Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh manajemen keluhan tamu terhadap reputasi hotel bintang 3 di Semarang dan dampaknya terhadap kepuasan tamu. Manajemen keluhan tamu menjadi semakin penting di tengah persaingan ketat industri perhotelan, terutama bagi hotel bintang 3. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei cross-sectional. Data dikumpulkan dari 100 tamu hotel bintang 3 di Semarang menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur yang mengukur manajemen keluhan tamu, kepuasan tamu, dan reputasi hotel. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak statistik SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen keluhan tamu memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan tamu dan reputasi hotel. Dimensi responsivitas dan empati dalam manajemen keluhan tamu merupakan faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan tamu. Sementara itu, kualitas komunikasi dan efektivitas penyelesaian keluhan secara signifikan mempengaruhi reputasi hotel. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar manajemen hotel bintang 3 di Semarang meningkatkan pelatihan staf, mengembangkan sistem manajemen keluhan yang mudah diakses, dan memastikan komunikasi yang baik serta transparansi dalam proses penanganan keluhan. Implementasi strategi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kepuasan tamu dan memperkuat reputasi hotel. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan praktis bagi manajemen hotel untuk mengelola keluhan tamu secara efektif demi kesuksesan operasional hotel.

Abstract

Menikah merupakan keputusan terbesar bagi sebagian individu dalam perjalanan hidupnya. Sebelum memutuskan untuk menikah, individu tentunya memiliki kriteria-kriteria tertentu dalam menentungan pasangan hidupnya. Namun wanita yang belum menikah terutama yang bekerja masih merasa sulit untuk menemukan pansangan hidup,sehingga cenederung menunda pernikahan oleh karena itu preferensi pemilihan pasangan hidup menjadi pertimbangan yang penting bagi wanita lajang  yang bekerja dalam menentukan kriteria pasangan sebelm menikah.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap gambaran pada wanita bekerja dalam memilih pasangan hidup. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah wanita bekerja sebanyak 150 orang dengan kriteria belum pernah menikah, pendidikan terakhir minimal SMA, dengan rentang usia 25-40 tahun. Preferensi pemilihan pasangan hidup dalam penelitian ini diukur dengan Mate Selection Question yang diadaptasi dari Townsend (1989). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik deskriptif statistik yang mengungkap nilai dari mean, distribusi, subjek dan kategori dari data kuesioner yang dapat diolah sebagai penunjang dalam pembahasan mengenai variabel preferensi pemilihan pasangan hidup. Dari hasil analisis data dapat diketahui bahwa preferensi pemilihan pasangan hidup pada wanita bekerja berada pada kategori sedang. Artinya, responden dalam penelitian ini cukup memiliki pertimbangan dalam pemilihan pasangan hidup.

Abstract

Volleyball is a game sport played by two opposing groups. Each group has six players. The principle of playing volleyball is to play the ball with divolley (hit with the limbs) and try to drop the ball into the opponent's field by crossing the ball over the net and keeping the ball from falling on its own field. Even though volleyball is a team game, mastering basic techniques individually is absolutely necessary. This means that in coaching in the early stages it is necessary to emphasize mastering the basic techniques of the game, one of which is the basic passing technique. To achieve high performance, it is necessary to have a good and regular physical training program to improve the bottom passing skills. Forms of physical exercise that can be applied include lifting barbells and push-ups, which aim to increase the strength of the arm and abdominal muscles of a player/student, thereby influencing the results of the match. The main problem in this research is; Is there an increase in lower passing skills in volleyball games through barbell lifting and push-up exercises for male students of class VI SD Negeri 01 Sukadana 2022/2023? Abstract

Research has been carried out on making biodiesel from palm oil using natural zeolite catalysts impregnated with metal oxides such as zinc oxide and titanium oxide. This research aims to produce biodiesel using natural zeolite and ZnO-TiO2/NZ catalysts. The catalysts were analyzed using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), and Brunauer-Emmet-Teller (BET). The catalyst was tested in the transesterification reaction to produce biodiesel. The mole oil and methanol ratio varied from 1:15, 1:18, and 1:20. In addition, the biodiesel product was analyzed using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS). The results showed the optimum condition for converting triglycerides to 1:18 variation of oil:methanol was 60.53%using a ZnO-TiO2/NZ catalyst. The ZnO-TiO2/NZ catalyst is very promising for use as a catalyst for converting palm oils into biodiesel.

