Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman peserta didik kelas VII terhadap permainan bola basket di SMP Negeri 1 Lendah Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Lendah kelas A, B, dan C sebanyak 96 peserta didik dan sekaligus merupakan subjek pada penelitian. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling dan instrument yang digunakan menggunakan tes yang disebarkan melalui google form. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tingkat pemahaman untuk untuk kategori sangat tinggi sebanyak 8 peserta didik (8,3%), tinggi sebanyak 20 peserta didik (20,9%), sedang sebanyak 45 peserta didik (46,8%), rendah sebanyak 19 peserta didik (19,8%), sangat rendah sebanyak 4 peserta didik (4,2%). Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan tingkat pemahaman peserta didik kelas VII terhadap permainan bola basket di SMP Negeri 1 Lendah sebagian besar masuk dalam kategori sedang. Abstract: This research aims to determine the level of comprehension of the seventhgrade students regarding the basketball game at SMP Negeri 1 Lendah (Lendah 1 Junior High School), Kulon Progo Regency. This research was a descriptive quantitative study with survey methods. The research population was the seventhgrade students of SMP Negeri 1 Lendah classes A, B, and C for about 96 students who were also the subjects of the study. We used total sampling technique and the instruments used the tests distributed via the Google form. The data analysis used the descriptive quantitative analysis with percentages. Based on the results of the research, the level of comprehension is as follows: in the very high level for about 8 students (8.3%), in the high level for about 20 students (20.9%), in the medium level for about 45 students (46.8%), in the low level for about 19 students (19.8%), and in the very low level for about 4 students (4.2%). These results can be interpreted as the level of comprehension of the seventhgrade students towards the basketball game at SMP Negeri 1 Lendah, most of the students are categorized into the medium level.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur seberapa besar kontribusi guru PJOK dalam mendukung program kesehatan sekolah dasar melalui Kegiatan Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) di Sekolah Dasar di seluruh Kecamatan Sentolo Kabupaten Kulon progo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi penelitian mencakup 25 guru PJOK dengan teknik total sampling. Teknik analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perananan guru PJOK didalam Kegiatan Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) di Sekolah Dasar di seluruh Kecamatan Sentolo Kabupaten Kulon progo presentase tertinggi yaitu masuk dalam kategori "cukup" sebesar 48% (12 guru). Kemudian kategori "tinggi" sebesar 24% (6 guru), kategori "sangat tinggi" sebesar 16% (4 guru), kategori "kurang" sebesar 12% (3 guru), dan kategori "Sangat Kurang" sebesar 0% (0 guru) atau tidak ada guru dengan kategori sangat kurang).Abstract: The aim of this research is to measure how much PJOK teachers contribute to supporting elementary school health programs through School Health Business Activities in elementary schools throughout Sentolo District, Kulon Progo Regency. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with survey methods and data collection using questionnaires. The research population included 25 PJOK teachers using a total sampling technique. The research data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis in the form of percentages. The results of the research show that the role of PJOK teachers in School Health Business Activities in elementary schools throughout Sentolo District, Kulon progo Regency, has the highest percentage, namely in the "sufficient" category at 48% (12 teachers). Then the "high" category was 24% (6 teachers), the "very high" category was 16% (4 teachers), the "poor" category was 12% (3 teachers), and the "very poor" category was 0% (0 teachers), or there are no teachers in the very poor category.

