Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan media Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini di TK Islam Al Azhar 50 Bengkulu. APE digunakan sebagai sarana stimulasi yang dirancang untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir, memecahkan masalah, mengenal pola, serta memahami konsep numerasi dan sains sederhana. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan APE di TK Islam Al Azhar 50 Bengkulu berjalan efektif melalui kegiatan bermain terstruktur dan bebas, dengan dukungan guru sebagai fasilitator. APE seperti balok, puzzle, papan geometri, dan APE numerasi terbukti mampu meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak, meliputi kemampuan mengklasifikasi, mengenal pola, menghitung, memecahkan masalah, serta meningkatkan fokus dan kreativitas. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa APE berperan penting sebagai media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini, terutama ketika digunakan secara terencana dan sesuai karakteristik anak.

Abstract

This study investigates the writing proficiency of bilingual students in Grade X at SMKN 1 Tapak Tuan, a vocational high school implementing a bilingual instructional model. The research aims to assess students’ overall writing performance and identify the most frequent linguistic issues that influence their proficiency. Using a mixed-method design, data were collected through a writing test, analytic scoring rubric, interviews, and classroom observations. The students’ written texts were evaluated across five components: content, organization, vocabulary, language use, and mechanics. In addition, linguistic errors were categorized using the Error Analysis framework consisting of omission, addition, misformation, and misordering. The findings indicate that most students are positioned at the fair proficiency level, with significant challenges in grammar accuracy, vocabulary range, and organization. Misformation and omission emerged as the most dominant error types, suggesting strong L1 interference and limited exposure to English writing conventions. Qualitative data reveal that students’ difficulties are influenced by low confidence, limited academic vocabulary, and inconsistent bilingual support. The study highlights the need for more explicit writing instruction, targeted feedback, and increased English input within vocational bilingual contexts. Implications for teaching practices and curriculum refinement are also discussed.

Abstract

Gender bias in textbooks is an important issue in education that needs to be examined, because teaching materials not only serve as a source of knowledge, but also as a tool that shapes the values, perceptions, perspectives, and behavior of students. An unbalanced representation of men and women in teaching materials can reinforce social stereotypes and patriarchal structures and create an unequal educational environment. This study aims to analyze the existing gender representation in the Advanced English Textbook for the Merdeka Curriculum for Grade XII F2 by examining how the roles, activities, professions, and narratives of men and women are presented. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a content analysis approach based on the nurture perspective, this study identifies forms of marginalization, subordination, stereotypes, symbolic violence, and double burdens that may appear in the book's content. The analysis was conducted systematically on the text, narratives, illustrations, and dialogues to see whether the material represented equality or replicated gender bias. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the development of more gender-sensitive teaching materials, provide recommendations for educators to implement inclusive learning, and support the creation of a fair educational environment in line with the spirit of the Merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

