Abstract

Poaceae known as plants used as food ingredients in Indonesian. One area thas has high level diversity of plants Poaceae is Tahura R. Soerjo. Morphological characterization Poaceae in that region are still rare. The Goal for this research are to identify Poaceae tribes, and make photography Poaceae data that can be used as a supplement on Diversity of Plants course. This study included descriptive exploratory study with free cruising method. The species Poaceae has identified are Bambusa multiplex, Dendrocalamus asper, Digitaria radicosa, Echinochloa sp, Eragrostis unioloides, Lophatherum gracile, Oplismenus burmanni, Paspalidium flavidum, Pennisetum alopecuroides, Phragmites karka, Setaria parviflor.

Abstract

This is descriptive quantitative research which has purpose to reveal and to describe Kurikulum 2013 implementation in teaching process from student and teaching of Vocational School in Malang point of view. The reviewed teaching process covers teaching planning, teaching implementation, and teaching evaluation. Research variable has 5 study implementation components (teaching planning reviewed from teacher, teaching implementation reviewed from teacher, teaching evaluation reviewed from teacher, teaching implementation reviewed from student, and teaching evaluation reviewed from student). Research sample and population are teacher and student of Computer and Networking of Vocational School which is already applied Kurikulum 2013 in Malang. Numbers of Research samples are 35 teacher respondents and 209 student respondents. Research instrument is semi open questionnaire which has statement items using Likert scale variable. Research result shows that teacher understanding about teaching planning based on Kurikulum 2013 in Computer and Networking of Vocational School in Malang are very good 86,64%. It is proved by teacher ability in arranging syllabus and teaching implementation plan. Teacher Understanding in teaching process based on Kurikulum 2013 are in very good category 86,50%. The result is shown in teachers ability in handling class. Teacher understanding in teaching evaluation based on Kurikulum 2013 in Computer and Networking of Vocational School in Malang are in good category 82,29%. This is approved by teachers ability in doing authentic approach. Student response or perception research result on teaching implementation based on Kurikulum 2013 conducted by Computer and Networking of Vocational School teachers in Malang are good category 72,3%. Student perception on teaching evaluation or appraisal based on Kurikulum 2013 conducted by Computer and Networking of Vocational School teacher in Malang are in good category 75,82%.

Abstract

This reseacrh was to determined the effect of guided inquiry learning based on scientific environment technology and society (SETS) to critical thinking skills based on academic ability difference. This reseacrh was included to quasy experiment with Post Test Only Design Factorial 3 x 2 design. ANOVA was used to test the hypothesis and LSD used for advance test with α = 0,05. The research showed that (1) there was a difference in students’ critical thinking skills who took the Guided inquiry learning based on SETS, Guided inquiry learning, and conventional learning; (2) there was a difference of critical thinking skills in students with different academic ability; (3) there was no difference in students’ critical thinking skills of high academic ability who took the Guided inquiry learning based on SETS, Guided inquiry learning, and conventional learning; (4) there was a difference in students’ critical thinking skills of low academic ability who took the Guided inquiry learning based on SETS, Guided inquiry learning, and conventional learning; and (5) there was no interaction between the learning model and the academic ability to the critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Many vocational graduates are not absorbed in the world of work so that it will increase the number of unemployed. Mechanical aptitude tests should be held before students go to prakerin, in order to place students on a department that they like. Besides other factors that may affect job readiness is a prakerin. Prakerin with adequate facilities, is expected to vocational students would be able to develop science and technology. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of cross-sectional research ex-post facto. The population in this study were students of SMK Lightweight Vehicle Engineering Expertise in Malang academic year 2015/2016 which has been carrying out prakerin is class XI. The number of population, namely (1) SMK Negeri 6 Malang; (2) SMK Negeri 10 Malang; (3) SMK Negeri 11 Malang; and (4) SMK Negeri 12 Malang as many as 406 students and 200 students obtained by calculation Slovin. The results of the simultaneous contribution is 10.9%. While the calculation of the partial between mechanical aptitude towards work readiness of 1.9% and a qualifying place prakerin against 8.3% job readiness.

Abstract

Learning is a process that systematically designed to provide learning resources for learners in a learning environment. Learning PJOK not focus only on psychomotor aspect, but to achieve movement skills also involves cognitive and affective aspects. Innovation in developing learning that seeks to improve behavior and learning in the 21st century creativity required the design of the active one with the electronic module. Electronics module is a form of teaching materials appropriate to the characteristics of teaching materials that have been packaged into a coherent whole, arranged systematically studied independently and be active by learners in accordance with the speed or ability without the guidance of a teacher.

Abstract

The Development of Web aims to produce an instructional strategy which implement on valid lesson plan in order to enhance the effectiveness of learning. Method used by Lee & Owens (2004) is assessment/analysis; design; development; implementation; evaluation. The result of research shows that the media of learning is valid and it is used effectively on learning.

Abstract

This research aims at investigating liberal life perspective of Indonesian language teacher at SMK Kartika IV-1 Malang in regard with general education objective, school aims, general characteristics, children as learners, management and administration, curriculum characteristics, learning subject materials, learning method, learning evaluation and classroom management. This research employed qualitative design using case study approach. The subject of this research were liberal Indonesian language teachers at SMK Kartika IV-1 Malang. The data of this research were obtained through in-depth interview and observation. The obtained data then were analyzed using Education Ideology Mapping by O’Neil (2008). The results of this study indicated that life perspective of liberal Indonesian language teachers at SMK Kartika IV-1 regarding general education objective, school aims, general characteristics, children as learners, management and administration, curriculum characteristics, learning subject materials, learning method, learning evaluation and classroom management is diversed. However, life perspective of liberal Indonesian language teachers at SMK Kartika IV-1 is not constantly similar with Education Ideology Mapping by O’Neil.

Abstract

This research objective is to assess the cooperation between PPPPTK BOE/VEDC Malang with the related institutions as a vocational training program. This research used qualitative design with case study which it aims at understanding rational reality as a subjective reality particularly within related stakeholder in cooperation as a vocational training program including (1) cooperation objectives; (2) cooperation principles employed; (3) cooperation planning; (4) cooperation organization; (5) cooperation significance; (6) cooperation form; (7) issues encountered and approach of solvency within the cooperation.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the roles of the school cooperation as an economic-learning laboratory for students of the Vocational Schools located at Kuripan subdistrict, West Lombok. This study was carried out within the framework of qualitative descriptive research. The methods used for data collection include observations, interviews and documantations. The findings suggest that the school cooperation at the Public Vocational School 1 Kuripan serves the following roles: to provide students with their needs at school, to help students in developing characters of honesty and responsibility, to promote students’ insight into economic science, to provide students with organization education. As for the school cooperation at the Public Vocational School 2 Kuripan, the two following roles are identified: to give a help with providing students’ needs at school and to provide a place to sell creative products by the students in particular those who are specialized in cullinary art and agriculture.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to know the effectiveness of peer modeling (peer modeling) to reduce students' academic procrastination behavior. This research use design a one-group pretest-posttest design. The results showed that academic procrastination behavior decreased effective in the application of techniques interventions peer modeling (peer modeling). Then the reduced effective behavior procrastination academic in the application of techniques intervention peer modeling.
