Abstract

This study investigates the influence of work motivation and job flexibility on the performance of GrabBike drivers in Cirebon City. The research emphasizes how intrinsic drive and flexible work arrangements affect service quality and operational outcomes in the gig economy. The research was conducted on 290 GrabBike drivers in Cirebon using a quantitative approach with an associative method. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire. The sampling technique used was incidental sampling. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 25.0, applying validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, and F-tests to examine the influence of each variable. Results indicated that work motivation and job flexibility both positively and significantly affect GrabBike driver performance, both individually and simultaneously. The combination of intrinsic motivation and flexible work rhythms enhances performance, confirming that these variables play a crucial role and contribute to theory and practice in gig economy human resource management. The study concludes that the synergy between intrinsic motivation and flexible work conditions fosters optimal performance among GrabBike drivers, reinforcing the importance of human resource strategies tailored to the gig economy. This study only covers drivers operating in Cirebon and uses self-reported data, which may be subject to bias or limited generalizability to other regions or platforms. This study contributes to human resource management by demonstrating the pivotal role of motivation and flexibility in digital labor platforms. Its findings benefit platform managers, HR practitioners, and researchers in labor economics and organizational behavior..

Abstract

Social transformation in Indonesia is closely linked to the dynamics of urbanization and modernization, which have intensified over the past two decades. Urbanization has led to structural changes across economic, social, and cultural dimensions, including the emergence of new urban areas, shifts in family structures, and changes in societal values and identity. This study aims to examine how urbanization and modernization shape patterns of social transformation in Indonesia through a systematic literature review and secondary data analysis from official reports and recent academic publications. The findings indicate that urbanization produces ambivalent implications: on one hand, it creates opportunities for economic growth and global integration; on the other, it exacerbates social inequality, marginalization, and cultural challenges. Modernization, accelerated through infrastructure development and the relocation of the national capital, highlights the complex relationship between social transformation and development policies. These findings are expected to contribute to the discourse on sustainable and inclusive urban development in Indonesia.

Abstract

Polusi udara merupakan salah satu permasalahan lingkungan yang paling mendesak di wilayah perkotaan, khususnya di Desa Cibarusah Jaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja lingkungan rocket stove dalam mengurangi polusi udara outdoor di Desa Cibarusah Jaya. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, studi ini menganalisis efektivitas rocket stove sebagai alternatif teknologi pembakaran yang lebih bersih dibandingkan dengan kompor tradisional. Penelitian dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam dengan pengguna, dan analisis dokumentasi di Desa Cibarusah Jaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi rocket stove mampu mengurangi emisi partikulat dan gas berbahaya hingga 60-80% dibandingkan dengan kompor kayu tradisional. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja meliputi desain combustion chamber, kualitas bahan bakar, dan perilaku pengguna. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk pengembangan kebijakan dan program implementasi rocket stove sebagai solusi teknologi tepat guna untuk mengatasi masalah polusi udara di Desa Cibarusah Jaya.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The low level of students' mathematical literacy remains a significant challenge in the current era of globalization, requiring effective educational solutions. This study aims to determine: (1) the quality of learning through the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model with a realistic mathematics approach assisted by GeoGebra; (2) the influence of curiosity on mathematical literacy in the learning model; and (3) a description of mathematical literacy viewed from the level of students' curiosity. This study uses a mix method approach with a sequential explanatory design. The study population was grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Mojosongo with samples selected using cluster random sampling techniques. Research subjects were taken through purposive sampling from students from the experimental class representing high, medium, and low curiosity categories. Data collection techniques include tests, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis was carried out through statistical tests, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results (1) met the criteria for quality learning, namely an average validation of learning tools of 91%, literacy questions 82.3%, questionnaires 86.6%, interview guidelines 93.3%, teacher observation sheets 92.2%, student responses 93.3%, teacher observation sheets 89.87% and student responses 74.35% with good criteria, the experimental class's mastery test reached KKTP 71 at 89%, the mastery test obtained z = 1.831, the average difference test for mathematical literacy obtained t = 3.397, the difference test for proportions z = 3.023, (2) There is an influence of curiosity on mathematical literacy of 56%, (3) Students with high curiosity meet all the literacy indicators studied, the medium category meets four indicators and low meets two indicators.   Keywords: GeoGebra, Mathematical Literacy, Realistic Mathematics Approach, Problem-Based Learning, Curiosity   ABSTRAK Rendahnya tingkat literasi matematika peserta didik masih menjadi tantangan signifikan di era globalisasi saat ini, sehingga diperlukan solusi pendidikan yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) kualitas pembelajaran melalui model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) berpendekatan matematika realistik berbantuan GeoGebra; (2) pengaruh rasa ingin tahu terhadap literasi matematika dalam model pembelajaran tersebut; dan (3) deskripsi literasi matematika ditinjau dari tingkat rasa ingin tahu peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mix method dengan desain sequential explanatory. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Mojosongo dengan sampel yang dipilih melalui teknik cluster random sampling. Subjek penelitian di ambil melalui purposive sampling dari peserta didik dari kelas eksperimen yang mewakili kategori rasa ingin tahu tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes, angket, dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji statistik, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian (1) memenuhi kriteria pembelajaran berkualitas yaitu diperoleh rata-rata validasi perangkat pembelajaran 91%, soal literasi 82,3%, angket 86,6%, pedoman wawancara 93,3%, lembar observasi guru 92,2%, respon peserta didik 93,3%, lembar pengamatan guru 89,87% dan respon peserta didik 74,35% dengan kriteria baik, uji ketuntasan kelas eksperimen mencapai KKTP 71 sebesar 89%, uji ketuntasan diperoleh z=1,831, uji beda rata-rata literasi matematika diperoleh t=3,397, uji beda proporsi z=3,023, (2) Terdapat pengaruh  rasa ingin tahu terhadap literasi matematika sebesar 56%, (3) Peserta didik dengan rasa ingin tahu tinggi memenuhi seluruh indikator literasi yang diteliti, kategori sedang  memenuhi empat indikator dan rendah memenuhi dua indikator

