Abstract

Horseshoe seating formation is a student seating arrangement method designed to create optimal interaction and communication in the classroom and for the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method learning strategy as a means to achieve effective learning objectives. This study aims to determine the effect of horseshoe seating arrangement and the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method on the science learning motivation of fifth grade students at SDN Bunter 1. The type of research is quantitative with experimental research methods. The design used pretest-posttest control group design. The samples of this study were VA class students as control class and VB as experimental class with a total of 72 students. The research sample was determined using purposive sampling. Data analysis using SPSS software version 20.0 for windows. The results showed that the significance value for the seating arrangement was 0.00 <0.05 while the significance value for the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning method was 0.00 <0.05, this means that H0 is rejected Ha is accepted. The research conclusion shows that there is a positive influence of seating arrangement and Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning method on student learning motivation.

Abstract

This development research aims to develop a product in the form of Uno cards as a learning medium that contains science lessons on ecosystem themes with feasibility tests and student responses. The research method uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with 3D design including Definition, Design and Development. The research instrument is a questionnaire with a Likert scale for feasibility testing by a team of experts and a student response questionnaire. The results of the feasibility test for the Uno card learning media by a team of material experts were assessed as very feasible reaching 85%, media experts assessed it as very feasible reaching 85% and language experts assessed it as very feasible reaching 88%. The average result of all validators is 86% in the very feasible category. Product trials were carried out on grade 5 students at SD Negeri Merak III in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of the student response test reached the very good category of 85%. Based on the results of expert validation and limited trials on students, the Ukos card game media can be a learning media that is suitabel for use in the learning process in schools.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SD Negeri 3 Kayubihi. The research approach used was descriptive qualitative with the subjects being class II students and class II homeroom teachers. Primary data was obtained through interviews with school principals, teachers and students, as well as classroom observations. Secondary data includes school documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Miles & Huberman model. The research results show that the Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri 3 Kayubihi has been implemented in accordance with government policy, including planning teaching materials, educational media, recording grades, diagnostic assessments, and teacher and student reflection. Differentiated education is applied to adapt teaching materials to student needs, so that education becomes more interesting and efficient. Comprehensive assessments include diagnostic, formative, summative and National Assessments. The challenges in implementing this curriculum were successfully overcome by teachers with creativity and thorough preparation. Overall, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SD Negeri 3 Kayubihi is going well, meeting government guidelines and student needs

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between interactive learning media and student learning outcomes. This research used quantitative research (Quantitative Research) which is a product moment correlation, namely a type of research that uses variable X data and Variable Y data. Variable X represents the use of interactive learning media and variable Y reflects student learning outcomes. Used this method, researchers can measure the extent of relationship between these two variables and understand their impact on student learning outcomes in more detail. The results obtained from this research indicate that the use of interactive learning media based on Power Point has been proven to have a significant impact on student learning outcomes at SDN Merjosari 3, Malang City. Before using interactive media, student learning outcomes were very low with a percentage of only 53.35% of the average value, which means the achievement standard was 75%. However, after implementing interactive learning media, there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes, with a percentage reaching 89% of the average score, which means above the achievement standard, namely 75%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the effective use of interactive learning media can improve student learning outcomes at SDN Merjosari 3, Malang City.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kolaborasi siswa kelas V SDN 1 Sukamulya, dengan melalui pengembangan model pembelajaran Radec berbasis Games Tournament. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Developent). Metode penelitian dan pengembangan digunakan untuk menghasilkakn rancangan produk baru. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran radec yang mana sintaks dari model radec terdahulu dirubah menjadi sintaks terbaru dengan games tournament. Penulis menggunakan model penelitian ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation) yang mana terdapat lima langkah atau tahapan. Produk yang dihasilkan yaitu keterbaruan sintaks dari model pembelajaran radec berbasis games tournament. Produk ini, diiplementasikan kepada siswa kelas V SDN 1 Sukamulya yang berjumlah 21 siswa, 12 siswa laki-laki dan 9 siswa perempuan. Setelah penerapan terdapat hasil sebelum dan sesudah penerpan yang mana hasilnya menunjukan bahwa kemampuan kolaborasi siswa pada hasil Preetest memiliki rata-rata (mean) sebesar 8,38 dan pada hasil preetest memiliki nilai rata-rata atau (mean) sebesar 11,14 setelah diberikan perlakuan (treatment) dan hasil dari (2-tailed) dengan nilai 0,000. Maka dari itu, apabila nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari rumus dasar pengambilan keputusan (0,000 < 0,05) maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh dan terdapat peningkatan.

