Abstract

Using literary works in language and learning cannot be avoided. For this reason, this research aimed to determine the use of literary works in students' literature learning to support the School Literacy Movement (GLS) at SDN Genuksari 01. There are several research stages in this research: the pre-field, fieldwork, and data analysis stages. The data were collected through interview techniques and questionnaires conducted on 17 classroom teachers and a school principal (18 participants). The data obtained was then processed and analyzed descriptively according to the research flow. Finally, data validity was carried out by triangulating data and sources. This study's result is that most teachers have implemented literary works in literature learning since before the pandemic until now. The sources are from the school library, teachers, or students in the form of printed or digital. This means GLS in SDN Genuksari 01 is supported by using literary works in the literature learning process. However, there are several challenges experienced by the teachers, such as limited sources in the school library, teachers' inability to use IT-based literary works, teachers' limitation in understanding literary material, and students' low interest in reading activities.

Abstract

Students' low numeracy literacy skills in connecting mathematics with real-life applications and solving HOTS questions effectively. This research aims to find out how the numeracy literacy skills of class V students are in flat plane material. This research uses a qualitative case study type method with the Miles and Huberman model.    The research results show that the numeracy literacy skills of class V students at SDI Sultan Agung 1.3 Semarang are still quite low. Of the 22 students, 14 students had low numeracy abilities, 5 students had medium numeracy abilities, and 3 students had high numeracy abilities These findings also show that the majority of students have difficulty with word problems that require in-depth understanding of the context, indicating a lack of students' skills in working on HOTS-based questions and a lack of exposure to numeracy literacy activities. The findings of this research can be a basis for teachers to develop more effective learning strategies in improving students' numeracy literacy skills. This research provides a new view on how numeracy literacy can influence students' abilities in solving HOTS questions, especially on the topic of plane figures.

Abstract

This study used word frequency and co-occurrence network analysis using KH Coder 3.0 to evaluate perceptions of international schools in Bali, as reflected in 614 online reviews. The analysis, which yielded an average satisfaction rating of 4.4 out of 5, identified school as the most common term and demonstrated its significance in the review. Frequent mention of children, students, teachers, as well as emotionally resonant terms such as amazing and nature, highlight society's emphasis on educational quality, student-teacher relationships, and the ethos of the school environment. This network of co-occurrences further reveals the importance of community, curriculum, and the integration of Balinese cultural and natural elements into the educational experience. This research aims to fill this gap by examining how online reviews of international schools in Bali influence their reputation among the expatriate community and influence parents' choices. The result of this research is an analysis of customer responses to international schools in Bali, which were assessed quantitatively and qualitatively in this research, providing strong evidence of the high regard for these institutions. An average rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars, based on a large number of reviews, indicates strong satisfaction among parents and students with the educational services provided. Green School's outstanding performance, in terms of review volume, is an exemplary example of educational excellence that can serve as a benchmark for other schools. These insights, gained from the application of a robust methodology using KH Coder 3.0, not only confirm the current strength of educational institutions but also pave the way for targeted strategies to address potential growth.

Abstract

Science learning is empirical learning that involves the process of investigation. However, limited facilities and infrastructure, and the unavailability of laboratories are obstacles in the process of investigating science learning. Traditional laboratories require much time, cost and performance, so using virtual laboratories can be an alternative in science learning. The problem-based learning model can guide the use of virtual laboratories in science learning. Thus, this study aims to develop and test the feasibility of digital teaching material products based on problem-based learning integrated with virtual laboratories on electricity material for PGMI students. The product development process refers to the Lee & Owens development model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data collection instrument consists of a media validation test instrument, material validation test and readability test in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results of the media validation test showed a percentage score of 92.33% with very valid criteria. In comparison, the readability test generated a score of 83.25 with very valid criteria. Thus, digital teaching materials based on problem-based learning integrated with virtual labs on electricity material are proven to be valid and feasible for use in science learning for PGMI students
