Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the discovery learning model assisted by LKPD on students' understanding of concepts and learning activities on the Pythagorean theorem material. This classroom action research was designed in two cycles. Actions taken by observing during learning activities with indicators include: attendance level, activeness in answering educators' questions, and activeness in asking questions appropriate to the discussion material. The material covered in cycle I and cycle II is the Pythagorean Theorem. The subjects of this research were 28 Class VIII C MTsN 6 Pasuruan students for the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of Classroom Action Research were obtained in two cycles, there has been an increase in understanding of mathematical concepts as seen from the increase in learning outcomes reaching 89.3% in the second cycle from 71.4% in the first cycle. Students' learning activity also increased starting from 87.13 % in cycle I became 92.66% in cycle II. The increase in student activity in collecting assignments increased from 68.57% in cycle I to 85.71% in cycle II.

Abstract

Freedom Learning is a program that is very in line with the agenda of improving the quality of education. By understanding in depth the implementation of the program will certainly make this program be implemented well. Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menyoroti pentingnya penggunaan teknologi guna meningkatkan motivasi atau semangat belajar siswa di SMP PGRI 2 Singosari, Malang. Dalam era digital saat ini, teknologi telah menjadi komponen integral dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, sehingga pemanfaatannya dalam pendidikan menjadi semakin relevan dan signifikan. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 50 siswa dari kelas 7, 8, dan 9 dengan menggunakan metode survei dan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Dari hasil penelitian didapati bahwa sebagian besar responden (84%) menyatakan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, seperti perangkat lunak pembelajaran interaktif, aplikasi pendidikan, dan platform pembelajaran online, mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar mereka. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi dapat menjadikan pembelajaran lebih dinamis, menghibur, serta membantu membangkitkan minat belajar siswa. Data persentase yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini mendukung konklusi bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran berpedoman pada teknologi mampu menaikkan motivasi belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, artikel ini menegaskan bahwa penggunaan teknologi sebagai bagian integral dari pembelajaran menjadi sangat penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang memadukan kecanggihan teknologi dengan kebutuhan motivasi siswa, sehingga menghasilkan kombinasi yang mendukung hasil belajar optimal dalam konteks pendidikan modern.

Abstract

English literature teaching plays a crucial role in developing students’ critical thinking, analytical skills, and appreciation for language and culture. However, effectively teaching literature can be challenging due to the complexity of literary texts and the diversity of student learning styles. To address these challenges, teachers need to employ a range of effective teaching strategies that engage students, foster deeper understanding, and stimulate their intellectual growth. By incorporating effective teaching strategies and considerations, English literature teachers can foster a love of literature, critical thinking skills, and intellectual growth in their students, making literature a meaningful and engaging part of their academic journey.

Abstract

The research questions addressed in this work are: 1) How models of social communication carried out by the government in fostering the former member Gafatar in Trenggalek ?. 2) How religious communication model made by religious leaders in fostering the former member Gafatar in Trenggalek?. 3) Whether the factors that prompted the government and religious leaders in fostering the former member Gafatar in Trenggalek ?. 4) Whether the factors that hinder the government and religious leaders in fostering the former member Gafatar in Trenggalek ?. This study used a qualitative approach in the design exploratory and ethnographic studies in the frame. Data collection techniques used is semistructured interviews, observation of non participant and documentation. After the data is collected, then analyzed using the techniques of analysis model template. The model is commonly used in ethnographic research, including research on the dynamics of the lives of individuals and groups. The research found out that: 1) Model of social communication carried out by the government in fostering the former member Gafatar in Trenggalek done using the approach communication patterns in the form of discussions, both formal and nonformal. In Addition, also be done by involving a former member Gafatar in any existingmutual assistance activities in the local communities. 2) Model of religious communication is done by religious leaders in fostering the former member Gafatar in Trenggalek done by providing an understanding of the true aqidah Islamiyah. In addition, also be done by involving a former member Gafatar in any religious activities in their local community, such as yasinan and tahlilan. 3) Factors that encourage government and religious leaders in fostering the former member Gafatar in Trenggalek consists of: psychological factors, factors means, and social factors. 4) Factors that hinder the government and religious leaders in fostering the former member Gafatar in Trenggalek namely the existence of barriers in terms of mindset and psychological factors perceived by a former member Gafatar.

