest = 11,80; posttest = 15,30; peningkatan sebesar 3,50 poin atau 29,66%; Z = −4,873; p < 0,001; r = 0,89) dan keterampilan (pretest = 24,07; posttest = 45,80; peningkatan sebesar 21,73 poin atau 90,32%; Z = −4,912; p < 0,001; r = 0,90). Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model permainan terbukti efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan teknik, dan motivasi siswa. Model ini direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran PJOK untuk memperkuat kualitas pendidikan jasmani di sekolah.

Abstract

Tujuan TPA ialah untuk menilai kualitas intelektual, bakat serta kemampuan seseorang dalam bidang akademik. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis hasil tryout TPA pada mahasiswa PPG program studi PJOK. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis butir soal secara kuantitatif. Tahapan dalam analisis data meliputi 1) analisis tingkat kesukaran butir soal tryout, 2) mengukur daya beda,  3) analisis validitas butir soal tryout, 4) menguji distraktor pilihan jawaban dan 5) analisis realiabilitas menggunakan Cronbach’s Alpha. dari 35 butir soal tryout yang telah diberikan pada 523 mahasiswa PPG program studi PJOK masih harus ditingkatkan dengan hasil tingkat kesukaran mudah sebanyak 20 butir soal (p > 0,70), sedangkan tingkat kesukaran sedang sebanyak 14 butir soal (0,30 ≤ p ≤ 0,70) dan 1 butir soal pada tingkat kesukaran sulit (p < 0,30). Hasil analisis daya beda terdapat 20 butir soal termasuk dalam kategori cukup dan 15 butir soal termasuk kategori jelek. Hasil analisis validitas butir soal terdapat 11 butir soal yang dianggap tidak valid dikarenakan r < 0,3. Namun terdapat data yang menunjukkan butir soal valid tapi beberapa butir soal memiliki korelasi yang rendah dikategorikan sebagai tidak valid dan perlu untuk digugurkan. Hasil analisis distraktor terdapat 7 butir soal yang tidak berfungsi sehingga butir soal tersebut perlu dibuang atau digugurkan. Hasil analisis reliabilitas dihasilkan sebesar 0,823 untuk keselurhan 35 butir soal atau pada tahap awal sebelum digugurkan atau revisi. Kemudian meningkat menjadi 0,831 untuk 28 butir soal yang tersisa atau setelah dilakukan pengguguran. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa instrumen tes memiliki tingkat reliabilitas yang tinggi.

Abstract

One of the most important components of volleyball is the net. The net serves as a boundary for the playing area and determines the height at which the ball must pass. Volleyball nets generally have inflexible heights and designs, making the learning process difficult for students with disabilities, such as those in wheelchairs or individuals with limited mobility. This condition can decrease learning motivation, reduce active engagement, and even pose safety risks if not properly adapted. Innovation in the design of a portable net is a relevant solution to overcome these obstacles. Portable nets allow for height and width adjustments as needed, are easily transported, and can be installed in various locations, both indoors and outdoors. Furthermore, the lightweight yet sturdy materials and construction will support mobility and safety, making volleyball learning for people with disabilities more inclusive and effective. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach to design and test a portable net prototype as a volleyball learning tool for students with disabilities. The R&D method was chosen because it is suitable for producing innovative educational products, from planning, manufacturing, to feasibility testing. In general, the research stages include observation, interviews and design plans. The design research for a portable net as a volleyball learning tool for students with disabilities produces a product in the form of a portable volleyball net that can be adjusted in height, is lightweight, and easy to move so that it supports the inclusive learning process for students. The final product is a portable volleyball net for students with disabilities. It is lightweight, easy to move, and easy to adjust in height, safe and durable, with a feasibility level of >90% according to experts and users, proven to increase the participation and motivation of students with disabilities in volleyball learning, these results indicate that the design of a portable net has succeeded in meeting the needs of inclusive, practical, and effective volleyball learning tools for students with disabilities.

