Jurnal Ngejha is a Community Service Journal published by the IAI Al-Khairat Pamekasan Institute for Research and Community Service with E-ISSN: 2962-9691. Ngejha is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes scientific articles from various disciplines that are adopted in various community service activities and other applied research, and is published in October and April each year. Articles published in NGEJHA cover innovative research results and critically examine emerging issues, trends, challenges, and opportunities as well as reports on community service results in general, using methods such as PAR (Participatory Action Research), ABCD (Asset Based Community Development), CBR (Community Based Research), Service Learning, Community Development, and other methodologies.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the teaching factory program at SMKs Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata which begins with the planning of production facilities and the preparation of qualified educators. Collaboration with the surrounding community and alumni plays a crucial role in the procurement of raw materials and product distribution. Weekly evaluations are carried out to monitor the development of student competencies and identify obstacles in the implementation of the program. The findings show that students' involvement in the process of processing, packaging, and marketing products directly has fostered a strong entrepreneurial mentality, motivating them to become self-employed after graduation. The significance of this program is evidenced by the increase in the absorption of graduates in the world of work by up to 30% over the past three years. The results of the study indicate that the teaching factory learning model is an effective approach in preparing vocational school graduates who are competitive and ready to enter the job market and develop independent businesses.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to raise parental awareness of their role as the first agents of moral education in children. Conducted through an educational seminar in Plakpak Village, Pegantenan District, Pamekasan Regency, the program implemented a Participatory Action Research (PAR) model to explore and address issues surrounding moral decline among students. The seminar provided insights on parenting approaches, character education, and moral development in children. Results showed a strong interest from parents in understanding moral education and the importance of collaboration between families and educational institutions. Despite limited attendance, the activity succeeded in promoting constructive dialogue and awareness on parenting practices that support character development.

Abstract

Creative class activities for 9 migrant children at SB AT-TANZIL Kampung Lindungan aim to motivate, develop children's creativity, and manage money properly and correctly. From this activity, it is hoped that children will be able to organize which items are useful and which items they want, as well as increase awareness of the surrounding environment. The method used in this activity is lecture and direct practice. The results of this activity show that children do not just learn about the value of saving, but also gain an understanding of the importance of recycling and environmental conservation. Children learn about patience and perseverance in collecting money little by little and feel satisfaction when they see their savings grow.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of local traditions as a medium for children's character education in indigenous communities and formulate effective revitalization strategies during globalization challenges. With an ethnographic qualitative approach, the research was conducted through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with indigenous stakeholders, parents, and children, and analysis of related documents in various indigenous communities in Indonesia. The results of the study revealed that local traditions such as rituals, folklore, and traditional games contain important character values such as honesty, cooperation, and respect for nature. However, its effectiveness as an educational medium faces challenges due to global cultural penetration and a lack of institutional support. The study's key findings suggest that revitalizing local traditions requires an adaptive approach that blends traditional wisdom with contemporary innovation. Communities that successfully maintain the relevance of traditions generally develop strategies such as integration with formal education, the use of digital media, and intergenerational approaches in knowledge transmission. The study also identified three factors that determine success: (1) the active involvement of the young generation in the revitalization process, (2) adequate policy support, and (3) flexibility in traditional methods of conveying values. The results of this study make an important contribution to the development of a character education model based on local wisdom that remains relevant in the modern era, while offering a conceptual framework to combine cultural preservation with contemporary educational needs.

