Abstract

This study examines the efficiency gains in public administration through the implementation of digital technology in Labuhanbatu Regency, Indonesia. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach and guided by the Technology–Organization–Environment (TOE) framework, the research explores how digital platforms, mobile services, and organizational reforms have transformed bureaucratic processes. Key findings reveal substantial improvements in processing times, cost efficiency, citizen satisfaction, and staff productivity, supported by inclusive initiatives such as the Bupati Ngantor di Desa (BUNG DESA) program. Despite infrastructural and literacy-related challenges, the government's adaptive responses—such as hybrid service delivery and targeted ICT training—have sustained the momentum of reform. The study concludes that successful digital transformation in public administration requires more than technological deployment; it demands institutional alignment, inclusive strategies, and continuous adaptation. Labuhanbatu’s experience offers valuable insights for replicating scalable, citizen-centric digital governance in other regional contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between organizational culture and administrative management performance in the public service sector of Labuhanbatu Regency. Using a quantitative correlational approach, data were collected through structured questionnaires from 120 civil servants across various local government agencies. The analysis revealed a significant positive relationship between organizational culture and administrative performance (r = 0.643, p < 0.01). Clan and Market culture types emerged as the most influential predictors, while Adhocracy and Hierarchy cultures showed no statistical significance in the regression model. These findings highlight the importance of fostering collaborative and result-oriented work cultures to support sustainable bureaucratic reform.

Abstract

This study examines the strategic role of administrative functions in enhancing the efficiency of Human Resource Management (HRM) in Indonesian tax offices. Using a descriptive qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, document analysis, and direct observation at two regional tax offices. The findings reveal that structured and digitized administrative systems significantly improve the performance of key HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, training, and employee data management. Efficiency scores in administratively supported environments were consistently higher—averaging 27.9% more—than in settings lacking such support. Notably, digital tools reduced processing time, minimized errors, and strengthened transparency and accountability. The study concludes that administration must be reframed from a support function to a strategic enabler within HRM. Strengthening administrative capacity is essential for improving institutional effectiveness, especially in the public sector context.

Abstract

In the digital transformation era, organizations are increasingly adopting Administrative Management Information Systems (AMIS) to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness. This study explores the implementation of AMIS at PT. ABC using a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative performance metrics with qualitative insights from managerial staff. The results indicate that AMIS significantly improves administrative task processing speed, reduces error rates, and lowers operational costs. Furthermore, the system fosters transparency, real-time decision-making, and cross-departmental collaboration. The integration of Artificial Intelligence and data governance protocols further elevates AMIS from a transactional tool to a strategic asset. However, challenges such as user resistance and digital literacy gaps highlight the importance of comprehensive training and change management. Overall, AMIS proves to be a critical enabler of operational excellence and digital transformation within PT. ABC.

Abstract

Through the combination of the Think-Pair-Share and Talking-Stick models, this project aimed to improve learning outcomes and increase mathematical engagement among students in class XI at SMA Kemala Bhayangkari-2 Rantau Prapat. This study represents classroom action research. The research was done in two cycles, with each cycle including preparation, execution, observation, and reflection. This study involved 30 students from class XI at SMA Kemala Bhayangkari-2 Rantau Prapat. The sources of data are teachers and students. Various methods of data collecting include observation, interviews, testing, and document analysis. Using data triangulation and triangulation procedures to determine the veracity of the data. Comparative and critical descriptive analysis approaches were employed in the data analysis. Planning, implementation, observation and interpretation, and analysis and reflection are the research methods. The results demonstrated that by applying the Think Pair Share collaborative approach with the Talking Stick, learning outcomes may be enhanced and student engagement encouraged. This study concludes that the implementation of the Think Pair Share Model Collaboration with the Talking Stick model can improve learning results and stimulate student participation in administration courses.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and increasingly fierce business competition, organizations are required to manage their human resources strategically to achieve competitive advantage. This study aims to analyze the role of recruitment, selection, competency development, and training systems within Human Resource Management (HRM) in enhancing organizational competitiveness. The research method used is a literature review with a descriptive and exploratory approach, analyzing ten relevant scientific articles from both national and international journals. The findings indicate that an effective, objective, and competency-based recruitment and selection system helps organizations acquire suitable candidates aligned with their values and needs. Furthermore, structured and continuous training and competency development significantly improve employee productivity, loyalty, and adaptability. These findings are supported by various national and international studies consistently showing a positive correlation between effective HRM practices and increased organizational competitiveness. An integrated HRM strategy not only enhances individual performance but also creates organizational value that is difficult for competitors to replicate. Therefore, recruitment, selection, training, and competency development systems should not merely be seen as administrative functions, but as strategic investments that play a vital role in achieving long-term competitive advantage. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions for organizations in designing adaptive and result-oriented HRM policies and practices. ABSTRAK Dalam era globalisasi dan persaingan bisnis yang semakin kompetitif, organisasi dituntut untuk mengelola sumber daya manusianya secara strategis guna mencapai keunggulan kompetitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran sistem rekrutmen, seleksi, pengembangan kompetensi, dan pelatihan dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia (MSDM) terhadap pencapaian keunggulan kompetitif organisasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan eksploratif terhadap sepuluh artikel ilmiah dari jurnal nasional dan internasional yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa sistem rekrutmen dan seleksi yang efektif, objektif, dan berbasis kompetensi mampu menjaring kandidat yang tepat sesuai kebutuhan organisasi. Selanjutnya, pelatihan yang berkelanjutan serta pengembangan kompetensi yang terstruktur terbukti meningkatkan produktivitas, loyalitas, dan adaptabilitas karyawan. Temuan ini diperkuat oleh berbagai penelitian, baik nasional maupun internasional, yang secara konsisten menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif antara praktik MSDM yang efektif dan peningkatan daya saing perusahaan. Strategi MSDM yang terintegrasi tidak hanya meningkatkan kinerja individu, tetapi juga menciptakan nilai tambah organisasi yang sulit ditiru pesaing. Oleh karena itu, sistem rekrutmen, seleksi, pelatihan, dan pengembangan kompetensi bukan sekadar fungsi administratif, melainkan merupakan investasi strategis yang berperan penting dalam pencapaian keunggulan kompetitif jangka panjang. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dan praktis bagi organisasi dalam merancang kebijakan dan implementasi MSDM yang adaptif dan berorientasi hasil.

