Equilibrium: Jurnal Pendidikan dengan ISSN Cetak: 2339-2401 dan ISSN Online: 2477-0221 merupakan jurnal peer-review untuk publikasi artikel ilmiah di bidang pendidikan dan sosiologi, merupakan jurnal akses terbuka yang bertujuan untuk menyediakan forum untuk para peneliti, dosen, guru, praktisi, dan mahasiswa dari seluruh dunia . Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan materi akhlak yang relevan dengan kebutuhan Generasi Z, khususnya dalam menghadapi tantangan moral di era teknologi digital. Teknologi digital menghadirkan peluang dan tantangan baru bagi siswa, seperti akses informasi tanpa batas, media sosial, dan pola interaksi virtual. Hal ini menuntut pembelajaran akhlak yang dapat membimbing siswa menjadi pengguna teknologi yang bijak dan bertanggung jawab.Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif, melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan evaluasi untuk memahami kebutuhan siswa di MAN 1 Ketapang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan materi akhlak berbasis pendidikan karakter meliputi lima tahap utama: analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan kurikulum berbasis teknologi, pengembangan materi yang relevan, implementasi pembelajaran, dan evaluasi dampaknya. Materi dirancang untuk membangun kesadaran siswa terhadap penggunaan teknologi yang positif, seperti memanfaatkan media sosial untuk kebaikan, menghindari penyebaran informasi palsu (hoaks), dan mencegah perilaku negatif seperti perundungan siber (cyberbullying).Evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang pentingnya etika digital, empati dalam komunikasi online, serta integritas dalam memanfaatkan teknologi. Peran guru sebagai fasilitator sangat penting dalam membimbing siswa menjadi generasi yang bermoral, adaptif, dan bijaksana di tengah perkembangan teknologi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi nilai-nilai akhlak dengan literasi digital sebagai pendekatan strategis dalam pembelajaran di era digital

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pendidikan karakter dalam mengatasi krisis literasi dini pada siswa kelas 3 SD UNISMUH Makassar. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, yang melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pendidikan karakter ke dalam pembelajaran literasi memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan membaca dan menulis siswa. Siswa yang terlibat dalam program pendidikan karakter menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi belajar, keterampilan sosial, dan prestasi akademik yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan mereka yang tidak terlibat. Selain itu, keterlibatan orang tua dalam program "Literasi Keluarga" terbukti efektif dalam mendukung kegiatan literasi anak di rumah. Meskipun terdapat tantangan dalam implementasinya, penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan program pendidikan karakter yang terintegrasi ke dalam kurikulum literasi untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pengembangan literasi siswa

Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth the reasons why the majority of the Pangkal Niur Village community maintains the tradition of berume dryland rice farming amid various vulnerabilities, examine the manifestations of the reasons why the Pangkal Niur Village community maintains the tradition of dryland rice farming today, and analyze the local government's response to the vulnerabilities faced by dryland rice farmers. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using Pierre Bourdieu's social practice theory, which includes the concepts of habitus, capital, and arena. The results of the study show that there are several motives for the persistence of the berume tradition, including: (1) the manifestation of habitus that has become a tradition passed down from generation to generation; (2) the rationality that berume is more economical than paddy fields; (3) berume is a form of local food security; (4) the existence of mutual cooperation and togetherness values that continue to be upheld. In addition, the berume tradition is manifested in: (1) the continued use of traditional subsistence methods amid the modernization of farmers; (2) the use of berume rice in the nisab and memere/ngebaru (ngeberas baru) traditions; (3) intercropping rice fields with 1-3-year-old oil palm trees; (4) preserving forests because they are considered a source of freedom. Furthermore, the government, through the Bangka Food and Agriculture Service, has released local rice varieties and distributed fertilizers and pesticides to field farmers, although it is now more focused on paddy rice because of its higher production.

Abstract

Divorce not only changes the legal status of a couple, but also impacts the social and economic conditions, especially for a woman who has experienced a divorce “post-divorce”. The women who have recently divorced often face significant changes in their economic capacity, social networks, and access to resources. This condition then encourages them to develop strategies to become independent socially and economically. This study aims to analyze how women develop their strategies for being independent in social and economic aspects after post-divorce in Makassar City. This study used a descriptive qualitative method by using a purposive sampling technique, where five females who had been divorced for two years became the informants. The data collection was conducted through observation and in-depth interviews. The results shows that post-divorce women implemented two forms of economic strategies, namely (1) independent strategies based on microbusiness such as they were selling some foods and fried foods, and work strategies in the informal service sector such as working as laundry employees and Sales Promotion Girl for cosmetics (2) In the social aspect, the informants were actively in community group activities and reconstruct their self-confidence to maintain their survival. (3) Factors supporting their independence came from strong family support and individual psychological control. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors faced include low levels of education, and they faced a double burden of earning money and parenting.   Keywords: Post-divorce women; Economic independence; Social independence; Makassar City.