Abstract

The PJOK learning method at SD Inpres Biromaru is still conventional, without variations in techniques or supporting media to help students successfully learn the movement. This has an impact on fourth-grade students who are unable to perform the candle pose (shoulder stand) with the correct technique, resulting in their performance being considered incomplete based on the minimum mastery criterion (KKM) of 70 set by the school. This study aims to determine efforts to improve candle pose skills through the use of instructional aids among fourth-grade students at SD Inpres Biromaru. The method used was a descriptive method with a classroom action research (CAR) design. The research subjects consisted of 18 fourth-grade students. Data analysis was carried out using the percentage of mastery achievement. The results showed that in the pre-cycle stage, the lowest student score was 50.00 and the highest was 76.67, with an average of 64.62. In Cycle I, the lowest score increased to 60.00, the highest to 83.33, and the average to 72.55. In Cycle II, the lowest score reached 63.33, the highest 90.00, and the average 76.37. The percentage of student mastery in the pre-cycle was 22.16% (4 students), increased to 27.72% (5 students) in Cycle I, and reached 61.76% (21 students) in Cycle II. Overall, the mastery level reached 77.76% or 14 students, which falls into the moderate category.

Abstract

Obesity is a global health issue associated with an increased risk of metabolic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and cardiovascular disorders. Women are more susceptible to abdominal obesity due to higher visceral fat accumulation. This study aimed to investigate the effect of a combined core strengthening and breathing exercise program on reducing body mass index (BMI) and waist circumference in obese women. A one-group pretest-posttest design was used, involving 15 obese female participants aged 20–35 years. The intervention was conducted over six weeks, with a frequency of three sessions per week. The exercise program included core strengthening exercises (pelvic tilt, supine marching, bridge, modified and full bird-dog, side leg lift, wall plank, single-leg bridge, modified and full side plank, light curl-up, dynamic bridge, modified full plank, light wall sit, flutter kick, and superman hold) and breathing exercises (diaphragmatic breathing and pursed-lip breathing). BMI and waist circumference were measured before and after the intervention. Paired sample t-test results showed a significant reduction in BMI from 27.63 ± 0.76 to 26.61 ± 0.76 (p < 0.001) and in waist circumference from 91.07 ± 3.57 cm to 86.73 ± 3.22 cm (p < 0.001). These findings suggest that the combined exercise program is effective in improving anthropometric indicators related to obesity. This non-pharmacological intervention may be recommended for obesity management in women. Further research is needed to assess its long-term effects and potential integration with other lifestyle interventions such as dietary changes and health education. Abstract

Due to the advancement of technology and the rise in sedentary lifestyles, which have a detrimental effect on physical health, adolescent health issues have gained prominence.  Students in the tenth grade at SMA Santa Maria Surabaya also exhibit this phenomenon, with low levels of physical fitness and tendencies toward obesity.  This study uses the Tes Kebugaran Pelajar Nusantara (TKPN) pretest–posttest design to assess the effects of two exercise models, Tabata Workout and Circuit Training, on students' physical fitness and Body Mass Index (BMI).  Direct observation, documentation, and fitness evaluations were used to gather data.  To ascertain the significance of differences prior to and following the intervention, t-test statistical techniques were applied to the pretest and posttest data. The findings indicated that for physical fitness, Tabata Workout yielded t = –1.638 (p = 0.110) and Circuit Training yielded t = –0.957 (p = 0.345), with all p-values exceeding 0.05, suggesting no significant improvement.  For BMI, the Tabata Workout recorded t = 0.290 (p = 0.773), while Circuit Training recorded t = 0.612 (p = 0.544), both indicating no statistical significance.  While minor increases were noted in certain fitness components, these alterations did not achieve statistical significance.  Consequently, neither exercise program demonstrated significant enhancements in physical condition.  The findings indicate that adolescent health issues constitute a significant challenge, necessitating physical exercise interventions that are structured, intensive, and tailored to the specific needs of students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the career development of students at the Biting Putra Jaya (BPJ) Football School (SSB) after participating in the Soeratin U-15 Cup from 2023 to 2025. The research method used was descriptive quantitative with a longitudinal design. The study subjects were 14 students, all of whom were sampled using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through documentation, observation, and interviews with coaches and SSB administrators. Descriptive analysis was conducted by calculating the percentage of student activity each year, the level of competition participated in, and involvement in ongoing coaching activities. The results showed that only 8 students (57.1%) were still actively competing until 2025, while 6 students (42.9%) dropped out or took a break. This decline in participation was influenced by motivational factors, academic priorities, limited facilities, and lack of access to advanced competitions and selection. The study's conclusions confirm that coaching at SSB BPJ has been running quite well at the basic stage, but a long-term athlete development strategy is needed through increased psychological support, academic partnerships, and a sustainable competitive network.