Abstract

Inclusive physical education supports all students' social, emotional, and physical development, including those with special needs. With growing awareness of the importance of inclusivity in education, effective learning strategies to support the participation of students with special needs are becoming increasingly relevant, especially in senior secondary schools. This study aimed to explore and analyze various inclusive physical education learning strategies, focusing on how these approaches can improve the participation and learning outcomes of students with special needs. The methodology used was a systematic literature review, allowing for the comprehensive identification and analysis of strategies implemented and evaluated in inclusive physical education. Following PRISMA guidelines, the study selection process involved a structured literature search across multiple electronic databases, quality evaluation, and synthesis of findings from the selected studies. The literature review showed that inclusive approaches in physical education, including the use of assistive technology, adaptation of activities, and professional training for teachers, increase the engagement and participation of students with special needs and strengthen understanding and respect for diversity among all students. However, the study also identified challenges in implementing these strategies, such as lack of resources and inadequate teacher training. Inclusive approaches in physical education increase the engagement and participation of students with special needs and promote understanding and respect for diversity among all students. Successful inclusive learning strategies include applying assistive technology, modification of activities, professional training for teachers, and multidisciplinary collaboration. However, challenges in implementing these strategies were also identified, including a lack of resources, inadequate teacher training, and the need for more individualized curriculum adaptations. This research offers practical recommendations for educators and policymakers in developing more inclusive physical education practices, emphasizing the importance of student-centered approaches and close collaboration between schools, families, and communities to support students with special needs.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh meditasi terhadap akurasi memanah siswa Ekstrakurikuler Panahan SMP di Kabupaten Sleman. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Pelaksanaan program latihan meditasi selama 18x pertemuan. Sampel penelitian adalah atlet panahan berjumlah 10 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes akurasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui akurasi pada siswa ekstrakurikuler panahan tersebut, tes dilakukan dengan siswa memanah pada jarak 30 meter. Analisis data menggunakan uji t untuk membandingkan hasil pretest dan posttest. Hasil pretest dicatat skor akurasi panahan 10 siswa ekstrakurikuler SMP di Kabupaten Sleman. Skor akurasi Pretest  rata-rata 260,60 setelah dilakukan 18 sesi latihan meditasi, skor akurasi memanah pada posttest meningkat menjadi rata-rata 276,10 analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan akurasi memanah siswa mengalami signifikan, dengan p-value 0,000<0,05, yang menunjukkan bahwa latihan meditasi dapat secara efektif meningkatkan keseimbangan dan akurasi memanah siswa ekstrakurikuler. Kesimpulan  secara keseluruhan, temuan kami menunjukkan bahwa latihan meditasi secara signifikan meningkatkan akurasi memanah. Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of meditation on the archery accuracy of junior high school archery extracurricular students in Sleman Regency. This research method uses an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Implementation of the meditation training program for 18x meetings. The research sample was 10 students. The research instrument used an accuracy test to determine the accuracy of the archery extracurricular students, the test was carried out with students archery at a distance of 30 meters. Data analysis using the t-test to compare pretest and post-test results. The pretest results recorded the archery accuracy scores of 10 junior high school extracurricular students in Sleman Regency. Pretest accuracy scores averaged 260,60 after 18 sessions of meditation practice, archery accuracy scores on the posttest increased to an average of 276,10 Statistical analysis showed that the increase in students' archery accuracy was significant, with a p-value of 0,000<0,05, indicating that meditation practice can effectively improve the balance and archery accuracy of extracurricular students. Overall, our findings suggest that meditation practice significantly improves archery accuracy.

Abstract

Kompetensi sebagai wujud kualitas lulusan menjadi penting bagi Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Jasmani FIKK UNY. Lulusan atau alumni dari program studi harus memiliki kompetensi dalam mempersiapkan dalam memasuki dunia kerja dan siap bersaing dengan alumni atau lulusan dari universtas lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui kualitas lulusan Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Jasmani FIKK UNY UNY dari perspektif pengguna lulusan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket tertutup terdiri dari 13 pernyataan dari indikator kepuasan pengguna lulusan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 17 pengguna lulusan atau sebesar 32% dari total pupolasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Data dari angket kuisioner dalam penelitian ini merupakan data kuantitatif yang akan peneliti analisis secara deskriptif persentase denga kriteria sebagai berikut; 1-25% dengan kriteria sangat rendah, 26-50% dengan kriteria sedang, 51-75% dengan kriteria Baik, dan 76-100% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil dan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi lulusan prodi Magister Pendidikan Jasmani FIKK UNY memiliki nilai rerata sebesar 47.06, persentase sebesar 90.50 % dengan kriteria sangat baik. Sejumlah 13 indikator kepuasaan masuk dalam kriteria sangat baik. Indikator kemampuan bahasa asing merupakan indikator dengan nilai terendah dibanding indikator yang lain. Hasil ini dapat dijadikan bahan evaluasi pihak terkait untuk merencanakan program peningkatan kompetensi lulusan. Abstract: Competency as a form of graduate quality is important for the FIKK UNY Physical Education Master's Study Program. Graduates or alumni from study programs must have competence in preparing to enter the world of work and be ready to compete with alumni or graduates from other universities. This research aims to determine the quality of graduates of the Master of Physical Education Study Program FIKK UNY from the perspective of graduate users. This research is quantitative descriptive. The method used in this research is a survey method. The data collection technique used in this research used a closed questionnaire consisting of 13 statements from indicators of graduate user satisfaction. The sample in this study was 17 graduate users or 32% of the total population. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative descriptive. The data from the questionnaire in this research is quantitative data which researchers will analyze descriptively in percentages using the following criteria; 1-25% with very low criteria, 26-50% with medium criteria, 51-75% with good criteria, and 76-100% with very good criteria. The results and discussion in this research can be concluded that the competency of graduates of the Master of Physical Education study program FIKK UNY has an average score of 47.06, a percentage of 90.50% with very good criteria. A total of 13 satisfaction indicators fall into very good criteria. The foreign language ability indicator is the indicator with the lowest value compared to other indicators. These results can be used as evaluation material for related parties to plan graduate competency improvement programs

