Current pupils have low achievement and poor massage learning skills. The purpose of the study was to ascertain how well Department of Physical Education students' cognitive learning accomplishment and sports massage abilities might be enhanced by the project-based learning model (PjBL) and self-efficacy. A post-test control group design was used in conjunction with a quasi-experimental design. There were 141 students in 6 classes in the Department of Physical Education. The samples for this study consisted of 4 groups (76 students), each of which had 19 students. The groups were formed based on self-efficacy and learning models. Multiple-choice tests were used to assess learning achievement, and a massage skills test was used to assess skills. The inferential statistical analysis of MANOVA was applied to the data analysis process. The findings indicated that the PjBL model and self-efficacy had a simultaneous and partial effect on improving cognitive learning achievement and sports massage skills; additionally, the PjBL had a greater impact on these outcomes than direct instruction; third, the high self-efficacy had a greater impact on these outcomes than the low self-efficacy; and finally, the interaction between the learning models (PjBL and direct instruction) with self-efficacy (high and low) had a significantly different effect on these outcomes. Therefore, the grouping of strong and low self-efficacy has varying effects on the learning model (PjBL and direct teaching) employed for cognitive learning achievement and sports massage abilities. In the Department of Physical Education, the PjBL model and self-efficacy are advised to enhance students' cognitive learning success and sports massage abilities.

This research aimed to improve long jump learning outcomes in class X 1 students of SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan by applying the Problem-Based Learning learning model. This type of classroom action research was carried out in two cycles: action planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were class X 1 students of SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan in the academic year 2023/2024. There were 36 students, consisting of 20 females and 16 males. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that learning outcomes classically experienced a significant increase in the attitude aspect from cycle I of 16.7% increased to 80.6% in cycle II, the knowledge aspect from cycle I of 44.4% increased to 86.1% in cycle II, and the skill aspect from cycle I of 33.3% increased to 80.6% in cycle II. The research concluded that the learning outcomes of the long jump increased through the application of the PBL learning model in class X 1 students of SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan in the academic year 2023/2024. This study aims to analyze the effect of Jumping-rope and Calf-rise training on increasing leg muscle strength. The type of research is a quasi-experiment with the non-randomized pretest posttest control group design. The research subjects were 30 people. Leg muscle strength was measured using the Leg dynamometer test and the data were analyzed using a one-way ANOVA test, followed by the least significant difference (LSD) test at a significance level (a) of 0.05 with the help of the SPSS 16.0 computer program. Description of research data from the variable leg muscle strength in the Calf-Rise group which increased by 3.70, the Jumping-Rope group experienced an increase of 5.80, and the control group experienced an increase of 2.40. The results of data analysis using the one-way ANOVA test showed that Jumping-Rope and Calf-Rise training had an effect on increasing leg muscle strength with a significance value of 0.000 (sig <0.05) and there were differences in the influence of each group. Based on the least significant difference (LSD) test, it was found that the Jumping-Rope training mean difference was 2.10000, which was better than the Calf-Rise training mean difference of -2.10000. The results of this research can be concluded that: (1) Jumping-Rope and Calf-Rise research has an effect on increasing leg muscle strength, (2) There is a difference in the influence between Jumping-Rope and Calf-Rise training which has an effect on increasing leg muscle explosive power, where training Jumping-Rope has a better effect than Calf-Rise training in increasing leg muscle strength. For sports players, it is recommended that they use Jumping-Rope and Calf-Rise training as a way to increase Leg Muscle strength
