Abstract

Introduction: Tuberculosis remains public health problem worldwide. Pulmonary tuberculosis  is an infectious disease that is transmitted from smear-positive pulmonary tuberculoasis patients. Tuberculosis infection has a high risk of being transmitted when there is contact with TB patients. This phenomenon explains that the risk factors for pulmonary tuberculosis transmission are closely related to contact status with tuberculosis patients. Methods: Literature review was carried out by searching articles through electronic databases (Google Scholar, PubMed, ScienceDirect, and SpringerLink) using the keywords tuberculosis contact status, risk factors for tuberculosis events, and contact status AND incident of pulmonary tuberculosis. The inclusion criteria for the articles used were articles published in accredited national and international publication articles, the year of publication of the article in the 2017-2023 range, full text, open access, and no restrictions related to research design in the article. Nine articles were selected for analysis. Articles are analyzed using matrix tables and Prism schemes. Results: Based on a literature review, it was found that there was an effect of contact status on the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. Contact status with tuberculosis -infected patients affects the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis transmission. Contact with tuberculosis patients can occur in the household, hospital environment, and school. Conclusion: Based on the literature study, it is explained that the status of contact with tuberculosis patients significantly affects and has a high risk of developing pulmonary tuberculosis. Keywords: Contact status, Literature review, Pulmonary tuberculosis

Abstract

One of the regional hospitals in Pemalang Regency has not compiled an Outpatient Disease Index and the process of making other indexes is still manual. The study aims to determine the process of making an index of Medical Record Units at Pemalang Regency Regional Hospitals in 2022. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection through semi-structured interviews with indexing officers and observations on the index table design. Analysis of interview results and observations using synthesis analysis. The results of this study show that the data sources for the RI and RJ disease index, patient index, surgery index, doctor index, and death index made by hospitals are taken from medical record documents, while the data sources for the Patient Index and Inpatient Index are taken from SIMRS. Index data processing is done manually (inpatient disease index, outpatient index, doctor index, surgery index, and mortality index) and electronically (patient index). The use of SIMRS in Unit Indexing is not fully used because most of the process is done manually (Microsoft Excel), except for the Patient Index. Suggestion, To improve the quality of hospital services, the hospital should evaluate the performance of medical personnel in the ward in inputting resume data of patients returning home both in SIMRS and in DRM. In addition, improving the features or functions of SIMRS in order to collect, process, and present all index data (Inpatient Disease Index, Outpatient Index, Patient Index, Operation Index, Doctor Index, and Death Index) needed by the hospital.

Abstract

Abstract

The people of Teluk Pulai Village use the water of the Red River, which is peat water, as a source of clean water. Not all residents use the water because it is brown to reddish in color. The results of the water test show that the turbidity parameter is 37 NTU, the iron (Fe) content is 4.57 mg/L, and the manganese (Mn) content is 2.39 mg/L; therefore, it is necessary to treat the water so that it is suitable as clean water and raw water for drinking water. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of media thickness and contact time on reducing turbidity, pH, temperature, Fe content, and Mn content in river water by filtration. The research design was an experiment with a pretest-posttest design with one control group and six replications. The independent variables were media thickness of 20 and 40 cm and contact time of 5 and 10 minutes, while the dependent variables were turbidity, pH, temperature, Fe content, and Mn content. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively based on Permenkes No. 32 of 2017. The results of the initial measurement of turbidity, Fe, and Mn levels before each treatment were above the quality standard according to Permenkes No. 32 of 2017. After processing using the filtration method, the results were in accordance with the quality standards, namely turbidity < 1 to 4 NTU, pH 6.5–6.9, temperature 25.8–26.4 oC, Fe content 0.024-0.126 mg/L, and Mn content 0.31–1.78. Although maximum effectiveness is achieved with a thickness of 40 cm and a contact time of 10 minutes, it is economically advisable for the community to treat river water using zeolite and activated sand filtration media with a thickness of 20 cm and a contact time of 5 minutes.

Abstract

Cases of returning claims for Covid-19 patient care costs from BPJS Health often occur due to administrative and service problems. The number of claim submissions in 2021 was 282 pending files and 67 dispute files. This study analyzes the causes of pending and dispute claims for Covid-19 patient care costs at the Central Java Type B Hospital. The research method is descriptive by observing all (98) pending files and dispute claims for covid-19 cases in 2021. Data collection methods through documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the univariate analysis method. The results of the study show that there are still many obstacles in the service process. Therefore, it needs to be regulated by the provisions of service regulations. As for the claims process, health facilities find it difficult due to dynamic regulatory changes during the pandemic. BPJS health requires certainty in the policy of determining the end of the pandemic period. If Covid-19 benefits are transferred to JKN in the post-pandemic period, the source of financing may not only be done through the conversion of contributions, but there is also an option for assistance funds from the government.
