Abstract

This research aims to explain the stages of planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the school partnership program with parents during distance learning. This research used qualitative and descriptive approaches. The subjects are the school principal, five subject teachers, one deputy principal, two representatives of students' parents, one head of administration, and two school committee members. The data are collected using participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The data are analyzed through three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification.The findings indicate that during the planning stage, the partnership team has prepared some actions such as 1) first-day school activities; 2) parental activities; 3) inspirational activities; 4) parents’ involvement in self-development activities and 5) social activities. At the implementation stage, the school partnership team, along with the students’ parents, carries out some activities which involve the parents' association and school committee members based on the action plan that has been set previously. The monitoring process shows that the partnership program involves the parents' associations, the school committee members, and the teachers. The evaluation step shows that the action plan has been implemented effectively despite some issues.

Abstract

Learning local content builds national character, because it pays attention to environmental characteristics and local culture. This study aims to determine the application of character education to students based on local wisdom in the Riau Malay learning process. This research is ethnographic and qualitative with the principal, 7 class teachers, and students as subjects. The research instrument consists of observation, interviews, documentation. The results of this study have been carried out well based on local wisdom in Malay culture learning at SDN 183 Pekanbaru including being religious, honest, disciplined, social care, responsibility, environmental care, independent and respectful.

Abstract

As a SEAMEO Centre with a mandate to enhance the competence of science teachers and educational personnel in Southeast Asia, SEAMEO QITEP in Science (SEAQIS) consistently develops programs in line with the current trends in education, one of which is STEM Education. Using a descriptive method, this article aims to provide an overview of the STEM program developed by SEAQIS and its implementation in Indonesia from 2016 to 2023. There are 92 SEAQIS programs related to enhancing the competence of science teachers and educational personnel in STEM learning in Indonesia, with a total of 8,388 participants. Overall, from 2016 to 2023, SEAQIS has been able to provide competence enhancement services in STEM learning to science teachers and educational personnel in 35 provinces in Indonesia, with the majority of participants (59.41%) coming from West Java province.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan media mengembangkan evaluasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbasis aplikasi Quizizz. Metode yang digunakan dalam Research And Development dengan model rancangan instruksional ADDIE ( Analysis, Design, Develop, Implemet dan Evaluate ). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kusioner atau angket untuk menguji kelayakan media yang diisi oleh peserta didik dan diolah menggunakan Microsoft Excel dengan hasil observasi dari validasi ahli yang menghasilkan kelayakan media kuis terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Arab sangat layak dengan presentasi 84.60%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media evaluasi pembelajaran dengan Quizizz dapat digunakan untuk evaluasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab salah satunya untuk penguasaan mufrodat. Hasil uji aplikasi Quizizz pada kelas VII MTs Negeri 1 Kota Gorontalo diperoleh skor baik sampai dengan sangat baik dengan hasil berdasarkan nilai hasil penilaian penguasaan mufrodat dari angka 40% sampai 100% yang menyatakan hasil baik untuk menggunakan aplikasi Quizizz pada evaluasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Hasil uji evaluasi sumantif dari pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Quizizz memperoleh nilai sebesar 66% dari nilai awal evaluasi formatif senilai 56% yang menyatakan bahwa media terbuka dengan aplikasi Quizizz dapat meningkatkan penguasaan mufrodat siswa MTs Negeri 1 Kota Gorontalo.

Abstract

: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi peningkatan penguasaan konsep mahassiwa melalui program resitasi berbasis multi representasi disertai umpan balik dan soal penguatan. Metode yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah mixed methods dengan desain penelitian Embedded Experimental Model yang dilakukan pada 84 mahasiswa prodi S1 Fisika Universitas Negeri Malang yang mengikuti mata kuliah Fisika Dasar tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan konsep momentum dan impuls mahasiswa meningkat, ditandai dengan peralihan jawaban mahasiswa pada soal dengan konteks menentukan impuls pada permasalahan terkait dan menentukan kekekalan momentum pada permasalahan terkait dan rata-rata siswa dari 30,8 menjadi sebesar 52,8.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) Differences in biology learning outcomes between students taught with PJBL (project based learning) learning model and biology learning outcomes of students taught with PBL (problem based learning) learning model (2) Differences in biology learning outcomes between students who have a visual learning style and who have an auditorial learning style, (3) interaction between learning models and learning styles on biology learning outcomes. The research method used a quasi-experimental method with a research design =faktorial 2 x 2. The data analysis technique used two-way ANOVA at a significant level of 0.05. The results showed that: From the results of the hypothesis obtained sig value in hypothesis 1, namely the learning model 0.005 <0.004 means it can be concluded that there is a difference in the ability of learning outcomes given the PJBL AND PBL learning model, from the sig value in hypothesis 2 learning style 0.671>0.005 it can be concluded that there is no difference in the ability of learning outcomes of students with audio and visual learning styles and from the significant value in hypothesis 3 interaction between learning models and learning styles with a value of 0.766>0.005 there is no effect of interaction

