Abstract

The Class IV Teaching Campus Program from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia provides opportunities for students to broaden their horizons and gain experience in supporting the teaching and learning process in elementary schools. This service activity was carried out at SD Negeri 163 Tellulimpoe, Wajo Regency, and the object of research was the implementation of the Teaching Campus program at the school. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. This program includes implementing teaching and learning activities, introducing learning technology to teachers, as well as assisting teachers in providing and completing learning administration

Abstract

This fourth generation teaching campus is one form of implementing MBKM in the form of teaching assistance in educational units to empower students to help with 4 important aspects in elementary schools and junior high schools, namely helping to improve literacy and numeracy, administrative assistance, and assistance with technology adaptation. The implementation of the fourth generation teaching campus program was carried out at SD Negeri 40 Maccope which is located in Maccope Village, Awangpone District, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi Province, which was carried out from August to December 2022. The Teaching Campus Team at SD Negeri 40 Maccope itself consisted of six people and in accompanied by a field supervisor. In making the Teaching Campus agenda a success, the Teaching Campus Team at SD NEGERI 40 MACCOPE focuses on four main programs, namely, Adaptation of Technology for Teachers and Students, Tutoring (Literacy and Numeracy), Implementation of Ceria Gymnastics and Procurement of Porseni. All assistance has been implemented and received a positive response from teachers and the local community

Abstract

The Teaching Campus is part of the learning and teaching activities in the basic education unit of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program which aims to provide opportunities for students to learn and develop themselves through activities outside the classroom. The Teaching Campus Program at UPT SDN 205 Padang Loang consists of several activities, namely debriefing, fielding, observation and program planning. In general, the Teaching Campus activities at UPT SDN 205 Padang Loang were carried out well and smoothly, as can be seen from the activities that have been carried out such as helping with teaching activities (literacy and numeracy), helping with technology adaptation (providing technology classes and optimizing learning media), helping with administration (healthy Friday movement activities, making class posters, and improving classes), as well as other collaborative action programs (religious activities, English classes, achievement stars, flag ceremony training, scouting, Sports and Arts Week, and independence competition activities)

Abstract

The Independent Campus Teaching and Learning Campus Program (MBKM) is one of the programs organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture. One of the schools targeted by the Teaching Campus program is SD Negeri 69 Itterung which is located in Tokebo Hamlet, Itterung Village, Tellu Siattingnge District, Bone Regency. Abstract

Indonesia, with more than 1,340 ethnic groups, has abundant cultural wealth, including various traditional dances. One that stands out from South Sulawesi is Paduppa Dance, a distinctive cultural expression of the Bugis people. Originally performed to welcome kings and grand guests at weddings, Paduppa Dance is now also performed in various events such as welcoming guests, circumcisions, and weddings. However, the threat of modernization and globalization risks threatening the preservation of this dance, highlighting the importance of preservation efforts to maintain this cultural heritage. This study aims to preserve Paduppa Dance through training conducted by Batch IV KKN students of Muhammadiyah Bone University in Sanrangeng Village. The method used was action research, with training conducted for three days a week from August 22 to September 4, 2024. The training involved 15 students from SDN 97 Sanrangeng and SD Inpres 6/80 Sanrangeng. The results of the training showed significant improvement in students' skills and understanding of Paduppa Dance. Before the training, students did not know the dance movements, adjustments to music, and cultural functions of Paduppa dance. After the training, students successfully mastered the dance movements, understood the meaning of the dance, and realized the importance of preserving traditional dance. The program proved effective in addressing threats to the preservation of Paduppa Dance and preparing students for various cultural events, as well as deepening their appreciation of Bugis cultural heritage

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Arab dari masa ke masa senantiasa mengalami polemik yang naik turun. Beberapa pendekatan, metode, dan teknik yang digunakan juga sangat bervariasi dan berjalin kelindan antara satu dengan yang lainnya. Pada salah satu yayasan sosial yang terletak di kec. Somba Opu, Kab. Gowa, yaitu Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak (LKSA) Nur Hikmah, pengabdi menemukan adanya kejanggalan anak-anak yatim piatu di sana yang mana maharah al kalam dalam praktik berbahasa Arab masih di bawah standar. Masih ada beberapa anak ditemukan kurangnya wawasan mereka terkait bahasa Arab, khususnya maharah al-kalam. Bahkan kosa kata yang familiar seperti ةروبس ،ةوسنلق ،ملق, banyak tidak diketahui. Hal itu memicu pengabdi untuk mengadakan pelatihan maharah al-kalam dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Tujuan program pengabdian ini yaitu terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan anak-anak dalam maharah al-kalam, sementara metode yang digunakan yaitu Direct Method. Setelah diadakannya pelatihan ini terjadi peningkatan dalam keterampilan al-kalam dengan memakai bahasa Arab bagi anak-anak LKSA tersebut. Banyak wawasan, termasuk kosa kata bahasa Arab yang sudah didapatkan, ditulis dan dihafalkannya. Ada juga yang bisa mempraktikkannya dengan teman temannya. Semoga pengetahuan bahasa Arab tersebut bisa diterapkan secara kontinu di lembaga

