Abstract

Self-awareness helps individuals to appreciate diversity in religious thought and practice. Meanwhile, in the spirit of nationalism, this means being able to respect different national identities and interests without demeaning or ignoring religious beliefs. This research raises the urgency of understanding the teachings of Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah (Aswaja) and the spirit of nationalism in the context of facing the caliphate movement in Islam, as well as the mediating role of self-awareness in these dynamics. The research aims to understand how Aswaja teachings and the spirit of nationalism influenced the caliphate movement, as well as how self-awareness mediates the influence of both. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving 97 students from Ma Ma'arif Nahdlatul Ummah using a stratified random sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out through the use of a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis uses descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The research results show that Aswaja teachings and the spirit of nationalism influenced the caliphate movement, with self-awareness mediating the influence of both. The implications of this research are important for developing strategies to prevent radicalization and extremism, as well as strengthening interreligious and intercultural dialogue. Recommendations include developing educational programs that promote the values of tolerance and pluralism, as well as involving religious leaders and community leaders in these efforts.

Abstract

The study emphasizes the significance of Nahwu knowledge in enhancing Arabic language skills during the educational process, particularly at the Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris State Islamic University in Samarinda. Notably, Nahwu teachers encounter challenges related to time efficiency in teaching and limited learning resources for students. Concurrently, technological advancements offer solutions to these issues, promising improved time management and enhanced access to learning materials. In response, this research focuses on enriching Lectora Inspire's capabilities for Nahwu practice. The research adopts the Research and Development (R&D) approach, employing the ADDIE model. Data collection involves observation, interviews, questionnaires, and testing, with participants from the Arabic Language Teaching Department. The outcomes encompass the development of the Lectora Inspire method using the ADDIE model, including analysis, design, development, application, and evaluation stages. Validation results indicate the product's excellence, with high ratings from design and content experts, grammar teachers, and students. Furthermore, the effectiveness of utilizing Lectora Inspire for grammar exercises is demonstrated through t-test results, signifying a statistically significant improvement (Sig value of 0.017 < 0.05). This research contributes valuable insights into optimizing technology for Nahwu education, addressing challenges faced by teachers and students alike.

Abstract

Study This was carried out in order to find out what kind of impact and influence it had on increasing students' understanding of cultural preservation and advancing national culture through learning with a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Project Based Learning (PjBL) model based on Scratch coding products. This research method is a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research. The subjects or data sources for this research were Pancasila education teachers, and class VIII A students at SMPN 1 Labuapi, and to strengthen the research results, informants were determined or acted as learning reviewers who had an understanding related to the learning being carried out. The informants or reviewers for this research were determined with special considerations, were not haphazard, and could be accounted for. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques (diagnostic assessment), questionnaires (to measure student achievement), interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the Kemmis McTaggart model which took place in four cycles, namely Planning, Implementation, Observation and reflection. This research shows that learning using the PjBL model STEM approach based on coding scratch products has a significant impact significant In increasing students' understanding regarding the preservation and advancement of national culture which is able to provide a better learning experience, systematic understanding and 21st century abilities, it can also be seen from the high level of enthusiasm and motivation for students to learn.

Abstract

This article explains the problems faced by students in understanding the jumlah al-ismiyyah in class VII MTs Al-Ittihadiyah students. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method with data collection techniques using direct interviews with 32 students. The findings in this research, firstly, students have difficulty recognizing sentence forms in Arabic, secondly students tend to be able to just read Arabic text without knowing what position the words are in the sentence, thirdly students tend to have difficulty distinguishing between mubtada' and khobar in a sentence. A new discovery in this research is that there are students' misunderstandings in studying the material on the number of al-ismiyyah. Students tend to be indoctrinated that every word at the beginning of a sentence must occupy the position of mubtada' and the words after it must occupy the position of khabar.

Abstract

This study addresses the teaching of Islamic History at Gontor Two for Girls, where traditional lecture methods have led to declining student engagement and performance. Specifically, the average initial score of class 3F students in the academic year 1443-1444 was 2.57, or 65%, indicating a need for improvement in learning outcomes. To address this issue, the study explores the effectiveness of the VAK (Visualization, Auditory, and Kinesthetics) Learning Strategy in enhancing student engagement and achievement. The research, conducted as Classroom Action Research following Kemmis & McTaggart’s model, involved planning, action, observation, and reflection over two cycles. The findings revealed that student activeness improved from 53% in the first cycle to 80% in the second cycle. Moreover, student learning outcomes saw significant improvement, with 37.14% of students meeting the average standard in the first cycle, increasing to 88.57% by the second cycle. Based on these results, the study recommends that students actively engage in lessons and that teachers adopt the VAK strategy, particularly for Islamic History subjects, to enhance both engagement and learning outcomes.