Abstract

This study aims to equip fifth grade students at SDN 26 Singkawang to: 1) recognize the comparison of student learning outcomes between classes that utilize the direct learning model and classes that utilize the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model in science subjects; and 2) identify the extent of the influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on the science learning skills of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 26 Singkawang. The method used is a quantitative test with a semi-exploratory plan. The posttest-only control design served as an exploratory configuration. This study only included fifth grade students at SDN 26 Singkawang, and the sample was taken using probability sampling. 1) There is a comparison of student learning outcomes between the class that practices the Contextual Teaching and Learning( CTL) model and the control class that uses the direct learning model, as evidenced by the results with = -436,74 > = 1,67 86. 2) Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Learning Model influences science learning outcomes on topic 9 subtheme 1 learning 1 class V SDN 26 Singkawang with an Effect Size () trial of 2, 87 located in the upper class . The Contextual Teaching and Learning model has a significant influence on the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 26 Singkawang, it can be concluded

Abstract

Researcher found a lack of students activity during the learning process which was carried out by forming heterogeneous groups. Based on these problems, researchers conducted a research by applying the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to grade IIA students at Sendangguwo 01 elementary schooll and aimed to explore students' learning using the TaRL approach with the PBL model in grade IIA at Sendangguwo 01 elementary school. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The research participants were 29 studentes in grade IIA at Sendangguwo 01 elementary school that consisted of 14 men and 15 women. The research results showed that students have a positive perception of learning using the TaRL approach with the PBL model. They consider this learning can provide an opportunity to work together with classmates, learn to solve the problems, and they can be in a group with equal abilities. This research provides a deeper understanding of students’ perceptions with TaRL approach learning with the PBL learning model in class IIA at Sendangguwo 01elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of project-based learning using stick and plasticine media on Mathematics learning outcomes among fourth-grade students of SDN Sendangguwo 01 Semarang. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 28 students from class IVB SDN Sendangguwo 01 Semarang. Data were collected through tests and documentation. The results were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test and N-gain calculation. The Wilcoxon test was chosen due to the non-normal distribution of the data. The findings indicated a significant Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000<0.05, thus supporting the alternative hypothesis (Ha). The N-gain analysis categorized the effectiveness as moderate, with an N-gain score of 0.5830 and a percentage N-gain of 58.3007. Therefore, the project-based learning model using stick and plasticine media significantly proved to be moderately effective in enhancing Mathematics learning outcomes among fourth-grade students at SDN Sendangguwo 01 Semarang. This research is expected to contribute to educational practices.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the effect of implementing the PBL (Problem Based Learning) model on students' abilities in solving mathematical problems in class IV SD 2 Ploso. By focusing on providing material about flat shapes, this research measures differences in students' understanding abilities before and after learning using the t test on pretest and posttest scores. Before treatment, students took the pretest with an average score of 34, indicating a low initial level of understanding. After learning with PBL, the posttest results showed a significant increase with an average score reaching 63. Through the Paired t-test hypothesis test, the significance value (sig.) was 0.001, smaller than the probability of 0.05, indicating that there was a positive influence of the PBL model on students' ability to solve mathematical problems. Thus, it can be concluded that PBL is effective in improving the mathematical problem-solving ability of grade IV students.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the problem based learning model in improving the mathematical literacy skills of elementary school students. This research is quantitative research using a pre-experimental design with one group pretest posttest type. The population of this study was class V students at SDN Sarirejo. Sampling was carried out using a saturated sampling technique. The sample for this research was all class V students at SDN Sarirejo, totaling 28 students. This research data collection technique uses pretest and posttest. The data analysis techniques used in processing the data are the normality test as a prerequisite test and the N-gain test to test the hypothesis. The results of this research show that the problem based learning model is effective in improving the mathematical literacy skills of elementary school students. The results of the N-gain test obtained a value of 0.64 which is in the criteria for increasing moderate mathematical literacy skills. So, learning should be centered on students and the teacher should only be a facilitator. In this way, students can further explore their abilities, including mathematical literacy abilities.
