Abstract

This article aims to examine the strategic role of Civic Education in the formation of students' character in the era of globalization which is full of challenges of national values and identity. This study uses a literature review method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sources are obtained through critical analysis of theories, previous research results, and relevant documents related to Civic Education and character education. The results of the study indicate that Civic Education plays an important role not only as a means of conveying knowledge about the rights and obligations of citizens, but also as an effective medium in instilling moral values, forming positive habits, and strengthening national identity. Through contextual and continuous learning, this education is able to form students with strong, democratic characters and high national awareness. In conclusion, Civic Education is an important foundation in facing the flow of globalization, as well as being the main instrument in instilling Pancasila values and strengthening national identity among the younger generation.

Abstract

The introduction of citizenship education is needed to foster tolerance in students from an early age. Citizenship education aims to develop the moral qualities necessary to instill a sense of love for the country, foster national pride, foster a high sense of tolerance, and develop a sense of national identity that is in line with Pancasila, philosophy, world view and state ideology. One of the conditions for upholding Pancasila values ​​and fostering positive relations among Indonesian society is tolerance. Knowledge about how important it is to teach tolerance to elementary school students is the benefit of this article. The purpose of this article is to show how to use the tolerance-encouraging mindset you have developed through Citizenship Education in real-world situations. This article uses a qualitative methodology, collecting and evaluating data from a literature review. Students will learn how to develop a positive attitude of tolerance as a result of this essay.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of the subject of Civic Education (PKn) in shaping the character of Civic Education in Elementary Schools has a very important role for students, namely in shaping character, national values, and awareness of the rights and obligations of citizens. However, the dominant Civic Education teaching method is theoretical and contextual, making it difficult for students to understand the material. This article discusses various effective learning strategies to be applied in Civic Education subjects in Elementary Schools. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the discussion show that contextual strategies, the use of interactive media, project-based learning, and strengthening local values can have a significant impact on the effectiveness of Civic Education learning. These strategies are considered capable of increasing active student participation, strengthening conceptual understanding, and encouraging internalization of civic values in everyday life.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of the subject of Civic Education (PKn) in shaping the character of elementary school children, with a focus on their social life context. The background of this research is based on concerns regarding the decline in the character quality of the younger generation, which is evident from the high rates of behavioral deviations among students. This phenomenon is often linked to the low development of character during the educational process. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive study method, including participatory observation, interviews, documentation studies, and literature reviews. The findings indicate that the implementation of PKn is often suboptimal, focusing more on academic content mastery rather than the application of values in daily life. Therefore, innovation in PKn  teaching is necessary to connect theory with practice and to enhance students' awareness of the importance of civic values. With a better understanding of the role of PKn, it is hoped that more effective strategies can be found to shape a qualified and integrity-filled younger generation.

Abstract

In the current era, social issues often present children as victims in the media. Bullying is one of these social problems. This is very sad in places where children should feel safe and protected. This is in line with Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning child protection, which states that every child has the right to live, grow, develop, and participate properly in accordance with human dignity, as well as to receive protection from violence and discrimination. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach with the type of research being a literature review. A literature review is the collection of information or written works that are library-based in nature. The collection of information is carried out by reviewing several written sources, namely journals, books, and other sources that are certainly in accordance with the research object. 1. Forms of bullying behavior in schools Bullying behavior is an act of violence that is intentionally or unintentionally carried out by an individual or a group, either verbally or physically. Bullying is a type of aggressive behavior in which an individual or a weaker group experiences psychological or physical pressure. The perpetrators are those who bully others and believe that they have the authority to do anything to their victims. And it is usually carried out by one person or a group of people. 2. The impact of bullying on psychological aspects The impact of bullying behavior on its victims can affect the physical and psychological condition of the victims, and there are even victims who feel depressed and withdraw from their surrounding social environment. Bullying behavior only makes children feel afraid, threatened, have low self-esteem, and feel worthless, have difficulty concentrating while learning, have difficulty socializing with their environment, do not want to go to school, have difficulty socializing, and become individuals who lack self-confidence, have difficulty thinking, and experience a decline in academic achievement. Talking about bullying is always related to an action or behavior of an individual or group toward other individuals or groups. Usually, bullying appears in various forms, namely verbal bullying, physical bullying, and cyberbullying. Bullying is essentially destructive and damaging. Bullying is an act of abuse of power carried out by an individual or a group. The parties who carry out bullying do not only mean strong in physical size but also strong in mental capacity. In this case, victims of bullying are unable to defend themselves because they have weak physical and mental conditions.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis integrasi media Canva dengan model-model pembelajaran inovatif dalam mengembangkan kreativitas menulis puisi melalui studi literatur sistematis terhadap 15 artikel penelitian empiris periode 2021-2025. Hasil analisis menunjukkan Canva dapat diintegrasikan secara efektif dengan Project-Based Learning, Discovery Learning, Problem-Based Learning, Self-Directed Learning, dan Think Pair Share untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa secara signifikan, dengan peningkatan orisinalitas dan kelancaran mencapai 36-52%, motivasi belajar 45-51%, serta pemahaman unsur puisi 33-40% dibandingkan pembelajaran tradisional. Strategi implementasi terbukti efektif meliputi pembelajaran berbasis potensi lokal, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi produk, pemanfaatan fitur kolaborasi Canva dalam Think Pair Share, integrasi Google Workspace for Education, pengembangan E-LKPD berbasis Canva, dan pelatihan guru komprehensif. Kendala teknis (akses internet, spesifikasi perangkat) dan pedagogis (alokasi waktu, penilaian) dapat diatasi melalui persiapan infrastruktur matang, desain RPP realistis, rubrik penilaian jelas, dan template Canva siap pakai. Integrasi ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kreativitas kognitif tetapi juga dimensi afektif siswa seperti motivasi, engagement, dan kepercayaan diri, menciptakan pembelajaran relevan bagi generasi Z. Penelitian ini menyediakan peta komprehensif berbasis bukti empiris bagi guru dan calon guru untuk mengoptimalkan pembelajaran puisi di era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze students' psychomotor skills in Arabic language learning. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data sources consisting of books and journal articles relevant to assessing the psychomotor domain in Arabic language learning. The research focuses on analyzing students' observable behavior, acting abilities, and language skills. The approach used is pedagogical-linguistic, emphasizing the relationship between language learning theory and the application of psychomotor skills across the four language domains (listening, speaking, reading, and writing). The results indicate that the psychomotor domain reflects students' ability to practice Arabic through Simpson's seven skill levels: perception, readiness, guided movement, mechanism, complex movement, adaptation, and origination. Assessment instruments used include worksheets, direct observation, and student portfolios. Therefore, psychomotor domain assessment plays a crucial role in assessing students' success in mastering Arabic language skills actively, communicatively, and applicably.

