Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan paling umum yang dilakukan siswa. Metodologi dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Dalam pengumpulan data digunakan teknik observasi, teks tulis, dokumentasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak kesalahan dalam penulisan teks laporan. Peneliti menemukan sebelas kesalahan umum yang dilakukan siswa saat menulis, yaitu omitting word, word choice, spelling, adding a word, punctuation, incomplete sentence, singular-plural, word order, capitalization, article, dan word form. Jenis kesalahan yang paling dominan dilakukan siswa adalah omitting word dengan total sebelas kesalahan. word choice dan spelling dengan total delapan kesalahan. yang ketiga adalah adding a word dengan total lima kesalahan. Berikut ini adalah punctuation dan incomplete sentence dengan jumlah tiga kesalahan yang sama. kemudian yang kelima adalah singular- plural, word order, dan capitalization dengan total dua kesalahan. kesalahan terendah terakhir yang dilakukandengan jumlah satu kesalahan. Kemudian ada dua jenis sumber kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa saat menulis, yaitu intralingual transfer dengan jumlah kesalahan terbanyak 36 yang masuk dalam kategori ini. Sumber kedua adalah transfer antarbahasa dengan total sepuluh kesalahan.

Abstract

The research objectives are (1) to explain how the use of standard language in the discussion of class IX students of Madrasah Aliyah Ibn Khaldun Bobaneigo West Halmahera. (2) Describe the extent to which the use of standard language in the discussion of class IX students of Madrasah Aliyah Ibun Khaldun Bobaneigo West Halmahera. The method used in this research is quantitative description method. The population and sample in this study were all students of Class XI Madrasah Aliyah Ibn Khaldun Bobaneigo, North West Halmahera, totaling 25 students. Data analysis is quantitative or statistical. Based on data analysis and conclusions can be seen (1) Based on the results of the initial test, class XI students of Madrasah Aliyah Ibnu Khaldun Bobaneigo West Halmahera obtained a score range of 81- 100 very good qualifications amounted to 4 students by 20%, students who obtained a score range of 71-80 good qualifications amounted to 4 students by 20%, students who obtained a score range of 61-70 sufficient qualifications amounted to 2 students by 10%, and students who obtained a range of a score of 50-60 lacking qualifications amounted to 15 students by 50%, and (2) The final test results showed that the class XI Madrasah Aliyah Ibnu Khaldun Bobaneigo West Halmahera had been able to use standard language, students who obtained a score range of 81-100 qualified very well ( SB) as many as 5 students by 25%, students who get a score range of 71-80 good qualifications (B) as many as 5 students of the same size r 25%, students who get a score range of 61-70 are quite good (CB) as many as 15 students are 75%, and not students who get a score range of 50-60 have poor qualifications (K).

Abstract

Madrasah Tsanawiyah Sahabat Cendikia (MTs SC) Ternate is one of the schools that has not been accredited. Actually, the eight components of the national education standard have been implemented by MTs SC, but the documents and activity reports are not well administered. The results of interviews with partner madrasah principals obtained the same problem, namely the low value of each component of the SNP which refers to the accreditation instrument. Training programs and assistance in the preparation of accreditation forms by the community service team are the solutions offered to help partner school problems. The stages of this community service program include: (1) the training stage, (2) the stage of assisting the preparation of the accreditation form, (3) the stage of assisting the fulfillment of the physical documents of accreditation, (4) the evaluation stage. Training in the fulfillment of physical documents and supporting documents provides understanding and skills to the form drafting team in preparing physical documents and supporting documents in accordance with technical instructions and a list of needs that have been made previously. Training through tutorials on how to fill out instruments through the IASP 2020 application provides understanding and skills to the form-writing team on how to use the application