Abstract

Minat belajar merupakan salah satu masalah yang sering ditemukan di dalam proses belajar mengajar terutama minat belajar matematika. Minat belajar matematika menjadi objek yang sangat menarik untuk teliti dan dikembangkan sehingga dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan. Menggunakan model pembelajaran yang tepat dapat meningkatkan minat belajar terutama minat belajar matematika. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran Self-Directed Learning untuk meningkatkan minat belajar matematika yang dilakukan di kelas XI Akuntansi dan XI TKJ SMK Swasta Az-Zahra Sonomartani. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah ada peningkatan minat belajar matematika setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Self-Directed Learning. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di kelas XI Akuntansi dan XI TKJ SMK Swasta Az-Zahra Sonomartani bahwa hasil minat belajar matematika mereka yang diukur dengan instrumen penelitian yaitu lembar angket menunjukkan bahwa tingkat rata-rata minat belajar mereka dikategorikan cukup yaitu sebesar 71%-75% dan setelah diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran Self-Directed Learning tingkat rata-rata minat belajar meningkat menjadi 79%-84%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh kecerdasan intra personal dan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam mencapai prestasi belajar matematika di SMP N 1 Rantau Selatan. Metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional digunakan, dan informasi diperoleh melalui penggunaan kuesioner dan melalui pengamatan langsung terhadap siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif antara kecerdasan intra personal siswa, partisipasi aktif, dan prestasi belajar matematika. Regresi linier berganda mengungkapkan bahwa kecerdasan intra personal dan partisipasi aktif siswa bersama-sama dapat memprediksi prestasi belajar matematika. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi praktis untuk pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang mempertimbangkan aspek kecerdasan intra personal dan meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa. Oleh karena itu, disarankan untuk mengintegrasikan program pembinaan kecerdasan intra personal dan merancang metode pembelajaran yang mendorong partisipasi siswa secara aktif. Langkah-langkah ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di SMP N 1 Rantau Selatan.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning approach in overcoming mathematics learning difficulties in high school students The approach in this study uses a quantitative method through quasi-experimental experiments. The research participants consisted of 65 individuals who were samples from class VII SMP NEGERI 1 RANTAU SELATAN in the 2023–2024 academic year. It consists of four classes: two classes VII A, B, and two classes VII C, then there is There were interviews with participants from classes VII A and VII B, students were divided into two groups: an experimental group that used the PBL approach and a control group that used conventional learning methodsData were collected through math tests given before and after treatment. Data analysis was carried out using a t-test to measure the difference in pretest and post test scores between the two groups.

Abstract

The problem of low problem solving abilities of students in Mathematics subjects are due to the learning process in the classroom only directed at students' ability to memorize information, more lots of listening and writing, memorizing formulas and working on problems with formulas that have been memorized so that students have difficulty solving problems when finding differences from the example questions. This research aims to determine the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model and the problem solving abilities of class XI students at Muhamadiyah 10 Rantauprapat Private High School. This research is a type of quantitative research, with a research population of 120 students from 4 classes. Data collection techniques in this research used two methods, namely observation of teacher activities and tests in the form of descriptions. With research results tcount is greater than ttable. So it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model has a very significant influence on the mathematical problem solving abilities of students in class This is strengthened because the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has advantages and goals that are able to encourage students to learn more effectively because they focus on problem solving and students are able to develop themselves.
