Abstract

This research discusses the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in Arabic language education and the transformation of Arabic meaning through AI. It also discusses the challenges and opportunities presented by AI in Arabic language education. Using the library research method, this study collects and analyzes various relevant literature sources to understand how AI can improve the Arabic language learning process. The results show that AI can improve the effectiveness of Arabic language learning by providing an interactive, diverse, and engaging platform, as well as providing quick and accurate responses to students. However, the research also found that there are some challenges presented by AI, such as the limited validity of information and the potential for cheating. The research also highlights the importance of accessibility of digital learning resources and interactive learning experiences that can motivate students in learning Arabic. Therefore, this study recommends that AI should be used effectively and responsibly in Arabic language education.

Abstract

Morphology is a branch of Arabic which studies the forms of words and their formation. This study aims to examine the relationship between the mastery of Arabic morphology and the speaking ability of students of Darun Nun Islamic Boarding School in Sukun Malang. This study uses mixed methods explanatory sequential design research method, because it wants to see the relationship of morphology to speaking ability, which is obtained from a combination of quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The sample consists of female students of the boarding school who are randomly selected with data collection in the form of a morphology mastery test and also a test of Arabic speaking ability. The results showed that the correlation coefficient between the mastery of Arabic morphology and speaking ability was calculated = 0.415, while rtabel = 0.456, this means that the two variables do not have a level of relationship. In the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.077 > 0.05, then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, meaning that the hypothesis proposed by the researcher cannot be accepted, which means that there is no relationship, and significant between the mastery of Arabic morphology and the speaking ability of students of Darun Nun Islamic Boarding School Sukun Malang. There are other factors that support the ability to speak Arabic at the Darun Nun Islamic Boarding School, including the habituation of speaking Arabic in their daily lives and following the recitation of several books and mastery of vocabulary. Where all of this is supported by an Arabic-speaking environment which includes watching movies, listening to music, or reading news in Arabic so that it can improve language understanding and help in imitating intonation and speaking styles. Abstract

Imla is one of the important skills in learning Arabic. However, many students have difficulty writing correctly, in writing letters, punctuation, and grammar. This ability often hinders students' ability to master Arabic in its entirety. Therefore, this study aims to optimize the application of the drill method (Repetitive exercise) in imla' learning as a solution to overcome this problem. This research is a literature study with data sources from scientific journals and books related to research. The study results show that linguistic problems in imla' learning is caused by students' lack of understanding of the rules of imla', such as writing similar letters, writing ta', and writing hamzah. In addition, the mother tongue is also one of the factors that cause students to have difficulty transliterating the speech they hear. The way to optimize the drill method to overcome Arabic language problems, especially in writing, is to determine specific learning objectives, select practice materials that suit the needs and abilities of learners, and vary drill method techniques with other learning techniques or methods.

Abstract

The teaching of Arabic at the elementary level, particularly in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), faces various challenges that affect its effectiveness. This study aims to identify the main challenges in teaching Arabic at MI Tarbiyatul Huda Mergosono Malang as a representation of schools with limited resources. A descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design was used to collect data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the primary challenges include low teacher competency, lack of student motivation, limited learning facilities, suboptimal curriculum implementation, and minimal external support from parents and the government. These factors are interconnected, creating a vicious cycle that is difficult to break without strategic intervention. Based on these findings, several recommendations are proposed, such as intensive teacher training, the provision of relevant learning media, and collaborative programs involving schools, parents, and the government. This research provides practical insights for improving the quality of Arabic language teaching in MIs with similar conditions, thereby fostering a generation that not only understands Arabic as a means of worship but also as a tool for global communication.

Abstract

Technology is one of the most important things produced by humans in this digital era with the aim of providing data that is useful for increasing productivity and transforming science and culture. However, technological developments in the field of Arabic language teaching have not been carried out optimally so that it has a positive impact on the activation of Arabic language teaching for non-Arabic speakers. This study aims to describe the potential of Chat-GPT technology to design Arabic language teaching for non-Arabic speakers. The researcher uses a qualitative approach and a descriptive research methodology. The data is analyzed continuously starting from the process of data collection, condensation, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The result of this research is that artificial intelligence technology in the form of Chat-GPT can be used to design Arabic language teaching for non-Arabic speakers, where the Chat-GPT program can be used in five fields, namely: seeking new knowledge information, planning Arabic language teaching, and designing interesting and appropriate learning materials, writing Arabic research articles, and designing Arabic language tests. The conclusion of this study confirms that technological developments in the digital era contribute to facilitating the process of teaching Arabic for non-Arabic speakers.
