Abstract

This research aims to (1) describe the errors in using compound sentences in narrative essays written by fifth-grade students at SDN Karangasem I Surakarta, and (2) describe the factors influencing the errors in using compound sentences in writing narrative essays by fifth-grade students at SDN Karangasem I Surakarta. This study is a descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects are fifth-grade students at SDN Karangasem I Surakarta. Data collection methods include observation, document analysis, and interviews. Data analysis technique uses Tarigan & Tarigan’s error analysis. The research findings show that 143 errors in using compound sentences were identified (52.57%), consisting of 57 errors in using compound sentences (20.96%), 78 errors in using complex compound sentences (28.68%), and 8 errors in using mixed compound sentences (2.94%). Factors influencing the use of compound sentences include (1) mastery of material related to compound sentences, (2) mastery of grammatical rules for compound sentences, (3) proficiency in everyday language, and (4) practice in writing compound sentences. The theoretical implications of this research can be used as a reference for future studies. The practical implications of this research can assist educators in providing an understanding of teaching compound sentence writing

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pengembangan soft skills dalam manajemen kurikulum berbasis alam memberikan dampak positif terhadap mutu pembelajaran. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum SMP IT Alam Nurul Islam. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dimulai dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan diakhiri dengan penarikan kesimpulan. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tiga tahap: pertama, tahap pra-kerja lapangan; kedua, tahap kerja lapangan; dan ketiga, analisis data. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, sekolah tidak hanya mengutamakan prestasi akademik tetapi juga berfokus pada pengembangan soft skills siswa. Berbagai inovasi diterapkan untuk melatih berpikir kritis, adaptabilitas, kerja sama tim, komunikasi, dan pengembangan profesional minat dan bakat siswa. Kesimpulannya, penerapan manajemen kurikulum berbasis alam mendukung peningkatan soft skills sekaligus mencapai capaian pembelajaran akademik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-book anti korupsi, kelayakam, serta kepraktisannya. Latar belakang dari penelitian ini yaitu implementasi P5 yang masih kurang, selain itu juga pendidikan anti-korupsi terdapat keterbatasan pemahaman guru dan media pembelajaran untuk diajarkan kepada peserta didik. Kelebihan dari buku ini adalah penyajian materi yang jelas dan sederhana sehingga mudah untuk dipahami dan dicerna siswa. Model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate) adalah model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan dari lima tahapan tersebut, pengembangan e-book anti korupsi menghasilkan persentase dari kedua validator sebesar 85% kategori Layak. Persentase kepraktisan dari uji respon siswa sebesar 99,25% kategori Sangat Praktis, dan uji respon guru sebesar 98% kategori Sangat Praktis. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, e-book anti korupsi dinyatakan layak dan praktis untuk diterapkan di siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Sojomerto, Kabupaten Kendal.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills are one of the skills that must be mastered in the 21st century. Increasing creative thinking skills can have an effect on increasing student learning outcomes. Implementation of a project based learning model based on differentiation learning can be used to develop creative thinking skills and student learning outcomes. This research was conducted to determine the effect of the project based learning model based on differentiation learning on the creative thinking skills and learning outcomes of class IV students at Gugus Srikandi Elementary School, Kaliwungu District in the 2023/2024 academic year. This research uses a quantitative approach with a non-equivalent quasi-experimental pre test-post test research design. The population of this study was all grade IV students at Gugus Srikandi Elementary School, Kaliwungu District in the 2023/2024 academic year using cluster random sampling techniques. This research uses multivariate analysis of variance to carry out data analysis tests. The research results are based on the MANOVA test with a significance value < 0.005 (0.000 < 0.005). These results show that there is a difference in the average creative thinking skill scores and student learning outcomes before and after using the project based learning model based on differentiation learning. Based on this, it can be concluded that the project based learning model based on differentiation learning has an influence on creative thinking skills and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

One important skill that must be developed through school is critical thinking. The use of project-based learning strategies is one technique for improving critical thinking skills. This research seeks to determine the impact of the project-based learning model on students' critical thinking abilities, as well as the effect of implementing the model on these abilities. In addition, this research aims to determine the extent of the influence of the project-based learning model on students' critical thinking abilities at SD Gugus 3 Laweyan Surakarta. This research uses a quasi-experimental design and quantitative methodology. This research uses a pretest-posttest control group design as the research methodology. There are two classes that are the research sample, namely Class 5 and Class 6.