Abstract

This study aims at investigate the preference of teachers professional education program (PP) students toward the effectiveness of the PPG program. The effectiveness and the appropriateness were assessed in two variables, namely the material and the strategy given. This research applied qualitative descriptive design by involved 100 students as the sample. Furthermore, the data was collected through Questionnaire in bases from Google Form-based survey which was adopted from PPG Program Evaluation questionnaire from the Ministry of Education. This study found that 80% and 13% of alumni said that the PPG content such as neither the material nor the strategy were in line with the needs of pre- service English teachers. In sum, from the result, it could be outlined that as many as 93% students satisfied with the Teacher Professional Education Program. Therefore, the program of Teacher Professional Education could be assumed had positive impact.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) The effectiveness of the physics learning model using the PDEODE (Predict-Discuss-Explain-Observe-Discuss-Explain) learning model and the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model on the physics learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 5 Kota Ternate Academic Year 2021/2022. 2) Student activities on the implementation of the PDEODE learning model (Predict-Discuss-Explain-Observe-Discuss-Explain) and the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the physics learning outcomes of Class VII students of SMP Negeri 5 Ternate City for the 2021/2022 academic year. The type of research used is experimental and design research. The population in this study were class VII students who were in SMP Negeri 5 Ternate City, amounting to 130 spread over 5 classes and the sample in this study was part of the population, namely 26 students in class VII-4 as the experimental class I by applying the PDEODE learning model and 26 students of class VII-3 as experimental class II by applying the PBL learning model with the research design used is one-group pretest-posttest. The instrument used in this study was a multiple-choice test for cognitive learning outcomes and non-test in the form of student activity sheets. Data analysis used IBM SPSS 20.0, which is a parametric statistical test to test the hypothesis.

Abstract

This research is focused on elementary school students multiple mathematical representations through realistic mathematics education on fractions lesson. The problem that will be solved is "what is the ability of multiple mathematical representations of fourth grade elementary school students through realistic mathematics education on the concept of fractions and equivalent fractions?" This research was conducted at public school 1 Ternate City. The research subjects were 4 students, one high-ranking student, two medium-ranking students, and one low-ranking student. The research was conducted in two learning actions. The results of data analysis found: (1) high-ranking students (S1), from the beginning of first action to the end of second action, liked to study in groups. In the first action the percentage of mathematical representation ability to the ideal maximum score is 100% both when working on the LKPD and in the final test of first action. The mode of representation ability level is at level 4 (creating and using representations correctly); (2) students of moderate rank (S2 and S3), enjoy working in groups. The average percentage of achievement of the mathematical representation ability score by masters working on the LKPD is 94% and at the end of the action test it is 100%. The percentage of achievement of the mathematical representation ability score by S3 doing LKPD is 99.5% and at the end of the action test is 96%. S2 and S3 mathematical representation ability level mode is at level 4; (3) low-ranking students (S4) who like to work alone. The average percentage of achievement scores of mathematical representation abilities by S4 working on LKPD is 72% and on the final test of action 78%; (4) students enjoy learning the concept of fractions and equivalent fractions through realistic mathematics education. The use of bread model props for the concept of fractions and or equivalent fractions makes students actively work in pairs and enjoy learning; (5) students are able to use props to solve problems, (6) students are able to manipulate images to solve problems.

