Abstract

Sport is a form of physical and psychological activity, which involves body movement. The Padang Loang Cup is a forum for the sports interests and talents of the people of Padang Loang Village. The aim is as an event to increase the sense of kinship, friendship and cohesiveness between the community and students of KKN UIN Alauddin Makassar posko 11 wave 74, in Padang Loang Village. The results of the Padang Loang Cup competition won the overall winner, namely Palita Hamlet.

Abstract

The golden age of early childhood is a critical period for establishing a foundation in intellectual and health understanding, including sex education. According to Article 28 Paragraph 1 of Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, sex education for young children is crucial for advancing the intellectual development of the younger generation. However, observations at Aisyiyah Kindergarten in Makassar City revealed that sex education had never been provided, resulting in a lack of understanding among students. To address this issue, a Community Service activity was conducted at Aisyiyah Kindergarten using robotics-based learning technology, including robot voices, songs, images in PowerPoint format, and teaching books. This program aims to enhance students' knowledge and understanding of sex education through interactive and enjoyable learning methods. Pre-test results showed only 24.4% correct answers from 18 participants, while post-test results after five days of learning showed a significant increase to 88.2% correct answers from 22 participants. These results indicate that the use of robotics technology in education can effectively increase students' learning interest and understanding. This program is expected to serve as a learning model that can be applied in various early childhood education institutions to improve the quality of education and children's understanding in the aspect of sex education

Abstract

CV. Mockerz Apparel Industries is a plain t-shirt specialist experienced since 2012, continues to grow and produce quality products to meet customer needs. The current problem is related to customer information services. Lack of media to disseminate product-related information can reduce customer reach. With the available technology, it is possible to implement a system that can help disseminate information to make it easier for customers to obtain product-related information. By looking at the existing conditions and realities, the author implemented and provided training on the Chatbot customer service information system to solve the problems described earlier. The system was developed using the DevOps (development and operations) method, including several phases: plan, develop, build, test, operate, and monitor). Implementation activities used tutorial methods and technical assistance. The activity was successful, and CV Mockerz Apparel staff as partners also participated until the end of the activity. The partner's perception of the community service activity was beneficial because the chatbot system developed was very suitable for them to implement.

Abstract

The Taulan Village Library has been revitalized to overcome challenges such as limited book collections and inadequate physical conditions. The Community Service Program (KKNP) was used to improve the library's function as a center for information and literacy. The approach involved qualitative methods such as interviews, observations, and documentation to assess the library's condition and the community's needs. The initiative resulted in an expanded book collection, physical renovations, and the organization of digital and information literacy workshops, which significantly enhanced the reading and writing skills of the community, especially students. The study concludes that revitalization not only restores the library's function but also empowers the community to sustainably improve literacy skills. The reopening of the library is expected to attract new visitors and strengthen its role as a learning center. It is crucial for the government and community to provide ongoing support for the management and development of the library in the future.

Abstract

The majority of the people of Benteng Tellue Village (Amali District) keep dogs as pets in their homes and it is a habit to carry them when farming in the fields and also use them to hunt wild pigs. One thing that is of common concern is that the public still lacks information about rabies and the prevention efforts that can be taken. Therefore, rabies training activities are an appropriate means to directly meet and conduct questions and answers with the community in Benteng Tellue Village, Amali District, Bone Regency. The community is expected to share and disseminate information to other family members. The results of the activity showed an increase in public knowledge after education was carried out regarding preventing rabies in dogs. Increasing public understanding about rabies is very necessary through training methods.

