Abstract

This study analyzes the strengthening of community human resource capacity in rural waste management through the application of plastic waste conversion technology to support the transition toward a circular economy in Grobogan Regency. The program integrated educational interventions, technical demonstrations of pyrolysis-based systems, and institutional facilitation to enhance sustainable waste governance at the village level. Empirical findings indicate increased community understanding of circular economy principles, improved technical knowledge of plastic-to-fuel conversion processes, and greater willingness to participate in technology-based waste management practices. The intervention also encouraged the formation of community waste management groups and strengthened local government support for program sustainability. Behavioral shifts were reflected in the changing perception of plastic waste from environmental burden to economically valuable resource. These outcomes demonstrate that participatory technology adoption can enhance institutional readiness and support decentralized waste-to-energy implementation in rural communities.

Abstract

Rural communities frequently encounter structural challenges related to limited educational access, declining social participation, and weakened community institutions. This study examines a community empowerment initiative implemented in Wedegan Hamlet, Sambikerep Village, Nganjuk Regency, Indonesia, focusing on the integration of education and religious programs as instruments of social transformation. The program adopted a Participatory Action Research (PAR) framework that positioned community members as active collaborators in identifying local challenges, designing interventions, and implementing solutions. Program activities included the revitalization of mosque-based religious programs, non-formal educational tutoring for children, women’s counseling and empowerment initiatives, and youth engagement through tambourine-based religious arts training. Empirical evaluation was conducted through participatory observation, informal interviews, and continuous monitoring of participation patterns among program beneficiaries. The findings indicate measurable improvements in community participation in religious activities, stronger parental involvement in supporting children’s learning, and increased youth engagement in collaborative cultural activities. These outcomes illustrate how integrated educational and socio-religious initiatives can strengthen social cohesion, enhance community participation, and stimulate grassroots social transformation in rural contexts. The study highlights the importance of participatory empowerment approaches in fostering sustainable community development.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of a TikTok-based promotional strategy for a small and medium enterprise (SME), Smoothies PasMaling, within the context of community engagement activities. Employing a qualitative participatory approach, the program involved intensive mentoring, direct observation, and iterative content development to enhance digital marketing capabilities. The findings reveal that structured visual content emphasizing product authenticity effectively attracts audience attention, while the integration of operational information such as location and schedule improves accessibility and consumer interaction. The study further identifies a significant increase in audience engagement, including active communication and user-generated responses, which contributes to the formation of positive electronic word of mouth. These dynamics translate into measurable business outcomes, including increased sales volume, broader market reach, and improved customer loyalty. In addition, the intervention strengthens the partner’s capacity to independently manage digital marketing strategies. The study highlights the importance of aligning creative content, interactive communication, and data-driven adaptation in developing sustainable digital promotion strategies for SMEs in the platform-based economy.

Abstract

This study examines the development of visual brand identity for MSMEs through a non-empirical experimental design approach, focusing on strategic planning and the production of visual artifacts as solutions to branding challenges. The case study of Kue Cincin Mpo Wida reveals initial inconsistencies in visual elements, lack of content structure, and weak brand representation on digital platforms. The intervention involved the formulation of a structured visual system based on content pillars, supported by the integration of digital and physical media to enhance brand coherence across multiple touchpoints. The results indicate that the implementation of a systematic visual identity not only improves aesthetic consistency but also transforms communication practices into more strategic and organized processes. Furthermore, the developed system functions as an operational guideline that enables business actors to manage branding activities independently and sustainably. The findings highlight that design-driven branding contributes to strengthening managerial capacity, fostering brand awareness, and supporting long-term competitiveness of MSMEs in digital environments.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of progressive mobilization on blood pressure changes in stroke patients admitted to the intensive care unit of RSUD Limpung. An empirical case study design with a one-group pretest–posttest approach was applied to five patients who met the inclusion criteria of hemodynamic stability and clinical eligibility for mobilization. Blood pressure was measured using a non-invasive method before and after a structured progressive mobilization intervention consisting of head elevation, range of motion exercises, and gradual activity adjustment based on patient tolerance. The findings demonstrated a consistent reduction in systolic and diastolic blood pressure across all participants, indicating a positive physiological response to the intervention. The magnitude of change suggested clinically relevant improvements in hemodynamic stability rather than absolute normalization. Mechanistically, progressive mobilization supports cardiovascular adaptation, enhances circulation, and optimizes autonomic regulation. These findings highlight the clinical relevance of progressive mobilization as a safe and evidence-based nursing intervention in intensive care settings, contributing to improved patient outcomes and supporting comprehensive stroke management strategies.

Abstract

This study examines student information-seeking behavior within an artificial intelligence-based digital ecosystem using the Ellis model as an analytical framework. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observation of chat histories, and document analysis involving eight undergraduate students of Library Science. The findings reveal that students systematically adapt all eight stages of the Ellis model when interacting with generative AI, particularly ChatGPT, indicating a structured and reflective search process. The integration of AI enhances efficiency, accessibility, and cognitive support, especially in generating initial understanding and structuring academic tasks. However, the study identifies critical challenges related to information accuracy, including AI hallucination, which necessitates rigorous verification practices. Students demonstrate adaptive verification strategies, although their consistency varies depending on task urgency and academic stakes. The findings contribute to theoretical enrichment by contextualizing classical information behavior models within AI-driven environments. Practically, the study highlights the need for strengthening digital literacy competencies and institutional interventions to ensure ethical and critical AI use in academic contexts.

Abstract

This activity aims to analyze the empowerment process of cocoa farmers, identify farmers’ perceptions toward cocoa farming, and formulate perception-based empowerment strategies in Metun Sajau Village. The activities were conducted using a quantitative survey approach supported by structured questionnaires with a Likert scale and semi-structured interviews to obtain both measurable and contextual data. The findings indicate that empowerment activities have been implemented through training, assistance, and institutional support; however, their effectiveness remains limited due to uneven distribution and lack of sustainability. Farmers generally show positive perceptions in technical aspects such as knowledge and motivation, but relatively low perceptions in economic aspects, particularly profitability. These perceptions significantly influence participation levels and adoption of innovations in cocoa farming practices. Based on these findings, empowerment strategies were formulated, including participatory training, continuous assistance, institutional strengthening, and market access development. These strategies are expected to enhance farmers’ capacity, independence, and productivity. Therefore, integrating farmers’ perceptions into empowerment activities is essential to ensure more adaptive, effective, and sustainable agricultural development outcomes.