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis cara meningkatkan konsistensi pemain tenis lapangan junior Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode experiment dengan melakukan 16 kali pertemuan dengan setiap minggu 4 sesi. Sample penelitian ini 20 atlet junior tenis Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dengan rentan umur 14-18 tahun yang tingkat konsistensi pukulan groundstrokenya masih rendah. Instrumen untuk tes yang digunakan adalah tes keterampilan tenis lapangan (Sport Skill Tennis Test) Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan uji paired-t test, yaitu dengan maksud untuk membandingkan nilai rerata dari hasil pre test dan post test sebelum dan sesudah latihan superdrill perlakuan dengan sampel yang sama. Sebelum uji paired-t test, terlebih dahulu uji normalitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari latihan superdrill terhadap konsistensi atlet. Persentase peningkatan konsistensi sebesar 18,3% dan 27.31 %. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan program superdrill efektif untuk meningkatkan konsistensi atket tenis lapangan junior Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze how to improve the consistency of junior field tennis players in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This research uses an experimental method by conducting 16 meetings with 4 sessions each week. The sample of this research was 20 junior tennis athletes of Yogyakarta Special Region with the age range of 14-18 years whose level of consistency of groundstrokes was still low. The instrument for the test used is the field tennis skill test (Sport Skill Tennis Test) The data analysis technique uses the paired-t test, which is with the intention of comparing the mean value of the pre-test and post-test results before and after superdrill training treatment with the same sample. Before the paired-t test, first the normality test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of superdrill training on the consistency of athletes. The percentage of consistency improvement is 18.3% and 27.31%. From these results it can be concluded that the superdrill program is effective for increasing the consistency of junior field tennis athletes in Yogyakarta Special Region.