Abstract

This article discusses the relationship between Islam and logic through a qualitative approach, highlighting the concept of logic in Islamic theology and its role as a reasoning tool in Islamic philosophy. The research reveals how logic contributes to the development of Islamic law (fiqh) and facilitates dialog between Islamic thought and other intellectual traditions. By analyzing various perspectives, this article shows that logic is not only a tool of analysis, but also a bridge to understand and interpret Islamic teachings more deeply. Through this approach, it is hoped to strengthen the understanding of the importance of logic in religious and intellectual contexts

Abstract

This thesis explores the psychological dimensions of optimism and pessimism in the character of Stella Grant from the film Five Feet Apart (2019). Utilizing Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic theory and concepts from positive and negative psychology, the research investigates how Stella’s optimistic and pessimistic traits influence her emotional growth and relationships while navigating life with cystic fibrosis. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method to analyze Stella’s coping mechanisms, emotional conflicts, and moments of resilience in the face of adversity. Through an in-depth examination of narrative structure, dialogue, and character development, this research provides insights into how psychological traits shape human experiences and enrich the storytelling of films. By bridging literature, film, and psychology, the findings contribute to a deeper understanding of how contrasting worldviews impact individual growth and foster emotional connections in challenging circumstances

Abstract

Pengembangan produk kerupuk kerang sebagai salah satu potensi unggulan UMKM nelayan di Desa Sidamukti, Kecamatan Sukaresmi, Kabupaten Pandeglang. UMKM merupakan pilar yang paling penting dalam bidang ekonomi. UMKM yaitu usaha ekonomi produktif yang dimiliki oleh perorangan maupun badan usaha (Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 20 Tahun, 2008). Sebagai salah satu peran masyarakat dalam pembangunan nasional maka UMKM dapat mengambil bagian dalam pembangunan ekonomi. UMKM ini berperan sangat penting bagi para pelaku usaha untuk meningkatkan nilai jual, dan mengembangkan usaha, Kerupuk kerang menjadi contoh bagaimana masyarakat setempat berinovasi dengan mengolah hasil laut menjadi produk bernilai ekonomi. Produk ini tidak hanya memberikan nilai tambah, tetapi juga membuka peluang penghasilan tambahan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan secara langsung di lingkungan Desa Sidamukti untuk mengetahui kondisi UMKM kerupuk kerrang, proses produksi serta peluang pemasaran yang ada di desa tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan penilaian otentik dalam keterampilan menulis pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP Negeri 23 Takengon. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan guru Bahasa Indonesia, observasi pembelajaran, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan penilaian otentik dalam keterampilan menulis di SMP Negeri 23 Takengon telah dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan berbagai instrumen, seperti penilaian proyek, penilaian portofolio, dan penilaian kinerja. Guru berupaya memberikan umpan balik secara langsung terhadap hasil tulisan siswa serta melibatkan siswa dalam proses penilaian melalui refleksi diri. Namun, pelaksanaan penilaian otentik masih menghadapi beberapa kendala yaitu peserta didik kurang aktif dan keterbatasan waktu. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan penilaian otentik dalam pembelajaran menulis Bahasa Indonesia di SMP Negeri 23 Takengon cukup efektif meskipun masih memerlukan peningkatan dalam aspek pelaksanaan.

Abstract

"A Comparison of the Use of Textbooks and Digital Media to Improve Understanding of Drama Material." This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 15 Takengon with eighth-grade students. The aim of this study is to identify the comparison between the use of textbooks and digital media in teaching drama material, as well as to determine the effectiveness of each media type. This research employed a quantitative method with an experimental approach. The research design used was a pretest-posttest experimental design with two groups: experimental group 1 and experimental group 2. Based on data description and t-test analysis, both classes showed significant differences, indicating a variance in the effectiveness of using textbooks versus digital media for drama material. The results showed that digital media was more effective than textbooks in enhancing students’ understanding of drama. Through questionnaires and written tests, it was revealed that students found digital media to be more effective than textbooks in improving their comprehension of drama material.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Leader Humility on Withdrawal Behavior with Interpersonal Justice as a moderating variable at PT. Saung Bukit Ajimut, a fast food restaurant in Cirebon Regency. The research approach used was quantitative with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees, then analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the help of SPSS. The results showed that Leader Humility had a negative and significant effect on Withdrawal Behavior. The higher the leader's humility, the lower the tendency of employees to display withdrawal behavior such as lateness, absenteeism, and decreased work motivation. However, the Interpersonal Justice variable was not proven to be able to moderate the relationship between Leader Humility and Withdrawal Behavior. This indicates that the perception of interpersonal justice is not strong enough to strengthen the influence of leader humility because the restaurant's work dynamics are more influenced by structural factors such as workload and reward systems. This study recommends companies to strengthen the consistency of humble leadership practices, manage workloads fairly, improve two-way communication forums, and integrate interpersonal justice with reward systems so that employee withdrawal behavior can be suppressed sustainably.