Abstract

The principal is the spearhead of the leadership of an educational institution, both general education and Islamic education. Institutional leaders must have academic, social and personality qualifications and competencies as the basis for becoming a quality leader. The quality of educational institutions, one of which is seen from the role of school principals in various fields. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the Role of School Principals and Madrasah in the development of the Curriculum in educational institutions, especially at SMKN 1 Bakor, Nganjuk Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach through field studies. The data collection technique uses interview and documentation methods with data sources obtained through the Principal and the Curriculum Waka. Curriculum is an educational plan and design that will be carried out in an educational institution, both general education and Islamic education. The development of the curriculum at SMK Negeri 1 Bagor, as a Center of Excellence school, cannot be separated from the role of the principal. As a supervisor and controller, the principal plays an important role in curriculum development to improve the quality of the educational institution in accordance with its vision and mission.

Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim of describing the form of errors in the use of Indonesian spelling in the narrative essays of fourth grade students and the factors that cause errors in the use of Indonesian spelling. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were fourth grade students and teachers. With Tarigan and Tarigan's language error analysis technique. The forms of errors found include errors in the use of letters by 48.01%, errors in writing words by 35.86%, errors in the use of punctuation marks 13.94%, and errors in writing elements of absorption 2.19%. Factors causing errors in the use of Indonesian spelling, namely from within students, include students' lack of understanding of Indonesian spelling, lack of vocabulary that students understand, and lack of motivation from within students. Then, the causal factors from outside the learners include learning that is not maximized and the influence of the language previously mastered.

Abstract

This research uses a cooperative script learning model to improve the listening skills of class III B students at SDN Mangkubumen Kidul for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 26 people. This research used Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out over two cycles and two meetings in each cycle. Teachers and students are the data sources for this research and the techniques for obtaining the data are through tests, interviews, observation and documentation. This research uses validity tests in the form of source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data were analyzed using the methods in the Miles and Huberman model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing up conclusions. The findings of this research show that there was a significant increase in the results of cycle I with an average value of 70.5 and an increase in cycle II to 83. The conclusion of this research is that the listening skills of class III students at SDN Mangkubumen Kidul can be improved through the application of the cooperative script learning model.

Abstract

AbstractMusic learning in elementary schools generally still uses learning models that are less effective and memorable for students. Therefore, this research was made to improve the ability of students to think critically through learning the art of music in elementary schools through the development of learning models for arts and crafts subjects (especially in learning the art of music). The researchers specifically targeted the objectives to be achieved as follows: (1) Identification of problems that occur in learning music in elementary schools; (2) Identification of the needs needed in learning the art of music in elementary schools, especially during the covid-19 pandemic; (3) describes the process of learning the art of music in elementary schools using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model. In this study, the researchers used the Research and Development (R&D) method to be able to develop a Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model which would later determine whether the CTL learning method was effectively used in learning the art of music at the elementary level. Keywords: music art, contextual, critical thinking, elementary school, develop AbstrakPembelajaran seni musik di Sekolah Dasar umumnya masih menggunakan model pembelajaran yang kurang efektif dan terkesan kurang bermakna bagi para peserta didik. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini dibuat guna meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam berpikir kritis melalui pembelajaran seni musik di Sekolah Dasar melalui pengembangan model pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran seni budaya dan prakarya (khususnya pada pembelajaran seni musik). Adapun peneliti menargetkan secara khusus tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah sebagai berikut: (1) mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang terjadi dalam pembelajaran seni musik di  Sekolah Dasar; (2) mengidentifikasi kebutuhan yang diperlukan dalam pembelajaran seni musik di SD khususnya di masa pandemi covid-19; (3) menjabarkan proses pembelajaran seni musik di SD dengan menggunakan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) untuk dapat mengembangkan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) yang nantinya akan menentukan apakah metode pembelajaran CTL ini efektif bila digunakan dalam pembelajaran seni musik di tingkat SD.                                                        Kata kunci: seni musik, Contextual, berpikir kritis, sekolah dasar, mengembangkan