Abstract

Existing study examining the validity and reliability of the Physical Activity Questionnaire for adolescents (PAQ-A) in Indonesian youth did not explain whether it conducted cross-cultural adaptation to the questionnaire or not, and the authors did not publish the Indonesian version of the questionnaire. None of the previous studies investigated the validity and reliability of the Indonesian version of PAQ-C. This study aimed to conduct a cross-cultural adaptation of PAQ-A and PAQ-C into the Indonesian language (Bahasa Indonesia) and to check its validity and reliability. This research employed a cross-sectional design. Two groups were recruited: grade 5 students (n=58, 10-12 years old) and grade 7 students (n=61, 13-15 years old). The concurrent validity was verified against the Indonesia Physical Fitness Test (IPFT). We also investigated the item validity and inter-item correlations. The reliability was tested by using the Cronbach Alpha technique. Results showed that the concurrent validity of the Indonesian version of PAQ-A and PAQ-C against IPFT are low (rho= 0.224 and rho= 0.165, consecutively) (p>0.05). The item validity of the Indonesian version of PAQ-A ranged between 0.338 and 0.737; while for PAQ-C ranged between 0.329 – 0.818. Inter-item correlation for PAQ-A and PAQ-C ranged from -0.019 to 0.569 and 0.000 to 0.704, respectively. The reliability of the Indonesian version of PAQ-A and PAQ-C is acceptable (α = 0.740 and α = 0.705 – 0.712, consecutively). In conclusion, we found that the item validity of PAQ-A and PAQ-C were at a moderate level. The validity of the PAQ-A and PAQ-C were lower when they were checked against a physical fitness test, comparable to previous studies with device-based measurements. The Indonesian version of PAQ-A and PAQ-C have a moderate level of reliability. Our results suggest that the use of the questionnaires will be better complemented by other device-based measurements, such as accelerometers or pedometers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa tinggi tingkat penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis ICT oleh Guru pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan di sekolah SMP/MTs sederajat se-Kecamatan  Banguntapan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode survei dengan pengambilan data menggunakan angket. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Guru PJOK SMP se-Kecamatan Banguntapan sejumlah 25 guru dari 10 sekolah. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan mengambil seluruh subyek responden atau sampel jenuh sejumlah 25 guru. Teknik penggumpulan data menggunakan angket. Hasil uji reliabilitas penelitian ini adalah 0,927. Hasil uji validitas dengan uji instrumen menunjukan nilai  r tabel 0,381 Uji instrumen dilakukan di SMP/MTs sekecamatan Imogiri. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian diketahui tingkat penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis ICT oleh Guru PJOK di sekolah SMP/MTs sederajat se-Kecamatan  Banguntapan menunjukan hasil dengan kategori sangat baik 1 orang (4%), kategori baik 5 orang (20%), kategori sedang 12 orang (48%), kategori rendah 5 orang (20%), dan kategori sangat rendah 2 orang (8%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa nilai rata-rata penggunaan media berbasis ICT oleh Guru PJOK di SMP/MTs sederajat se-Kecamatan  Banguntapan, Bantul Yogyakarta termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Abstract: This research aims to find out how high the level of the utilization of ICT-based learning media by the Physical Education teachers in the junior high schools located in Banguntapan District.This research was a descriptive quantitative study. The research population was the Physical Education teachers for the junior high schools located in Banguntapan district, consisted of 25 teachers from 10 schools. The research sample was determined by taking all respondent subjects or a saturated sample of 25 teachers. The data collection techniques used a questionnaire. The results of the reliability test are at 0.927. The results of the validity test with the instrument test showe an r table value at 0.381. The instrument test was carried out at the junior high schools located in Imogiri District. The data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis with percentages. The results show that the level of utilization of ICT-based learning media by the Physical Education teachers in the junior high schools located in Banguntapan District show results as follows: in very good category for about 1 person (4%), in good category for about 5 people (20%), in the moderate category for about 12 people (48%), in the low category for about 5 people (20%), and in the very low category for about 2 people (8%). Based on the results of the research, it is concluded that the average value of the utilization of ICT-based media by the Physical Education teachers in the junior high schools located in Banguntapan District is included in the moderate category.

Abstract

Developmental disorders in autistic children are one of the problems that require early detection so that developmental deviations do not occur. This study aims to determine the gross motor conditions of autistic students and children developing at the same age using the TGMD-2 (Test of Gross Motor Development-2) instrument.(Ulrich, 2000). This study uses a quantitative approach using a survey method. Sampling used with purposive sampling technique through certain considerations including age and demographic conditions of the same area. The sample in this study consisted of 10 SLB students and 17 regular students with data analysis techniques in this study using quantitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that autistic children have a "Very Low" gross motor condition which is generally lower than normal children with the same age range as a reference. The results of this study are expected to help educators and health workers in providing an overview in order to transmit the gross motor skills of autistic children and provide appropriate program in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the utilization of lesson study in improving the teaching competence of Physical Education (PE) teachers at the elementary school level. The lesson study process which consists of three main stages: planning, implementation, and collaborative reflection, was applied in the context of PE learning in several elementary schools. Participants in this study came from physical education teachers from the Palembang (Indonesia) area, totalling 10 elementary school PE teachers. The quality of learning is measured by looking at two aspects: teaching skills observed from recorded processes on how teachers managed the classroom and from students' formative class evaluation questionnaire after the learning process. The initial measurement and training on managing the classroom were given to the participating teachers before the lesson study was conducted. Furthermore, the lesson study program was carried out for four cycles. The same measurement was taken before and after the lesson study was concluded. All data in this study were processed using IBM SPSS 27 with paired sample t-test analysis and effect sizes. The results of the study found that lesson study at the before and after stages was proven to significantly improve the quality of teacher teaching (p<0.05), but not at the teaching skills (p>0.05). The results showed that lesson study effectively helped PE teachers identify and correct weaknesses in their teaching, improve pedagogical skills and facilitate more interactive and quality learning. In addition, lesson study also encourages the development of a collaborative culture among teachers, which contributes to improving professionalism and learning quality. This study concludes that lesson study is an effective strategy to improve the teaching competence of PE teachers at the primary school level, and it is recommended to be applied more widely in teacher development programs.