The design of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning media plays a crucial role in creating an effective and valuable learning process. Media is understood as a means of communication that conveys learning messages through various forms, particularly visual and narrative. In PAI, visual media such as posters, infographics, concept maps, and videos help clarify abstract concepts with a concrete and engaging presentation. Meanwhile, narrative media such as stories, comics, drama, and animation strengthen the understanding of Islamic values ​​through storylines that engage students' cognitive and affective aspects. The integration of visuals and narratives enables more holistic learning, as it combines representation with information, leveraging the power of storytelling to facilitate the internalization of values. This approach aligns with the goals of Islamic education, which emphasize the integration of knowledge, values, and morals. With appropriate media design and grounded in Islamic principles, PAI learning can be more engaging, meaningful, and capable of shaping students' religious character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengalaman siswa dalam menggunakan Behance sebagai portofolio digital serta tingkat originalitas karya pada Mata Pelajaran Pilihan Fashion Industry di Konsentrasi Keahlian Desain dan Produksi Busana SMK Negeri 5 Malang. Subjek penelitian adalah 26 siswa kelas XI. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan dua variabel: originalitas karya dan pengalaman menggunakan Behance. Originalitas karya diukur melalui self-assessment berbasis skala Guttman (Ya/Tidak) pada empat indikator, yaitu keaslian ide dan konsep, keunikan desain, pemanfaatan elemen desain, serta proses pembuatan karya. Pengalaman siswa diukur dengan angket skala Likert 1–4 yang mencakup aspek persepsi, kemudahan penggunaan, manfaat, motivasi, dan kendala. Data dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif melalui persentase dan skor rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa originalitas karya siswa berada pada kategori tinggi hingga sangat tinggi dengan rata-rata 78% respon “Ya”; indikator keaslian ide, keunikan desain, dan elemen desain berada pada kategori sangat tinggi, sedangkan proses pembuatan karya pada kategori tinggi. Pengalaman siswa menggunakan Behance berada pada kategori positif dengan rata-rata skor 3,03 dan indeks 76% menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa terhadap Behance sangat positif, kemampuan dan manfaat berada pada kategori positif, sedangkan kendala yang dirasakan masih dalam batas wajar. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa Behance layak digunakan sebagai media portofolio digital untuk menguatkan kualitas karya dan mendokumentasikan kompetensi siswa secara profesional di pendidikan vokasi busana.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan transformasi perilaku siswa melalui penerapan budaya pepeling di lingkungan sekolah menengah atas. Pepeling sebagai bentuk kearifan lokal Jawa dipandang memiliki nilai-nilai moral yang relevan untuk pembentukan karakter siswa pada masa remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi di MAN 01 Kota Tasikmalaya, melibatkan guru, siswa, dan pihak kesiswaan sebagai informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pepeling dilakukan melalui pembiasaan harian, visualisasi nilai moral dalam bentuk poster, keteladanan guru, serta integrasi pepeling dalam kegiatan rutin sekolah. Siswa memaknai pepeling sebagai pengingat moral yang mudah dipahami dan dekat dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Temuan penelitian juga memperlihatkan adanya perubahan perilaku positif, seperti peningkatan kedisiplinan, kesopanan berbahasa, dan tanggung jawab siswa dalam kegiatan belajar. Dengan demikian, budaya pepeling terbukti berperan penting dalam mendorong transformasi perilaku dan penguatan karakter siswa berbasis kearifan lokal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan Festival Surabaya Juang sebagai sumber belajar kontekstual untuk menumbuhkan nasionalisme peserta didik sekolah dasar. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana aktivitas festival seperti teatrikal perjuangan, parade pahlawan, dan pertunjukan budaya dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik tentang identitas nasional, patriotisme, serta kesadaran sejarah. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan guru dan siswa kelas IV di SDN Babatan 1 Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun keterlibatan langsung siswa dalam festival masih terbatas, pemahaman mereka mengenai nilai perjuangan dan kebanggaan sebagai warga Surabaya meningkat melalui kegiatan budaya sekolah dan pengalaman menonton festival. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi peristiwa sejarah lokal ke dalam pembelajaran PPKn efektif dalam memperkuat karakter kebangsaan serta mendukung penerapan pembelajaran kontekstual di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the teaching module “Applying the Value of Forgiveness in Daily Life” in Christian Religious and Character Education learning for tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 3 Palangkaraya. The implementation was based on the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes character building and competency development through meaningful learning experiences. The learning process applied the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach, involving group discussions, case study analysis, presentations, and reflection activities. Data were collected through observations of student participation, analysis of group work results, and project assessments. The findings reveal that 85% of students actively participated in the learning process, all groups successfully completed the assigned tasks, and assessment results showed 34 students categorized as “good” and 15 as “sufficient.” Learning media such as reflective videos and case studies effectively enhanced students’ understanding of the value of forgiveness. Challenges identified in the implementation included limited time for deep reflection and the reluctance of some students to share personal conflict experiences. The study concludes that the implementation of a forgiveness-based teaching module is effective in fostering empathy, conflict management skills, and mutual respect among students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan berbagai bentuk bullying antar teman sebaya di sekolah dasar serta menelaah dampaknya terhadap fokus dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Kajian ini dilakukan melalui penelitian sekunder dengan menganalisis beragam sumber dokumen, seperti laporan nasional KPAI, artikel jurnal ilmiah, dan hasil penelitian terdahulu terkait bullying pada siswa sekolah dasar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa bullying verbal, fisik, relasional, dan pengambilan barang merupakan bentuk yang paling sering terjadi, terutama di area sekolah dengan pengawasan yang kurang optimal. Dampak yang muncul antara lain menurunnya motivasi belajar, meningkatnya kecemasan, terganggunya konsentrasi, perilaku menarik diri dari pergaulan, serta rendahnya partisipasi dalam kegiatan kelas. Sementara itu, pelaku bullying juga menunjukkan pola belajar yang tidak positif, seperti kurang fokus, rendahnya kedisiplinan, dan kesulitan dalam mengelola emosi. Secara keseluruhan, bullying berkontribusi pada kondisi pembelajaran yang tidak kondusif dan menghambat tercapainya tujuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini mendorong penguatan pendidikan karakter, peningkatan pengawasan, pelatihan bagi guru, serta kerja sama antara sekolah, keluarga, dan lembaga perlindungan anak dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanganan bullying.

Abstract

The implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is one of the approaches carried by the Merdeka Curriculum to create contextual, creative, and student-centered learning. This model requires teachers to have adequate pedagogical, professional, social, and technological competencies. However, the facts show that many elementary school (SD) teachers still face challenges in understanding, designing, and implementing Project-Based Learning optimally. This study aims to analyze the challenges faced by teachers in implementing Project-Based Learning, as well as exploring various efforts made to improve teacher competence. The study uses a literature study method with descriptive analysis of various sources, including journals, e-proceedings, and bold news. The results of the study show that intensification of training, academic supervision, and strengthening digital literacy contribute significantly to improving teacher competence. In addition, the implementation of Project-Based Learning has been shown to have a positive impact on learning outcomes and 21st-century skills of elementary school students. Therefore, improving teacher competence needs to be used as an example of a sustainable and structured program so that the implementation of Project-Based Learning runs optimally in elementary schools.
