Abstract

This research was conducted to find out and get a dose of organic fertilizer plus coal and dose of chemical fertilizers influential best to the growth and production of sweet corn (Zea Mays saccharata Sturt.). this research was conducted in one of the land owned farmers in the village srimenanti kecamatan Tanjung Lago kabupaten banyuasin Sumatra the South. From May to July 2019. The research method used in this study was Factorial Randomized Block Design with 9 combinations of 3 treatment replications and 4 sample plants. The treatment referred to is as follows: a. Organic Fertilizer Plus P1 = 250 kg / ha (4.375 g / plant), P2 = 500 kg / ha (87.5 g / plant), P3 = 750 kg / ha (13.125 g / plant). b. Compound NPK Chemical Fertilizer K1 = 100 kg / ha (1.75 g / plant), K2 = 150 kg / ha (2.625 g / plant), K3 = 200 kg / ha (3.5 g / plant). Organic fertilizer treatment plus dosage of 750 kg / ha (13.125 g / plant). The combination treatment of organic fertilizer plus coal compound chemical fertilizer with a dose of 750 kg / ha (13.125 g / plant) dose of 150 kg / ha (2.625 g / plant) gave the highest yield on the weight of cobs of sweet corn.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mentukan takaran pupuk organik cair kulit pisang kepok dan takaran  NPK  majemuk  yang  terbaik terhadap produksi tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan milik pertani yang terletak Kelurahan Sukajadi Kecamatan Talang kelapa Kabupaten Banyuasin Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan April sampai Agustus 2020. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan petak terbagi (Split Plot Design) terdapat 2 perlakuan di ulang 3 kali dan 5 tanaman contoh. Perlakuannya terdiri dari petak utama : Pupuk Organik Cair Kulit Pisang Kepok (O) yaitu O1 = 100 ml/L, O2 = 150 ml/L, O3= 200 ml/L. Anak petak : Pupuk NPK Majemuk (P) yaitu P1 = 25%, P2 = 50%, P3 = 75%. Peubah yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah jumlah umbi per rumpun (umbi), berat umbi per rumpun (g), berat umbi per petak (kg).  Secara tabulasi kombinasi pupuk organik cair  kulit pisang kepok  150 ml/L dengan pupuk NPK majemuk 75%  memberikan  hasil tertinggi  terhadap produksi tanaman bawang merah sebesar 1,13 kg/ petak setara dengan 11,30 ton/ha

Abstract

1 Ilir Urban Village is a village located on the Musi River edge. These Urban Village is quite broad, however underdeveloped area compared to other places in the city of Palembang. Many people live below the poverty line, lack green open space, and have inadequate educational facilities. Most of the population earns a living as laborers, while the women are ordinary housewives. To increase the income of homemakers in helping to improve the family's economy, we conduct training to increase community knowledge in red onion cultivation in polybags by utilizing a narrow yard of the house. The purpose of the activity is to provide motivation, knowledge, and skills to residents, especially housewives, by using the house's yard for onion cultivation to increase productivity and welfare. The methods used to achieve the objectives are surveys, counseling, and training the community on the use of yard land for onion cultivation in polybags and direct practice of red onion cultivation. Based on the process and results of the service that has been carried out, the training participants are very enthusiastic and understand and can carry out onion cultivation in polybags.

Abstract

Kedelai merupakan sumber gizi protein yang cukup tinggi dan paling murah.Kebutuhan kedelai tidak di imbangi dengan produksinya. Riset ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui jarak tanam terbaik dan cara pemupukan yang sesuai sehingga diperoleh pertumbuhan dan hasil kedelai yang maksimal serta interaksi antara kedua perlakuan tersebut. Jarak tanam berperan penting pada periode kritis tanaman kedelai.Selain itu cara pemupukan juga harus di perhatikan, karena kesalahan cara pemupukan akan berakibat kurangbaik bagi tanah dan tanaman. Masa riset ini berawal dari Juni hingga Agustus 2020. Riset ini menggunakan desain rancangan petak terbagi (Split Plot Design ) dengan 3 repetisi sehingga menghasilkan 27 petak. Aspek perlakuannya adalah :Jarak Tanam (J), J1=40 cm x 15 cm , J2 =40 cm x 20 cm , J3 = 40cm x 25 cm. Cara Pengaplikasian Pupuk(C), C1= Larikan, C2= Tugal, C3= Sebar. Peubah yang diobservasi pada riset ini yaitu Jumlah Polong Hampa (buah), Tinggi Tanaman (cm), Jumlah Polong Pertanaman (buah). Hasil Produksi Perpetak (Kg). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa interaksi antara tingkat jarak tanam dengan tingkat cara pengaplikasian pupuk anorganik tidak berpengaruh nyata pada peubah jumlah polong hampa, tinggi tanaman (cm) dan jumlah polong per tanaman.

One of the efforts to increase the yield and quality of fruit is through cultivators. The research was carried out from June to September 2019 in farmers' gardens in the village of Tanjung Steko, North Indralaya Km 32, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. This study used an experimental method with split plot design, namely pruning (P) as the main plot, P0 treatment without pruning, P1 with pruning, as subplots, namely the frequency of liquid fertilizer application (PPC) F1: 3 times, F2: 5times  and F3 : 7times giving PPC. Plant variables included plant length, number of primary branches, age of flowering, weight of plant fruit, weight of fruit per plot. The results showed that branch pruning on watermelon plants showed the highest yields and on the variables of height, number of branches, and fruit weight, while the best application of liquid fertilizer was given with a frequency of 7 times. The highest weight yield was through branch pruning with a frequency of 7 times, that is 4.78 kg