Abstract

This paper focuses on analyzing the massive tin mining issue on Bangka Island through the lens of the First Generation Frankfurt School’s critical social theory, particularly the ideas of Horkheimer and Adorno concerning the consequences of instrumental or technological rationality. The study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method, elaborated with field observations for data collection. The analysis reveals the continuing relevance of the First Generation Frankfurt School’s thought in understanding modern human problems rooted in instrumental rationality, as reflected in the large-scale exploitation of tin resources. A critical examination indicates that the root cause of this phenomenon lies in the epistemic foundation of the state’s and local elites’ approach to resource management—through PT Timah (formerly PT Kobatin)—which is characterized by what Horkheimer terms instrumental rationality and what Adorno refers to as technological rationality. This mode of reasoning prioritizes effectiveness, efficiency, and profit orientation, often at the expense of environmental integrity and human well-being. Empirical evidence of environmental degradation is evident in unreclaimed mining pits (kolong), damaged mangrove ecosystems, marine pollution leading to the loss of fishermen’s livelihoods, and a widening socio-economic gap between elites and field laborers.

Abstract

Pengintegrasian mata Pelajaran dengan kearifan lokal merupakan salah satu hal yang penting dalam mewujudkan Pendidikan di Indonesia yang menekankan pengalaman belajar yang sesuai dengan minat, bakat dan karakteristik, sehingga perlu dilakukan identifikasi unsur-unsur budaya dan kearifan lokal dalam bahan ajar. Namun dalam kenyataannya banyak guru yang belum mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran sehingga masih banyak peserta didik yang tidak mengenal kearifan lokal di lingkungan mereka. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini hadir bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan materi kearifan lokal sebagai Upaya pelestarian rumah tongkonan melalui Pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengembangan Research & Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, dan Evaluate). Peneliti memilih tipe ADDIE yang menjadi salah satu dari beberapa model desain pembelajaran yang sistematis melalui pengembangan modul berbasis kearifan lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan modul kearifan lokal sebagai Upaya pelestarian rumah tongkonan melalui pendidikan dapat diterima oleh peserta didik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari perolehan nilai penilaian dari ahli media, ahli materi, dan uji coba. Penilaian ahli media menunjukkan persentase sebanyak 85% dinyatakan dengan kategori "sangat layak", penilaian ahli materi menunjukkan persentase sebanyak 95% dengan kategori "sangat layak", dan uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh persentase sebanyak 92% dengan kategori "sangat layak". Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa modul ini dapat diterima oleh peserta didik, baik dari segi materi dan medianya.

Abstract

Multicultural education is an education that seriously considers the background of students from various aspects such as ethnicity, race, religion, and culture. SMA Muhammadiyah Jayapura City is a school established by the Muhammadiyah organization based on Islamic ideology, but the school is still open to anyone who wants to study at the school, including non-Muslim students. This can create its own challenges in providing fair and inclusive services for non-Muslim students. This study aims to (1) describe the variety of multiculturalism in SMA Muhammadiyah Jayapura City (2) describe the services to non-Muslim students at SMA Muhammadiyah Jayapura City (3) describe the behavior shown by non-Muslim students at SMA Muhammadiyah Jayapura City. Through a qualitative approach and data collection through in-depth interviews and observations, this study gained an in-depth understanding of the variety of multiculturalism, services, and behaviors of non-Muslim students. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The validity of the data was carried out by triangulating sources and techniques. The results of the study show that SMA Muhammadiyah Jayapura shows multicultural diversity in religious (Islamic-Christian), ethnic (Javanese, Papuan, etc.), and economic aspects (ability-based tuition policy). However, services for non-Muslim students still have structural gaps: (1) The unavailability of special worship spaces and non-Muslim religious teachers, contrary to Law No. 20 of 2003; (2) Although consistent in academic equality (reliability), non-Muslim students are only required to attend PAI lessons without a substantial understanding. On the other hand, schools provide responsive services (minority religious holidays, schedule adjustments), justice guarantees (freedom not to wear the hijab), and empathy (tuition discounts/meal vouchers). The response of non-Muslim students was characterized by harmonious interaction, compliance with the rules (despite being constrained by attendance due to distance), and active tolerance by respecting Muslim worship and participating in Islamic celebrations.