Abstract

It is crucial to start teaching English to children at a young age because of how important it is to learn it. In practice, English is not an easy language to teach to elementary school students. There are several main reasons why English is difficult to teach, the first is that English words and sentences are difficult to pronounce because they are written and pronounced differently. In addition, the lack of teacher skills in terms of mastering teaching techniques and methods makes students less interested in learning English. The problems faced by children in Bawasalo Village are the lack of mastery of vocabulary and correct pronunciation so that they have low English quality. The purpose of this service is to provide English language training through songs and games for children in Bawasalo Village, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi. The method of implementing this service is in the form of English song pronunciation and games that are suitable for elementary school children. The results of this activity show that children are more enthusiastic about learning English through games and songs. In fact, children can also easily master new vocabulary and good pronunciation

Abstract

Inovasi Mahasiswa KKN Profesi bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat kunjungan Mahasiswa ke UPT. Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Enrekang. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi untuk mengevaluasi kondisi perpustakaan dan kebutuhan mahasiswa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mencakup peningkatan koleksi buku digital yang berbentuk e-book, pengadaaan poster, persiapan repository dan mengaktifkan akun media sosial perpustakaan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa inovasi mahasiswa KKN Profesi bertujuan untuk dapat meningkatkan minat kunjung mahasiswa ke UPT. Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Enrekang. Perpustakaan diharapkan dapat menarik minat kunjungan mahasiswa dan memperkuat perannya sebagai pusat belajar. Keterlibatan lebih lanjut dari pustakawan dan mahasiswa sangat penting untuk mendukung pengembangan perpustakaan di masa mendatang.

Abstract

The innovation of KKN Profesi students aims to increase the interest of students visiting the UPT Library of Muhammadiyah University of Enrekang The method used is a qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and documentation to evaluate the condition of the library and the needs of students. The results of this activity include increasing the collection of digital books in the form of e-books, procuring posters, preparing repositories and activating the library's social media accounts. The conclusion of this study shows that the innovation of KKN Profesi students aims to increase the interest of students visiting the UPT Library of Muhammadiyah University of Enrekang The library is expected to attract student visits and strengthen its role as a learning center. Further involvement of librarians and students is very important to support the development of the library in the future.

Abstract

English is often perceived as a difficult and boring subject, which can lead students to become indifferent and unmotivated to learn it. This issue is also prevalent among the students of class III IPS at MA Darussalam Barandasi. On the other hand, spending time on social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat is one of their favorite pastimes. These students often spend hours on these platforms daily, with little to no benefit for their studies. A team of lecturers from the English Education Department and students from the KEMAL program at FKIP Universitas Muslim Maros recognized this as a problem that needed a solution. A creative and effective approach was required—one that could combine both interests into a meaningful and beneficial activity. As a result, a service program was developed with the aim of boosting students’ motivation to learn English through the use of social media applications. The outcomes of this initiative were very promising. Students responded positively, with enthusiasm and excitement, to the idea of learning English via social media. They began following several educational accounts, carefully engaging with content related to English learning materials. This content was then studied and practiced effectively. Students also agreed that using social media made English learning sessions more enjoyable, which in turn motivated them to engage with the subject with greater enthusiasm.

Abstract

egiatan ini mengusung tema seminar kewirausahaan dengan tujuan meningkatkan inovasi dan pendapatan masyarakat desa Bowong Cindea melalui Seminar Kewirausahaan. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada 5 Februari 2025. Fokus utama kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kreativitas masyarakat melalui kewirausahaan, sehingga dapat berdampak pada peningkatan pendapatan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi tim pengabdian, tingkat kreativitas masyarakat masih tergolong rendah, karena mereka lebih berfokus pada hasil pertanian”. Tim menginisiasi seminar kewirausahaan sebagai salah satu metode dalam Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan warga dalam mengembangkan usaha mandiri. Penyampaian materi dilakukan secara menarik dan mudah dipahami. Metode ini diterapkan agar peserta lebih aktif, termasuk diskusi kelompok. Berdasarkan hasil survei sebelum dan sesudah seminar, terdapat peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang konsep kewirausahaan, strategi bisnis, serta pentingnya inovasi dalam usaha. Sebelum seminar, sebagian besar peserta masih memiliki pandangan terbatas mengenai peluang usaha di luar sektor pertanian. Beberapa peserta mulai merancang ide usaha berbasis sumber daya lokal, seperti pembuatan produk olahan dari hasil pertanian dan kerajinan tangan
