Abstract

This study aims to describe outing class-based learning management at MTs Tahfidzul Qur'an Azhar Center Makassar, including planning, implementation, evaluation, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation with key informants, namely the head of the madrasah, teachers, activity committees, and students. The results show that outing class-based learning is managed systematically and collaboratively through two main activities, namely Literacy and Creativity Camp and Ramadan Celebration. Activity planning is carried out by determining the objectives, materials, methods, media, and schedule in accordance with the characteristics of the students and the vision of the madrasah. The implementation of activities takes place through a briefing stage, core activities based on direct experience, and a closing stage in the form of reflection. Learning evaluation was conducted through student reflection, teacher reports, and evaluation meetings as a basis for program improvement. Factors supporting the activities included teacher involvement, parental support, and the availability of facilities and infrastructure, while inhibiting factors included limited funds and external resource persons.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of majelis selawat in the process of internalizing Islamic values and its impact on social harmony. As a form of collective worship, majelis selawat not only strengthens the spiritual relationship with Allah but also serves as a social space that strengthens relationships among community members. The process of internalizing Islamic values in this study is based on sociopsychological theory, which examines how social and psychological environments influence the behavior of individuals and groups. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method on a community that regularly holds majelis selawat. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation to understand the transformation of Islamic values in social life. The results of the study show that majelis selawat plays an important role in instilling values of love, peace, and mutual respect, thereby strengthening ukhuwah islamiyah and a sense of togetherness. The internalization of these values impacts the creation of social harmony, reduction of conflict potential, and an increase in community solidarity. Thus, majelis selawat has great potential as an effective means of building a harmonious society through the continuous internalization of Islamic values at various social levels.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of dark humor on cyberbullying behavior among vocational high school (SMK) students. Using a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression design, it involved 88 SMK students selected via total purposive sampling. Data were gathered using the dark humor scale (Cronbach's α = 0.943) and cyberbullying scale (Cronbach's α = 0.867), both tested for validity and reliability. The hypothesis that dark humor positively affects cyberbullying behavior was confirmed, evidenced by the regression equation Y = 27.121 + 0.520X, correlation coefficient R = 0.661, coefficient of determination R² = 0.473 (47.3% contribution), F-value = 66.691 (Sig. = 0.000), and t-value = 8.166 (p < 0,001). Classical assumptions of normality (Kolmogorov-Smirnov Sig. = 0.119) and homoscedasticity were fulfilled. Dark humor significantly and positively influences cyberbullying among SMK students. This research enriches the psychological literature on cyberbullying by highlighting dark humor as a key predictor. The findings support developing school counseling programs to reduce dark humor tendencies and prevent cyberbullying

Abstract

Sexual abuse cases involving young children remain a serious problem in Indonesia. Children are vulnerable to becoming victims due to their limited understanding of bodily boundaries, refusal skills, and courage to report abuse. This study aims to describe the process of implementing the “Bela Andin” application as an educational medium for the prevention of sexual abuse in young children using a qualitative approach. Data was obtained through interviews with teachers and documentation of the application's use in kindergarten classrooms. Data analysis was conducted in three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the “Bela Andin” application makes it easier for children to understand the concept of bodily boundaries and trains them to respond by refusing and reporting. Teachers assessed this application as practical, relevant to their needs, and capable of serving as a bridge for communication on sensitive topics. However, limitations in equipment, intensive assistance, and variations in digital literacy remain challenges. These findings confirm that the “Bela Andin” application is effective as an educational innovation for the prevention of sexual abuse of young children, but minor improvements to the application are needed.

Abstract

This study focuses on testing the effect of the application of cinema therapy techniques in group guidance services in increasing the learning motivation of students at SMP Negeri 26 Makassar. The objectives of the study include: (1) an overview of the level of student learning motivation, (2) an overview of the implementation of cinema therapy techniques in group guidance services, (3) the effect of the application of cinema therapy techniques in increasing learning motivation. This research approach is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design through a pretest-posttest control group design. The instrument used is a learning motivation scale. The study population was 50 students identified as having low learning motivation. The study sample was 20 grade VIII students who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group, each consisting of 10 students. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques used were observation and a learning motivation scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, and t-tests. The results of the study showed that before the intervention, students' learning motivation was in the low to moderate category. After the intervention, the learning motivation of the experimental group increased to the high category, while the control group remained in the low category. The cinema therapy technique was implemented systematically over six sessions over a five-week period, through the stages of disassociation, identification, internalization, and transference. The t-test results showed a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.002 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that the cinema therapy technique is effective in increasing students' learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the implementation of the ta'widiyah method in instilling character values in Madrasah Alam Insan Rabbani Kota Sungai TFull as a response to moral challenges in the era of globalization. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a field research approach, where data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that planning is carried out systematically by integrating religious values, discipline, honesty, independence, and environmental care into the madrasah culture. Its implementation is carried out consistently through worship routines, interaction with nature, and the example of teachers in a holistic and pressure-free learning atmosphere. Evaluation is carried out on an ongoing basis through direct observation of student behavior, daily reports, and joint reflection sessions. Despite facing challenges in the form of inconsistencies in parenting at home and the diversity of family backgrounds, the research concludes that a strong synergy between teachers, parents, and a supportive madrasah environment makes the ta'widiyah method very effective in shaping the personality and noble character of students as a whole.