Abstract

Students from various educational levels experience difficulties in learning mathematics. The first problem in learning mathematics is the difficulty in understanding mathematical concepts. Some students forget the main material that was discussed at the previous level. The second problem is students' perception of mathematics. Students view mathematics as a difficult and boring subject, which makes them lazy to study mathematics. The third problem is the lack of motivation due to online games. Students tend to be happy when playing, but are not enthusiastic when taking math lessons. Students studying mathematics must understand mathematical concepts first so they can solve problems and able to apply this learning in the real world.  The purpose of this study is to determine how much influence learning independence has on the mathematical concept understanding ability of grade 10 students of SMAN 80 North Jakarta. The method used in this study is the simple regression analysis method. The sample in this study was 55 students taken using a purposive sampling technique. Before conducting the hypothesis test, the data is tested for normality and linearity.  Data analysis using simple regression. The results of the study show that there is a positive influence between learning independence and the ability to understand mathematical concepts of 72,18% with the regression equation ????̅= 83,42 + 0,02x and thitung > ttabel = (3,246 > 2,006.

Abstract

This study analyzes the urgent need for reconstructing Islamic Religious Education (PAI) design as a proactive strategy to build Inclusive Religious Identity in Generation Alpha amid the threat of digital polarization. As true digital natives, Generation Alpha is highly vulnerable to algorithmic echo chambers, risking the solidification of exclusive religious views. Therefore, Inclusivity in PAI must be elevated to function as a spiritual immunity rooted in the Islamic value trilogy of Tasamuh, Tawassuth, and Ta’awun to instill the teachings of rahmatan lil alamin. Employing a Qualitative approach through Literature Study, this research identifies a significant pedagogical deficit in traditional PAI methods (dominated by lecturing and rote memorization). To bridge this gap, PAI design must be fully adapted based on three core principles: Active and Contextual Learning, strengthening the Affective Focus, and Safe Digital Technology Integration. These principles are synthesized into the structured Inclusive PAI Implementation Model. This model encompasses three interactive domains Pedagogical, Ecological/Cultural, and Policy to provide a concrete operational roadmap for PAI practitioners in cultivating moderate and tolerant religious character in the digital age.

Abstract

Academic anxiety is a serious psychological problem experienced by pre-service teachers that affects their academic abilities and readiness to become professional educators. This study aims to analyze the effect of procrastination on academic anxiety among students of the Economics Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Halu Oleo University, Kendari. The study employed a causal correlational quantitative approach involving 146 students in semesters 3 and 5, selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Research instruments consisted of a procrastination scale (31 valid items, α=0.911) and an academic anxiety scale (28 valid items, α=0.897). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. Results showed 46.6% of students had moderate procrastination levels, and 43.2% experienced moderate academic anxiety. Regression analysis confirmed procrastination has a positive and significant effect on academic anxiety (β=0.906, t=25.745, p<0.05) with a contribution of 90.6%. Higher student procrastination levels correspond to greater academic anxiety. This study emphasizes the importance of addressing procrastination as a primary strategy to reduce academic anxiety among pre-service teachers through systematic intervention programs such as group counseling and time management training.
