Abstract

Hipertensi atau tekanan darah tinggi merupakan suatu penyakit kardiovaskular paling banyak diderita oleh masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil pengkajian pada lansia di RW 02 Meranti Pandak di dapatkan hasil bahwa 15 dari 20 orang lansia memiliki tekanan darah yang lebih tinggi dari tekanan darah normal. Masyarakat mengatakan bahwa kurang mengerti tentang konsumsi obat hipertensi. Kurangnya pengetahuan terkait obat hipertensi membuat masyarakat tidak mengerti juga mengenai penggunaan obat, serta kandungan dan efek samping dari obat yang digunakan untuk mengatasi hipertensi. Kegiatan penyuluhan kesehatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai pentingnya mengonsumsi obat hipertensi pada lansia di RW 02 Kelurahan Meranti Pandak. Kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan penyuluhan menggunakan metode ceramah. Media yang digunakan adalah power point dan leaflet. Pengukuran peningkatan pengetahuan di ukur dengan pemberian kuesioner pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat yang hadir sebelum dan sesudah diberikan penyuluhan. Setelah penyuluhan didapatkan rata rata peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat sebelum penyuluhan 4.55 dan setelah penyuluhan 11.25. Puskesmas dan tenaga kesehatan lebih mengiatkan kegiatan penyuluhan terkait obat-obatan hipertensi di RW 02 Meranti Pandak

Abstract

Bullying in school environments is a serious issue frequently faced by adolescents, negatively impacting students' social and emotional development. This community service was conducted at SD Negeri 46 Pekanbaru to identify bullying issues and provide education on bullying prevention to students. The methods used included surveys, interviews, observations, and educational activities with lectures and animated video presentations. Pre-tests and post-tests were administered before and after the educational activities to measure the students' increased knowledge about bullying. The results indicated a significant improvement in students' understanding, with an average pre-test score of 70 increasing to 90.5 in the post-test. This educational intervention successfully raised students' awareness of bullying and prevention steps, creating a safer and more conducive learning environment.

Abstract

Pendahuluan : kanker payudara merupakan salah satu penyakit yang memiliki angka kejadian tinggi di indonesia. Kemoterapi adalah salah satu metode pengobatan utama yang digunakan untuk mengatasi kanker payudara namun efek samping kemoterapi sering kali menyebabkan ketidaknyamanan fisik dan psikologis bagi pasien, kondisi inilah yang dapat berkontribusi terhadap munculnya gejala depresi pada pasien kanker payudara. Metode : penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 100 responden. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil : hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua pasien berusia di atas 36 tahun dengan mayoritas berpendidikan diploma atau sarjana, dan sebagian besar bekerja sebagai Ibu Rumah Tangga. Efek samping kemoterapi terbagi hampir merata antara adaptif (51%) dan maladaptif (49%). Sementara itu, tingkat depresi pasien menunjukkan bahwa 53% mengalami depresi berat dan 47% mengalami depresi sedang. Analisis Chi Square mengindikasikan adanya hubungan signifikan antara efek samping kemoterapi dan tingkat depresi pasien (p = 0.007), menunjukkan bahwa efek samping yang maladaptif berkontribusi pada tingkat depresi yang lebih tinggi. Kesimpulan : Dapat disimpulkan terhadapat hubungan efek samping kemoterapi dengan tingkat depresi pada pasien kanker payudara dan terdapat hubungan antara efek samping kemoterapi terhadapat tingkat depresi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan tingkat stres dan tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa profesi ners. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif korelasi dan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 70 responden mahasiswa profesi ners menggunakan teknik total sampling.Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuesioner. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis bivariat menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan responden yang mendapatkan dukungan sosial teman sebaya yang cukup sebanyak 56 orang (80,0%), responden yang mengalami tingkat stres ringan sebanyak 32 orang (45,7%), dan yang mengalami tingkat kecemasan sedang sebanyak 29 orang (41,4%). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan tingkat stres profesi ners dengan p value (0,005) < α (0,05) dan hubungan yang bermakna antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan tingkat kecemasan profesi ners dengan p value (0,028) < α (0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini dukungan sosial teman sebaya dapat meminimalisir gangguan psikologis yang berupa stres dan kecemasan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Environmental factors, such as peers, the school environment and internet use play a major role in the mental development of adolescents. Teenagers with low self-determination are unable to determine the direction of their lives and will easily be carried away by negative influences from the environment. Objective: This community service activity is aimed at honing self-determination skills so that teenagers will be able to determine their life goals and create decision for himself. Method: Activities were carried out in the coastal area of Pekanbaru City, Riau Provine The teenagers involved were 29 teenagers in RW 11 Sri Meranti Village with an age range of 12 – 18 years. Activities are carried out in 3 stages, firstly, education about adolescent mental health. Furthermore, the teenagers were given self-determination training and independent tasks to make the personal changes they want to achieve. Results: based on the results of the training, there was an increase in participants' knowledge about adolescent mental health and self-determination scores. Impact: Teenagers are able to recognize their own potential, make short-term and long-term plans for their lives and make commitments to the changes they want to make. Abstract