Abstract

Early childhood education plays an important role in shaping children’s character, morality, and spirituality during the early stages of development. The cultivation of religious values in kindergarten is not only carried out through formal religious activities but also through the habituation of positive behaviors in daily learning activities. In addition to the role of teachers, the leadership of the kindergarten principal also influences the implementation of religious values and the development of a school culture that supports children’s character formation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of a religious foundation in kindergarten learning and to examine the role of the kindergarten principal in supporting the character development of early childhood students. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers, and document analysis of learning plans such as the Daily Learning Implementation Plan (RPPH). The results show that religious values are implemented through daily habituation activities such as collective prayers, greeting practices, lining up before entering the classroom, sharing with peers, and maintaining environmental cleanliness. These values are also integrated into lesson planning. The principal plays a role in guiding teachers, establishing school policies, conducting learning supervision, and encouraging parental involvement. These practices contribute to the development of children’s character, including discipline, empathy, politeness, responsibility, and honesty. Therefore, consistent implementation of religious values supported by effective school leadership can strengthen positive character development in early childhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine the internalization of the value of Musāwah (equality) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for seventh graders at SMP Giki 1 Surabaya, emphasizing the process of internalization of the value of musāwah. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to collect data through in-depth interviews with the principal, vice principal for curriculum, PAI teachers, and Muslim and non-Muslim students, supplemented by direct observation of the dynamics of the school environment. The results show that the internalization of the value of musāwah occurs through three main stages: value transformation through material delivery, value transactions through dialogue and group discussions, and transinternalization through teacher role models and habituation in inclusive school policies. The school consistently applies the principle of non-discrimination, provides equal participation space, and assesses not only academic achievement but also students' social attitudes. These findings indicate that the value of equality does not stop at the conceptual level, but grows into a dynamic school culture, reflected in mutual respect, interfaith cooperation, and minimal conflict based on differences. Thus, the internalization of the value of Musawah in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning has proven effective in shaping students' character to be tolerant, inclusive, and able to live harmoniously in diversity.

Abstract

Contemporary Islamic Religious Education (IRE) faces challenges in fostering students' critical reasoning with a strong epistemological foundation. Thus far, critical thinking has often been viewed as a secondary byproduct rather than a systematically designed cognitive process. This qualitative study, employing a literature review method, aims to construct an IRE learning model focused on strengthening critical mindsets through inductive reasoning mechanisms. The research formulates the Critical-Inductive Learning Cycle (CILC) model, which positions inductive inference (istiqra’) at the heart of the students' thinking process. The model is operationalized through four key stages: contextualization (empirical observation), investigation (data exploration), conceptualization (inductive generalization), and actualization (reflection and application). Theoretically, CILC contributes to IRE pedagogy by asserting that reinforcing critical logic aligns with the formation of reflective faith and potentially serves as a cognitive defense mechanism against hoaxes and radicalism. As a conceptual model, CILC requires further empirical testing to validate its effectiveness in classroom practice.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of student participation and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education and Character (PAIBP) among eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 10 Padang, particularly in the Islamic Cultural History component on Muslim scholars during the Abbasid Dynasty. The research aimed to analyze the improvement in learning outcomes and to compare the effectiveness of the Make a Match and Card Sort cooperative learning models assisted by comic media. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two experimental classes: Experiment 1 implemented the Make a Match model, while Experiment 2 applied the Card Sort model. Data were collected through objective pre-test and post-test instruments and analyzed using Paired Sample T-Test, Independent Sample T-Test, and N-Gain analysis with SPSS version 23. The findings revealed that both models significantly improved students’ learning outcomes (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05). However, a significant difference was found between the two classes (Sig. 0.047 < 0.05), with the Card Sort class achieving a higher post-test mean score (85.47) compared to the Make a Match class (81.06). The N-Gain results for both groups were in the moderate category, with Card Sort showing slightly higher effectiveness. These results indicate that while both cooperative models are effective, Card Sort is relatively more effective for factual and conceptual materials due to its emphasis on systematic classification and conceptual organization.
