Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of developing, guiding, and the effectiveness of modules and counseling for managing students' academic stress. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) with the Borg and Gall development model developed by Sugiyono. Analysis of the data used is for qualitative data using the steps of describing, classifying/categorizing, and connecting while for quantitative data using descriptive and inferential statistics. The subjects of this study consisted of material experts, media experts, practitioners, and class XI students of SMAN 1 Saguling. The results showed that the development process was carried out through 9 stages including (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, (6) product trial, (7) product revision, (8) use trial, (9) product revision. Then rely on the developed module, namely media experts by 95%, media experts by 100%, students during trials by 85%, students during trials by 90%. So that from the five assessments the module developed is included in the "Very Worthy" category. Then for the effectiveness of the developed module, it shows the value of sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So that the module developed is effective in managing academic stress for class XI students of SMAN 1 Saguling.

Abstract

Humans are motivated to maintain life and continue to develop for the better. As well as self-potential, self-potential is very important to develop students' skills and abilities, while delivering information on self-potential using digital poster media as a means of information that can be accessed easily. This article aims to find out the feasibility of developing digital poster media on the potential of class VIII SMP NEGERI 2 Padalarang students, using the research & development (RnD) method, with one of the stages used, namely the validation stage. The subjects of this research were two counseling guidance lecturers from IKIP Siliwangi as media and material validators and counseling guidance teachers at SMPN 2 Padalarang. The instrument is a validation questionnaire with descriptive statistical analysis in the form of percentage descriptive. The results of the study show that the material expert's feasibility test is 96.66% in the very feasible category, the media aspect based on the expert validator is 96.42% in the very feasible category, and the media and material aspect based on the practitioner is 93% in the very feasible category. That way, all aspects that are assessed get a very worthy category to be tested on students.

Abstract

This research based on the urgency of self efficacy academic performance level in psychology students University State of Malang which has the concept of wrong thinking. This study used one group pretest posttest design with six research subjects, and Wilcoxon test was chosen as data analysis in this study. The results showed that cognitive restructuring strategy in counseling process can improve self efficacy of student academic performance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of provision of guidance and counseling services at the early childhood level. The lack of enthusiasm for learning in children is also easily felt, so various methods or techniques are needed to help develop children's enthusiasm for learning at an early age level by carrying out guidance service activities. and appropriate counseling for early childhood. Reviewing this, the results obtained are that the implementation of early childhood guidance and counseling services in developing enthusiasm for learning can use the collaboration of various techniques or methods such as games and storytelling and is also supported by the provision of attractive service media so that children do not quickly feel bored or bored when delivering service takes place. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques, interviews and observations

Abstract

Abstract: The Guidance and Counseling service process at school plays a very important role in developing student character. This activity must begin with planning guidance and counseling activities by analyzing the needs of students. A counselor, specifically a guidance and counseling teacher, must have good management (management and regulation) in order to have good steps in implementing the program that will be created. Guidance and counseling teachers need to design annual, semi-annual, monthly, weekly and even daily programs and for the program to run it is necessary to adapt it to the functions of management, it must truly achieve the ideal functions of implementation, organizing, executing, supervising. Abstract

This article aims to examine the influence of religiosity and spirituality on the students' psychological well-being during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is a relational survey method. The participants of this research were 627 students who studied in universities located in Bandung and Cimahi. The universities included State Islamic University of Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, the Indonesian Education University, Jenderal Ahmad Yani University, and the Siliwangi Institute of Teacher Training and Education. The data were collected using a questionnaire instrument consisting of a questionnaire of religiosity, spirituality, and psychological well-being. The results showed that both religiosity and spirituality had an effect on psychological well-being. It is shown that religiosity had a higher effect than spirituality on students' psychological well-being during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This research was conducted on class XI IPS 2 MAN Cimahi City students in the 2023/2024 academic year. The aim is to improve students' career planning through group guidance services provided using modeling techniques, the method used is a mix method or a method that combines quantitative and qualitative data research. With a sequential explanatory design, the data collection technique used for quantitative research is using a distribution in the form of a questionnaire. Meanwhile, for collecting qualitative data, we used observation guidelines and interview guidelines with the guidance and counseling teacher and 2 students of class XI IPS 2. The research subjects were 10 students in the low category. The results of this research were carried out with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.002 <0.05. There has been a significant increase in group guidance services to improve student career planning. The obstacle faced during the writing process was time constraints considering that there were no special hours for counseling guidance services.

Abstract

This research highlights an important problem in the educational environment, namely the low social adjustment ability among class VIII students at SMAN 5 Cimahi. Using a Mix Method research method approach with an explanatory sequential design, this research aims to explore the effectiveness of group guidance services using problem solving techniques in improving students' social adjustment abilities. In a population of 120 students, the sample was selected using the simple random sampling method. Eight students were selected as the experimental group and eight other students as the control group. The research results show that group guidance services using problem solving techniques are effective in improving students' social adjustment abilities, as seen from the significant increase between the pre-test and post-test results. These results are also strengthened by statistical analysis, with significance values ​​indicating the effectiveness of applying problem solving techniques. The process of implementing group guidance services using problem solving techniques was considered successful, as seen from the interactive atmosphere and high enthusiasm created during the process. However, obstacles related to limited time for implementing services are a challenge for guidance and counseling teachers, while students face difficulties in opening up to each other. From these findings, it can be concluded that the group guidance approach with problem solving techniques has the potential to be a solution in improving students' social adjustment abilities in this school. However, it is necessary to consider ways to overcome the obstacles faced, such as more effective time management and building stronger social relationships among students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap secara mendalam fenomena overwork yang dialami oleh guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) di SMK Negeri 1 Haurwangi serta dampaknya terhadap kesejahteraan siswa. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung terhadap guru BK, kepala sekolah, serta lingkungan kerja sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja guru BK jauh melampaui rasio ideal, dengan dua guru BK harus menangani lebih dari 900 siswa. Kondisi ini menyebabkan pelayanan konseling tidak optimal dan berpotensi menurunkan kualitas kesejahteraan psikososial siswa. Untuk mengatasi situasi tersebut, guru BK menerapkan sejumlah strategi seperti menjalin kolaborasi dengan wali kelas dan pihak sekolah, manajemen waktu, serta penetapan prioritas layanan. Namun, sebagian strategi masih bersifat adaptif dan belum didukung secara struktural. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa dukungan kelembagaan dan sosial sangat penting dalam menanggulangi overwork, dan strategi pengurangan beban kerja harus menjadi bagian dari kebijakan sekolah untuk menjaga mutu layanan konseling serta kesejahteraan siswa secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

Adolescence is a critical developmental stage characterized by the search for identity and is vulnerable to identity crises. This study aims to examine the Guidance and Counseling (BK) service strategy in dealing with identity crises in grade VII students at SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi. The study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation studies, and literature studies. The results of the study showed that the identity crisis experienced by students was characterized by low self-confidence, confusion in determining interests and talents, and a tendency to withdraw from the social environment. BK teachers implemented various service strategies such as orientation services, information services, group guidance, reality counseling, and the use of psychological tests to help students understand themselves and increase self-confidence. In addition, the involvement of parents, subject teachers, and external parties are important supporting factors in handling cases. Despite challenges such as low student self-awareness and negative environmental influences, BK services at SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi are considered effective in helping students face identity crises and build positive self-identities.   Keywords: Identity Crisis, Adolescents, Guidance and Counseling
