Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the feasibility of the ispring suite-based assessment instrument on the number pattern material. This research method uses 3 stages of the 4D model, namely define, design, development. The research subjects were students of class VIII at MTs. S Nurul Iman Pomalaa. The data analysis technique used expert validation questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The results obtained: material expert validation got a final score of 4.31 with valid criteria, media experts got a final score of 4.5 with valid criteria. The results of the student response questionnaire obtained a final score of 4.3 including a positive response. So it can be concluded that the assessment instrument for learning mathematics with the Ispring Suite-based number pattern material has been tested for its feasibility to be used as an assessment instrument.

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 is a formidable challenge for the world of education, one of which is learning mathematics. Moreover, in the current Covid-19 condition, which requires that learning be carried out by e-learning, the level of students' mathematical problem solving abilities is getting lower. To overcome this problem, this study applied an IT-based learning model (geogebra). The objectives of this research are to know the improvement of students' mathematical problem solving, the improvement of students' mathematical learning activities, and the improvement of the teacher's ability to manage learning. This type of research is Classroom Research. The analytical technique used is descriptive. The results of this study seen from the results of students' mathematical problem solving tests increased by 33.33%. Student activity in learning increased by 23.43%. The ability of teachers to manage learning increased by 36%. So the results of this study show that the IT-based learning model (geogebra) can improve students' mathematical problem solving, student activities in class X Multimedia I SMK Negeri 4 Padangsidimpuan.

Abstract

In this research, the researcher wanted to analyze the students' mathematical understanding ability on integral material by using a descriptive qualitative approach. One of the class XII students of SMAN 1 Cikarang Barat was made the subject of this research. The instrument used in this research is a test instrument, which is in the form of an integral material description test question which consists of 7 questions. The results of problem solving by students will be analyzed based on indicators of mathematical understanding, namely interpreting, exemplifying (giving examples), classifying, summarizing, inferring, comparing, and explaining. The results showed that the research subjects were only able to answer 3 questions correctly, which means they were only able to fulfill 3 of the 7 indicators of mathematical understanding. Indicators of mathematical understanding that can be fulfilled by research subjects are summarizing, classifying, and exemplifying (giving examples).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the mistakes made by students in class VIII SMPN 22 Purworejo in solving the problem of building a flat side space based on information processing theory. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this research were 3 students taken from 5 students of class VIIIB SMPN 22 Purworejo. The results showed that students' errors based on the information processing stages were found in the retieval stage. rehearsal and encoding. Errors in the retrieval stage include (1) errors in the use of arithmetic operations; (2) errors in the use of formulas. errors in the rehearsal stage, namely the repetition of concepts or values that are wrong and errors in the encoding stage, namely students do not re-check every answer produced.

Abstract

This research aims to identify ethnomathematics in the architecture of the Masjid Agung At-Taqwa Bondowoso which will be used as teaching materials for learning mathematics in the form of a series of stories that can be included in teaching materials in the form of learning videos. This research is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. This research uses observation and interview methods as research data collection methods. The research subjects consisted of two observers and one resource person, namely the takmir of the Masjid Agung At-Taqwa Bondowoso. The results of the study show that (1) there is a mathematical concept contained in the architecture of the Masjid Agung At-Taqwa Bondowoso (2) the implementation of the two ethnomathematical aspects can be developed into a series of stories that can be contained in a teaching material in the form of learning videos.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mathematical critical thinking of junior high school students on statistical material. This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects of this study were 2 students of class VIII who had been selected purposively, specifically students with high mathematical abilities. Data collection techniques used questions, interviews, field notes, and documentation. The main instrument in this research is the researcher himself who is supported by a critical thinking test instrument for statistical material in the subsection average or mean. The data analysis technique uses three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity test in this study is a credibility test with triangulation techniques, namely observation, tests, and interviews. The results of this study indicate that students with high mathematical abilities can fulfill all critical thinking indicators in statistical material. The indicators are interpretation, analysis, explanation, evaluation, self-regulation, & inference.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the reasoning of students in the mathematical study of social arithmetic that focuses on profit or loss. The study is a descriptive study using pmri (Indonesia's realistic math education) that starts with online shopping as a context for both early learning and for profit or loss at the end of learning. The subject of this study is class VII SMP at lubuklinggau. Research shows that the problem with context can help students identify important information on matters about the concept of social arithmetic. The use of context in questions provides reasoning and understanding of the mathematical concepts learned.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of video-based e-learning on student learning outcomes in learning mathematics in the circle material for class VIII MTsN 5 Magetan. This research was conducted in February 2022. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with a control test. Sampling of data was done by using cluster random sampling technique. The sample of this study amounted to 32 students for the experimental class and 32 students for the control class. Data retrieval using test instruments in the form of multiple choice, data analysis using t test. the results obtained tcount 25.983 > ttable 2.660 with = 1%, which means Ho is rejected. So that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, namely that e-learning with videos has an effect on student learning outcomes in mathematics learning material for class VIII MTsN 5 Magetan. It is suggested to the school to provide support and facilities for the development of this video-based e-learning method so that of course it can improve student learning outcomes.Keywords: E-learning; Student Learning Outcomes; Circle

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerimaan penggunaan teknologi terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dilakukan di SMAN 1 Tirtayasa, data sekunder adalah laporan siswa tahun 2021. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas 12 SMAN 1 Tirtayasa, sampel minimal yang digunakan adalah rumus Slovin (1960) agar diperoleh 168 siswa. Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengaruh penerimaan teknologi dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa yang digunakan analisis Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).