Abstract

Bahasa Arab mempunyai empat keterampilan berbahasa, salah satunya ialah maharah al-kalam. Keterampilan ini menjadi hal yang mutlak dikuasai oleh setiap pembelajar bahasa Arab, karena esensi utama dari suatu bahasa ialah untuk berkomunikasi. Di TPA Jannatul Qur’an, Kel. Samata, Kec. Somba Opu pengabdi menemukan adanya kejanggalan anak-anak TPA yang mana kemampuan dalam praktik berbahasa Arab masih di bawah standar. Ada beberapa anak ditemukan kurangnya wawasan mereka terkait maharah al-kalam. Padahal untuk bisa berbahasa Arab dengan baik, maka seorang pembelajar harus menguasai maharah al-kalam yang ditopang oleh penguasaan kosakata dengan baik. Di TPA tersebut, pengabdi mencatat bahwa kosakata kosakata dasar seperti ةذفان ،ةروبس ،مأ ،بأ ، ،باتك ،ملق, banyak yang tidak diketahui. Kejadian itu memicu pengabdi untuk mengadakan pelatihan bahasa Arab dengan waktu kurang lebih 6 bulan. Pelatihan pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan metode Student Centered Learning tersebut akan dilaksanakan secara konsisten. Setelah dilaksanakan pelatihan ini terjadi peningkatan dalam Maharah al-kalam dengan menggunakan bahasa Arab bagi anak-anak TPA Jannatul Qur’an tersebut. Beberapa pengetahuan, khususnya kosakata bahasa Arab sudah banyak diketahui oleh anak-anak. Sebagian dari mereka bisa mempraktikkannya dengan teman-temannya ketika pembelajaran berlangsung. Jadi bisa dikatakan metode SCL berhasil dalam meningkatkan maharah al-kalam bagi anak-anak TPA di sana. Semoga cakrawala dan wawasan terkait bahasa Arab tersebut bisa diterapkan secara istiqomah di TPA tersebut.

Abstract

Kewirausahaan merupakan salah satu solusi strategis dalam mengatasi pengangguran di kalangan pemuda, terutama di pedesaan. Karang Taruna sebagai organisasi kepemudaan memiliki potensi besar untuk menjadi motor penggerak ekonomi lokal, namun seringkali belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain dan melaksanakan pelatihan kewirausahaan berbasis potensi lokal bagi anggota Karang Taruna di Desa Pattallikang, Kecamatan Manuju, Kabupaten Gowa. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan bersifat partisipatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, meliputi identifikasi peluang usaha, perencanaan bisnis sederhana, pengelolaan keuangan dasar, dan strategi pemasaran digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam kewirausahaan sebanyak 80%, serta munculnya beberapa ide usaha yang siap dikembangkan secara mandiri. Pelatihan ini memberikan dampak positif tidak hanya pada aspek individu, tetapi juga pada penguatan peran Karang Taruna sebagai agen pemberdayaan ekonomi desa.

Abstract

Digital transformation has brought artificial intelligence (AI) into various sectors, including education. In this context, teachers are expected not only to understand the teaching content but also to utilize technology in a critical and contextual manner. This community service activity was carried out in collaboration with Economics teachers who are members of the MGMP (Subject Teacher Forum) across South Sulawesi, aiming to explore the integration of AI in education. Using an Action Research (AR) approach, the program included basic AI concept training, prompt development workshops, and hands-on practice in creating AI-assisted teaching materials. The teachers actively engaged in designing learning content using tools such as ChatGPT, Notion AI, and Canva AI. Reflection and group discussions were integral parts of the collaborative learning process. The results show that the teachers were able to utilize AI technology in a contextual and creative way when developing instructional materials, and they demonstrated readiness to face the evolving landscape of educational technology.

Abstract

Access to information about study opportunities abroad, including scholarships and application requirements, is still uneven, especially in the regencies of South Sulawesi. This situation has resulted in a lack of preparedness among prospective applicants and a low number of international scholarship recipients from the region. Therefore, community service activities in the form of Fulbright scholarship socialization and academic essay writing workshops were held to provide information to students and the general public about opportunities to continue their studies. This activity also aimed to equip participants with the skills to write study objectives and personal statements, which are among the application requirements. The activity involved 116 participants who registered online and onsite, with a series of events including an opening ceremony, scholarship information presentation, and essay writing workshop. The results of this activity showed that participants were enthusiastic and actively responded by asking questions during each information session and providing answers when filling out the post-event feedback form. A total of 70% of participants stated that this activity was very good and provided useful information about further study scholarships and academic essay writing as one of the scholarship requirements.