Abstract

This article examines the impact of Cameroon's diverse social fabric on the successful adoption of the French and British colonial educational systems. Relying on the descriptive analytical approach, the historical and social contexts that contributed to local communities’ acceptance of colonial education were studied, with a focus on cultural values, ethnic, and religious diversity. The research aims to provide a comprehensive view on how education and educational policies are affected by cultural and social diversity in Cameroon. The research began with a historical background on ethnic and cultural diversity in pre-colonial Cameroon, pointing to the nature of the diverse social fabric and its role in shaping societies’ response to new changes. The article then described the French and British educational systems, focusing on the ideological differences between French centralization and British decentralization. The third part of the article focused on the interaction between the two educational systems and local values, highlighting how Islamic, Christian, and traditional societies accepted the new education. The fourth part dealt with an analysis of the political situation and the government's avoidance of ethnic conflicts resulting from the adoption of a local language in education. Finally, the fifth part reviewed the colonial educational legacy and its impact on the current educational system, pointing out the challenges and disparities of the present and future opportunities

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penyebab kesulitan belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri Rejowinangun Selatan 1. Desain penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, metode pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penyebab kesulitan belajar IPA mempunyai beberapa faktor-faktor yaitu; 1) Faktor fisiologis seperti saat kondisi sakit, kurang sehat, serta keterbatasa dalam pengelihatan serta pendengaran membuat siswa kesulitan dalam berkonsentrasi pada saat pembelajaran IPA. 2) Faktor sekolah seperti waktu pembelajaran, dan guru hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan hasil observasi maupun wawancara yang telah dilakukan pada siswa kelas V sebagai objek penelitian dimana seorang guru saat penyampaian materi kurang menarik perhatian siswa dan waktu pembelajaran juga mempengaruhi konsentrasi belajar siswa. 3) Faktor keluarga peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan minat belajar IPA di rumah juga belum terlaksana dengan baik yang dipengaruhi oleh perekonomian keluarga, suasana rumah yang kurang kondusif.

Abstract

Objective study This is For know strengthening mark character Spirit nationality in learning education citizenship with method snowball throwing . Method used  in study This is method descriptive qualitative . Study carried out at school and studied inhabitant school in accordance with strengthening mark character Spirit nationality in learning education citizenship . Character value Spirit nationality integrated through syntax learning with method snowball throwing consisting of of 6 steps namely 1) convey purpose and motivate students , 2) present information , 3) organizing student to in groups learning , 4) guiding group work and study , 5) evaluation , and 6) provide assessment / reward . Research results This seen of the 3 meetings produced from analysis qualitative meeting First found 60% continued meeting second with percentage mark character 72% and ends at the meeting third with results mark character by 86%. Based on results the can concluded that adoption mark character Spirit nationality with method snowball throwing efficient and capable integrated in learning education citizenship.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kesadaran metakognisi dan literasi digital dengan hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian menggunakan seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 232 siswa kelas VIII. Data diambil menggunakan instrumen angket kesadaran metakognisi dan literasi digital serta dokumentasi hasil belajar IPA. Data angket hasil penelitian diubah dengan Meassurement Sucssesive Interval. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kesadaran metakognisi dan hasil belajar IPA, literasi digital dengan hasil belajar IPA, serta kesadaran metakognisi dan literasi digital dengan hasil belajar IPA. Nilai koefisien korelasi secara berurutan sebesar 0,260; 0,278; 0,322. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 10,4%.