Abstract

Kesenjangan pemahaman keagamaan di tingkat komunitas akar rumput, khususnya dalam aspek fikih ibadah dan kewanitaan, masih menjadi tantangan serius dalam pemberdayaan perempuan Muslim. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman fikih ibadah dan kewanitaan ibu-ibu Muslimah di Desa Seddur, Kecamatan Pakong, Kabupaten Pamekasan melalui pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR). Pendekatan ini memungkinkan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam seluruh proses mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga refleksi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pembinaan tematik, simulasi, diskusi kelompok, dan penyusunan modul kontekstual berbasis pengalaman peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman peserta terkait thaharah, wudu, tayamum, salat, haid, nifas, dan istihadhah. Peserta tidak hanya mampu memahami teori, tetapi juga mempraktikkan ibadah secara tepat sesuai tuntunan fikih mazhab Syafi’i. Selain itu, pengabdian ini membentuk ruang belajar yang aman dan inklusif bagi perempuan, mengurangi kesenjangan literasi keagamaan, serta mendorong lahirnya komunitas pengajian kecil berbasis lokal. Evaluasi formatif dan sumatif menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rasa percaya diri peserta dalam menjalankan ibadah dan membimbing anggota keluarga. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif berbasis komunitas mampu menghadirkan solusi yang aplikatif, relevan, dan berkelanjutan dalam konteks pemberdayaan keagamaan perempuan di desa. Hasil ini dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain dengan tantangan serupa sebagai model pengabdian yang transformatif.

Abstract

Fenomena melemahnya nilai-nilai spiritual di kalangan pelajar akibat derasnya arus globalisasi dan digitalisasi menimbulkan keprihatinan dalam dunia pendidikan. Terutama pada institusi kejuruan, seperti SMK Kesehatan, tantangan pendidikan karakter menjadi semakin kompleks, mengingat siswa dituntut untuk memiliki kecakapan profesional sekaligus integritas moral dan spiritual. Penelitian pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menguatkan karakter spiritual siswa melalui kegiatan pendampingan istiqosah dan sholat dhuha secara rutin di SMK Kesehatan Bakti Indonesia Merdeka (BIM) Ngawi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif-kolaboratif dengan model action-based community service, melibatkan guru, siswa, dan tim pendamping dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Proses pelaksanaan dilakukan selama satu bulan setiap hari Jumat pukul 07.00 WIB, dengan agenda utama zikir, doa bersama, dan sholat dhuha berjamaah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami peningkatan dalam dimensi disiplin ibadah, kesadaran spiritual, serta perilaku empati dan sopan santun dalam interaksi sosial. Guru dan pihak sekolah juga mencatat terjadinya perubahan atmosfer kelas yang lebih kondusif dan penuh keteladanan. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan spiritual berbasis kebiasaan positif mampu memperkuat karakter siswa secara holistik. Rekomendasi diberikan agar program ini dijadikan pembiasaan mingguan dan diintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum muatan lokal atau kegiatan intrakurikuler.

Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan Al-Qur’an di tingkat desa masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, terutama dalam ketersediaan bahan ajar yang terintegrasi dan mudah dipahami. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di Desa Karang Anyar, Kecamatan Proppo, Kabupaten Pamekasan melalui penyusunan dan distribusi buku panduan yang memuat materi fiqih dasar, tajwid, dan Juz 'Amma. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari observasi awal, penyusunan bahan ajar kolaboratif, uji coba lapangan, serta pelatihan penggunaan buku kepada para guru TPQ dan santri. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa buku panduan ini mampu membantu proses belajar mengajar menjadi lebih terstruktur, menarik, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan lokal. Respon positif dari para pendidik dan santri menunjukkan bahwa integrasi materi fiqih, tajwid, dan hafalan Al-Qur’an dalam satu buku memberikan kemudahan dalam pembelajaran dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Diharapkan program ini dapat menjadi model peningkatan kualitas pendidikan Al-Qur’an berbasis komunitas di Proppo Pamekasan

Abstract

Environmental awareness in early childhood is important because it helps instill a sense of love and responsibility for nature from an early age, forms a character that cares about the environment until adulthood, and becomes the foundation for the creation of a more sustainable future. By instilling this awareness, children will better understand the importance of maintaining the cleanliness and sustainability of the surrounding environment. Children play an important role in shaping a generation that cares about environmental sustainability. At an early age, their curiosity is very high and they tend to absorb information quickly. This is the right time to introduce the values of caring for nature and how they can play a role in protecting it. Instilling a sense of responsibility from a young age is very important so that children get used to doing simple things that have a positive impact on the environment. When they understand why taking care of nature is important, they will be motivated to act, even from small things. In addition, good habits such as throwing garbage in its place, saving water, and using energy wisely should also be formed early. This habit will become part of their lifestyle until adulthood and also support environmental conservation efforts.