Abstract

Role means something that is played or carried out. A role is defined as an activity that is played or performed by someone who has a position or social status in the organization. Morals mean attitudes, customs, habits or systems of behavior, habits that are common in a person's personality without any coercion that occurs because of themselves. The industrial era 4.0 is an effort to transform towards improvement by integrating the online world and production lines in industry, where all production processes run with the internet as the main support. This research focuses on: the role of Islamic boarding schools in the formation of santri morals, inhibiting and supporting factors in the formation of santri morals in the industrial era 4.0? With the aim: To find out the role of the Islamic boarding school, Al Muttaqin Bugul Lor Islamic Boarding School, Pasuruan City in the formation of santri morals. To find out the inhibiting and supporting factors for santri morals at the Al Muttaqin Bugul Lor Islamic Boarding School, Pasuruan City in the industrial era 4.0. In this research, researchers use a qualitative approach. Qualitative research is research that aims to describe phenomena or events that are considered unique, actual and relevant to certain scientific disciplines. In this research, theory is only used as an analytical tool in explaining this phenomenon. Meanwhile, the type of research used in this research is descriptive. This research is divided into three stages, namely: data collection, identifying data, final stage of research.

Abstract

Speaking skills are considered a very vital aspect of improving communication skills, self-confidence and career opportunities. In the context of English language teaching, learning speaking skills should be done effectively, focusing on hands-on experience and social interaction. The concept of philosophical constructivism provides the theoretical foundation for this study, with six key principles, including an emphasis on the active construction of knowledge by learners and the role of the teacher as a facilitator. The implications of constructivism in language learning include learner-centered learning, the teacher's role as a facilitator, active learning, the use of direct experience, social interaction, and reflection. The previous review highlights the application of constructivism in English language learning, with research covering the development of constructivist models, the enhancement of student understanding, and the application of constructivism learning theory in foreign language learning. Overall, the research confirms the importance of speaking skills in the context of English language learning and identifies constructivism as an effective approach. The implications and findings of the previous study provide deep and diverse insights into the application of constructivism in English language learning

Abstract

In differentiated learning, the role of students' cognitive style is crucial. Visual, auditory and kinesthetic students require different approaches. Self-efficacy, belief in ability, motivation and self-regulated learning also have a significant impact. Motivation is the drive, while self-regulated learning is the ability to organize the learning process. The results and discussion of this research highlight seven ways differentiated learning achieves its goals, including recognition of learning needs and styles, customization of materials, providing choice, and continuous evaluation. The research also discusses differences in cognitive style, self-efficacy, motivation, and self-regulated learning and how these concepts play a role in differentiated learning. The differentiated learning strategies discussed involve recognizing individual students, creating a positive learning environment, varying teaching methods, and utilizing technology. The role of differentiation in helping students build self-efficacy and motivation to learn is highlighted as a key contribution of differentiated learning. Despite challenges such as deep understanding of learners and preparation of differentiated materials, differentiated learning is considered to create a more positive and effective learning experience.

Abstract

Jenis Penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala, guru dan siswa TPQ Darussalam Desa Ketegan Kecamatan Rejoso Kabupaten Pasuruan. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi langsung, wawancara terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Akselerasi metode Qiro’ati dalam mewujudkan mutu lulusan anak usia dini di TPQ Darussalam Desa Ketegan Kecamatan Rejoso Kabupaten Pasuruan dilakukan dengan memberikan tambahan jam belajar pada waktu pagi pukul 07.00-08.30, sehingga santri anak usia dini mampu menyelesaikan pembelajaran buku Qiro’ati 6 jilid dengan cepat. 2) Upaya mewujudkan mutu lulusan anak usia dini di TPQ Darussalam Desa Ketegan Kecamatan Rejoso Kabupaten Pasuruan adalah a) Penyusunan program dengan baik, b) Meningkatkan kualitas guru melalui pembinaan rutin, c) Evaluasi kegiatan secara berkala. 3) Faktor pendukung akselerasi metode Qiro’ati dalam mewujudkan mutu lulusan anak usia dini di TPQ Darussalam Desa Ketegan Kecamatan Rejoso Kabupaten Pasuruan adalah a) Kualitas guru yang memiliki syahadah, b) Motivasi belajar santri yang tinggi, c) Sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. Sedangkan faktor penghambat adalah a) Tingkat kemampuan santri yang berbedab) Beberapa santri datang terlambat, c) Kondisi lingkungan TPQ yang kurang kondusif

Abstract

Mental Health atau dalam istilah Bahasa Indonesia Kesehatan jiwa merupakan hal yang paling penting dalam pembentukan karakter diri seseorang. Kondisi kesehatan jiwa yang baik memberikan dampak positif dalam bergaul dan menentukan sikap untuk mengambil tindakan yang terukur. Kesehatan jiwa perlu dilatih sejak dini. Pembelajaran mata pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak disekolah merupakan matapelajaran yang berkaitan dengan pembentukan kesadaran guna melatih kesehatan jiwa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh pembelajaran matapelajaran aqidah akhlak dengan kesehatan jiwa siswi kelas 7 di MTs KHA Wahid Hasyim bangil.