Abstract

These study aims are (1) to determine student learning activities by applying group work methods in class IV SD Negeri 50 Ternate City (2) to find out what student learning activities are through the application of group work methods to class IV SD Negeri 50 Ternate City. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used in this research are, observation, interview, and documentation. This study indicates students' activeness in learning PPKN by applying the group work method in class IV SD Negeri 50 Ternate City. That is, some factors that cause students to be active in PPKN learning are before learning, the teacher should give directions first regarding the material to be discussed later, and if the material is related to the rights and obligations of the teacher, always provide examples that fit / easy so that students quickly understand the material. The factors from the family environment are (students/parents) who have limited cellphones if students get assignments related to the national anthem, students must ride or borrow friends' cellphones, students who do not have internet/data packages, some parents who are busy working (traders) so that they cannot help students in completing their homework (PR). The other factors that cause student activity in PPKN lessons are (that some students already understand Indonesian history, some already understand and have memorized the points of Pancasila, memorize national songs, already understand the rights and obligations).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze (1) the implementation of academic supervision of the principals of public high school in Ternate; (2) the obstacles are faced by the principals of public high school in Ternate in carrying out academic supervision and (3) the principals' have an efforts to overcome the obstacles in implementing academic supervision in Public High Schools in Ternate. The approach in this research is qualitative. Data sources: principals, teachers and students. The results of this study indicate that (1) the implementation of academic supervision by the principal of a public high school in Ternate carried out simultaneously according to their functions and roles as supervisors. Activities carried out by school principals as supervisors include developing and strengthening teacher competency capacities within the scope of curriculum development, teaching and learning processes, solving teaching difficulties, teacher mediation in solving teacher and student problems in schools, (2) the obstacles are faced by the principals of  public high school in Ternate to implementing academic supervision is the limited time for the principal in escorting and fostering teachers during the implementation of learning in the classroom, limited school facilities and infrastructure . In addition, some teachers are reluctant to be supervised, they view that supervision is still considered as an effort to reveal the weaknesses of teachers in carrying out their duties and (3) an effort to overcome obstacles in the implementation of academic supervision by principals of public high school in Ternate is to carry out academic strengthening, such as training to increase teachers’ Professional competence and pedagogical teachers in order to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the variation problem based learning model with the implementation of Ice Breaker towards student’s learning outcomes of class 11 IPA at SMA Negeri 3 Taliabu Utara about chemical equilibrium. The type of research used in this study is experimental research with a one group pretest posttest design. The samples of this study were 20 students of class 11 IPA at SMA Negeri 3 North Taliabu which were selected by using saturated sampling technique. The instruments used in this Study were in the form of essay questions consisting of 8 items to measure students’ learning outcomes and observation sheet to measure of the effective and psychomotor domains. The data analysis technique used in this study was inferential statistical analysis using SPSS 21.0. The results of analysis showed that there effect of variation problem based learning model with the implementation of Ice Breaker towards students’ learning outcomes of class 11 IPA at SMA Negeri 3 North Taliabu about chemical equilibrium, with the results of hypothesis test obtained:tcount<ttable or -8.205<1.729, meanwhile the results of affective domain anlysis reached 53 and psychomotor domain reached 53.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the difficulties of students' mathematical reflective thinking in solving linear programming problems. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are test instruments, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data exposure, data triangulation and conclusion drawing. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 Ternate City, totaling 24 students, then representatives were selected based on the categories of mathematical ability, high, medium and low. The results showed that students with high mathematical ability had difficulty in reflective thinking, namely, 1) difficulties in connecting new knowledge with previous understanding, students needed accuracy in translating story questions into mathematical models, 2) difficulties in evaluating aspects of the completion process, students had difficulty remembering. return to function graph material to solve problems using the graph method. Students with moderate mathematical ability, 1) difficulty in connecting new knowledge with previous understanding, students need to be thorough in solving contextual problems, 2) difficulty in finding relationships and formulating solutions, students find it difficult to recall function graph material, difficult to shade the solution area, 3 ) difficulties in evaluating the aspect of the completion process, students find it difficult to prove the truth of the answers using the graphical method. Students with low mathematical ability, 1) difficulty in connecting new knowledge with previous understanding, students find it difficult to translate story questions into mathematical models, difficult to recall material on a two-variable linear inequality system, 2) difficulty in finding relationships and formulating solutions, students have difficulty find coordinate points, draw graphs, find intersection points, substitute corner points into objective functions. 3) difficulty in evaluating aspects of the completion process, students find it difficult to prove the truth of the answers obtained by the graphical method. The difficulties experienced by students in reflective thinking were caused by students not remembering the previous material related to linear programming, as well as students' difficulties in the dimensions of fact, concept and procedural knowledge.