Palembang: Unsri Press.Dry land is one of the suboptimal land, but it has relatively good prospect to be used as agricultural land, especially onion plants, but production is still low, therefore one of the efforts that can be done with the application of livestock waste fertilizer. This study aims to obtain the best type of compost from manure waste at various levels of chemical fertilization on the growth and production of shallot plants (Allium ascalonicum L.). This research has been carried out on farmer's land located on Sukarela road, Kelurahan Kebun Bunga, Kec. Sukarami, Km 7 Palembang South Sumatra. This research was conducted from April to July 2018. This study used a Split-plot design consisting of 12 treatment combinations and 3 replications. As the main plot of compost (K) treatment: K1 = compost of chicken manure waste; K2= compost of cow dung waste; K3 = goat manure waste compost and treatment of subplots chemical fertilization rate (N): N = 0% fertilization dose; N1= 25% fertilizer dose; N2= 50% fertilizer dose; N3= 75% fertilizer dose. The observational variables in this study include: plant height (cm), number of tubers per clump (tuber) and tuber weight per clump (g). The results showed that a combination of chicken manure (10 tons/ha) and chemical fertilizer with 75% (urea 150 kg/ha, SP36 225 kg/ha and KCl 150 kg/ha) from the recommended dosage gave the best growth and production on shallot plants with bulb production of 2.67 g/m2 or 13.35 tons/ha.Keywords: chemical fertilization, compost animal manure, shallots

Abstract

Shallots are agricultural commodities that are always ordered, especially as a cooking spice. Without shallots, it feels as if there is something incomplete in the taste of the dish. To increase the production of shallots it is necessary to modify the cultivation. This study aims to determine the type of mulch and the dose of organic fertilizer from plant waste that has the best effect on the growth and production of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L). The research was carried out from April to July 2021 on the farmer's land, Jalan Sukarela Lr. Batujajar RT.18 KM 7 Sukarame Subdistrict, Palembang. This study used the Experimental Method with a Divided Plot Design consisting of 12 treatment combinations which were repeated 3 times to obtain 36 plots. Factor I = Mulch Type (M) consisting of 3 levels: M1 = Black Silver Plastic Organic Mulch, M2 = Water Hyacinth Organic Mulch, M3 = Jengkol Bark Organic Mulch. Factor II = Plant-waste Organic Fertilizer Dosage (L) consisting of 4 levels: L0 = Chemical Fertilizer According to Recommended Dosage, L1 = 5 tons/ha (1kg/plot), L2 = 10 tons/ha (2kg/plot) L3 = 15tons /ha (3kg/plot). The variables observed were plant height (cm), number of tubers per clump (tubers), tuber weight per plot (grams). The combination treatment of jengkol skin organic mulch with a dose of organic fertilizer from plant waste of 15 tons/ha (3kg/plot) gave the highest effect on the growth and production of shallots at 850.00 grams/plot or equivalent to 8.50 tons/ha.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan kelompok tani dengan sasaran Kelompok Tani Cemerlang Desa Panca Mulya, Kecamatan Air Kumbang, Kabupaten Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan merupakan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang didanai oleh LPPM Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang melalui skema Bina Desa dengan mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh kelompok tani Cemerlang yang berada di Desa Panca Mulya, kecamatan Air Kumbang, Kabupaten Banyuasin antara lain masih rendahnya ketrampilan petani dalam membuat pupuk organik cair denga bahan baku kotoran sapi serta terjadinya kelangkaan pupuk anorganik. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menjawab permasalahan kelompok tani tersebut yaitu dengan kegiatan pelatihan pemanfaatan kotoran sapi sebagai bahan baku pembuatan pupuk organik cair. Pupuk organik cair memanfaatkan sumber daya alam sekitar karena bahan baku yang digunakan relatif banyak di desa tersebut. Dengan adanya kegiatan pemberdayaan kelompok tani ini, anggota kelompok tani Cemerlang Desa Panca Mulya menjadi lebih terampil dan mampu membuat pupuk organik cair.

Abstract

Labels are an important factor in marketing a product, especially organic fertilizer products which have the provisions stipulated in the Minister of Agriculture No. 01 of 2019. This activity aims to provide knowledge about labels on organic fertilizer products and provide assistance in designing organic fertilizer labels. The method of implementing this service is in the form of socializing labels on organic fertilizers and assistance in designing organic fertilizer labels produced by Poktan Cemerlang as partners in this activity. The participants involved were 20 people who were members of the Cemerlang Poktan. The evaluation carried out in this activity was in the form of giving pre-test and post-test questionnaires related to understanding the labeling material on organic fertilizers. The results of this activity showed that there was an increase in participants' understanding of the labeling material for organic fertilizer products, from 24% (pre-test) to 77.5% (post-test). And Poktan Cemerlang has been able to design labels for liquid organic fertilizer products to be produced. However, for legality and distribution licenses that have not been completed on the label, it is hoped that there will be assistance for legality registration and distribution permits for organic fertilizer products so that they can be marketed.

Abstract

Organic waste in the form of vegetable and fruit residues from the Gandus market has a high potential to be used as liquid organic fertilizer with the help of Azospirillum bacteria and phosphate solvents.  The liquid organic fertilizer produced can be used as fertilizer for plants in farmers' yards and gardens and reduce environmental pollution as well as streamline the use of chemical fertilizers and its manufacture is practical and easy for the community to do.  The counseling was carried out in Karang Anyar Village, Gandus District, Palembang City from February to March 2019. The method was carried out by counseling and demonstrating how to make liquid organic fertilizer with the help of Azospirillum bacteria and phosphate solvent.  The community in Karang Anyar Village is very excited to receive knowledge in the utilization of organic waste into liquid organic fertilizer.