Stress is a problem that often arise due to an imbalance between demands and abilities, result in physical and psychological disorders. Prolonged stress experienced during adolescence can result in negative impacts such as depression. The aim of this service is to increase the knowledge and abilities of teenagers about stress and stress management among teenage students at Nurul Falah Middle School, Sialangrampai Village, Kulim, Pekanbaru City, Riau. The method used was lecture explanations, questions and answers and demonstrations given by the presenters to Nurul Falah Middle School students. US a result of this activity, it was found that there was a significant increase in knowledge, with the aver age participant understanding score increasing from 40 to 80. From these results, it can be concluded that health education is effective in increasing teenagers' knowledge regarding stress and how to manage stress in teenagers.

Abstract

Poor mental health can reduce employee job satisfaction and increase the risk of burnout. When employees are not feeling well mentally, they are more likely to experience burnout, which can lead to high employee turnover. This activity aims to increase workers' understanding of workplace anxiety and provide effective strategies for managing and overcoming the problem, in order to support better mental health. This activity uses lecture methods, interactive discussions, questions and answers and demonstrations or role plays of deep breathing techniques. The counseling went well and according to plan. Participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the counseling and actively participated in the discussion. After the participants did the technique taught, namely deep breathing relaxation, the participants looked more relaxed. It is hoped that the deep breathing relaxation technique is effective as a distraction from anxiety from the participants who attended.

Abstract

The stages of psychosocial development of school-age children are in the industrial phase, namely the ability to produce work, interact and achieve in learning. If school children are unable to achieve their development optimally, then school children will experience low self-esteem. Stimulation of moral and social development of school-age children is an important aspect in supporting psychosocial growth because it can affect social abilities in the future. Without proper stimulation, children can experience obstacles in development that can cause problems such as low self-esteem and lack of self-confidence. The purpose of this service is to stimulate the development of moral and social aspects of school-age children. The method used in this service activity is to carry out stimulation on 30 school-age children by providing stimulation on the moral and social development aspects of school-age children. The results of this service activity show that there is an increase in the moral aspect by 2.7% and the social aspect by 11.9% in school age children. Therefore, stimulation of the development of this aspect is recommended as a health promotion to improve the development of moral and social aspects of school-age children in the mental health service setting in the community.

Abstract

The inappropriate comprehension of family about treating mental disorders patients cause a bad mindset that can be seen by the family's assumption, this disease is an incurable disease so that the family tends to allow the patients as long as they don’t interfere.The aim of study determined the correlation of stigma with the family decisions making in treating mental disorders patients in the Mental Hospital of Lampung Regional 2022.The quantitative type study, analytical design with cross sectional method. The population were all of mental disorders patients in the Mental Hospital of Lampung Regional in July till April 2022, as many as 667 patients and the sample number of 123 respondents. In this study, the sampling technique used purposive sampling. Based on the statistical tests results, obtained p-values ​​was 0.001 (stigma) p-value < value (0.05) that there were a correlationof stigma status with the family decisions making in treating mental disorders patients in the Mental Hospital of Lampung Regional 2022.This study is expected to enable the families to make decisions in providing treatment.

Abstract

Mental health problems are very likely to occur in people who are adolescents. Poor communication between parents and adolescents can cause mental health problems, namely depression in adolescents. This study aims to determine the relationship between family communication patterns and depression of adolescents. This study used a quantitative research method with a cross sectional approach. The research sample was adolescents at SMA 8 Pekanbaru, as many as 308 people who were recruited using a stratified random sampling technique. The measurement tools used were Revised Family Communication Pattern (RFCP) and Children Depression Inventory (CDI). The statistical analysis used the chi square test. The results showed the most of respondents were female (56.8%), the most of respondents were 16 years old (40.9%), the most of respondents' family communication pattern were consensual (61.0%) and the most of respondents had depressive symptoms (50.6%). Based on the chi square test, it was concluded that p value = 0.003 (<0.05) means that there is a relationship between family communication patterns and depression of adolescents. Based on the results of the study, it is hoped that the school can actively facilitate ways to solve mental health problems, prevention strategies and appropriate treatment to overcome depression in adolescents and to the community can know the well family communication patterns so as to prevent mental health problems, especially depression in adolescents.