Abstract

This study assesses the efficiency and effectiveness of the room attendants working in the housekeeping department at Hotel Puri Garden Semarang. The cleaning department plays a crucial role in upholding the cleanliness standards of the hotel and has a substantial impact on client satisfaction and the hotel's reputation. The study examines the elements that influence the performance of room attendants, with a particular focus on the impact of technological improvements, environmentally friendly practices, and staff well-being. Data were gathered using a qualitative descriptive approach, employing interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and direct observation. The results emphasise the significance of directly observing, obtaining feedback from guests, conducting frequent performance evaluations, and utilising staff surveys to evaluate and enhance the performance of room attendants. Analysis of performance data uncovers trends that suggest operational inefficiencies and shortcomings in training. The study emphasises the importance of thorough performance assessments in order to identify areas for development and conduct focused training interventions. Suggested areas for further research encompass investigating the enduring effects of adopted improvement methods, examining the correlation between staff happiness and performance outcomes, and analysing the role of technology in optimising housekeeping operations. The study asserts that adopting a multidimensional strategy is crucial in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of room attendants, which in turn results in increased visitor satisfaction and improved hotel performance.

Abstract

The Study and Appreciation of Indonesian Exemplary Student Leadership (SAKTI) activity is one of the flagship activities of SMP Labschool Cibubur to prepare students to become leaders. SAKTI activities are activities that are carried out to form positive characters in students. This study aims to determine the impact of this activity on the students of Cibubur Labschool Junior High School. The research, which was carried out at SMP Labschool Cibubur in the first semester of the 2022/2023 school year, used a survey method to collect data on the population of grade VIII students totaling 225 students. Relying on the CIPP evaluation model as the theoretical basis, the researcher uses descriptive analysis of the data. The program evaluation research that has been carried out shows that the implementation of SAKTI has proven to be effective. This can be reviewed from several aspects, namely: in the context of SAKTI activities are carried out based on the goal of achieving the school's vision and the implementation of the P5 Independent Curriculum as a demand for achieving the character of students. In terms of input or input, data was obtained that 90% of students stated that they were ready to participate in activities and receive SAKTI 2022 materials. In terms of the process of this activity, the achievement of the activity process is in the appropriate and very appropriate category, so that it shows the optimal achievement of all the indicators set. From this study, it was also found that SAKTI activities have a positive impact on students' independence and discipline, basic skills, sense of patriotism and nationalism, faith and piety to God Almighty, willingness to share, leadership attitude, and social sensitivity.

Abstract

Community service activities for MPPO-UMKM Kendal aim to provide motivation and knowledge so that members of the community become stronger in the future by helping to identify self-quality, seize opportunities, manage, improve business skills, and similar aspects that allow for the reduction or resolution of common problems faced by MPPO-UMKM Kendal. And increasing awareness of MPPO-UMKM Kendal members about the development of their business so that it has a more important meaning as the main actor in the business world. The activity method is in the form of counseling using a lecture model and interactive discussion with MPPO-UMKM Kendal members. The results of the activity are in the form of increasing participant understanding of the importance of motivation to upgrade themselves through knowledge about digitalization and the need for proper communication in marketing their products. This will be followed up with the next activity because this community service is the first part of a series of community service activities for the MPPO-UMKM Kendal community.

Abstract

Sleep is essential for a person's life. Quality sleep will affect a person's condition in living their days. Many things can disrupt a person's sleep quality, including excessive smartphone use, bedtime procrastination, and low self-regulation. This study aimed to empirically examine the influence of sleep delay, smartphone addiction tendencies, and self-regulation on sleep quality in early adult smartphone users. The sampling technique in this research is non-probability sampling. The sample in this study was 149 early adult smartphone users with an age range of 18-40 years. Data collection in this study used a sleep delay scale, smartphone addiction scale, self-regulation scale, and sleep quality scale. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis, it is known that the significance level is 0.000 (p<0.01), with an RSquare value of 0.461 (46.1%). This shows that the influence of self-regulation, smartphone addiction tendencies, and bedtime procrastination on the sleep quality of early adult smartphone users is very significant. Apart from that, it appears that self-regulation, smartphone addiction tendencies, and bedtime procrastination affect the sleep quality of early adult smartphone users by 46.1% while other factors outside this research influence the remaining 53.9%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the wage system, cost efficiency, and work motivation on employee productivity at PT Glory Industrial Semarang. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey technique. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 employees, with validity and reliability tests carried out to ensure data quality. Data analysis used multiple linear regression. The results showed that the wage system, cost efficiency, and work motivation each had a significant positive effect on employee productivity. Simultaneously, the three variables explained 94% of the variation in work productivity, with the wage system making the largest contribution. This shows that fair and proportional wages to the workload not only increase employee satisfaction and loyalty but also motivate them to work more optimally. Cost efficiency allows companies to provide incentives and facilities that support improved performance, while work motivation, both intrinsic, such as responsibility and desire to achieve, and extrinsic, such as awards and recognition, also strengthens employee commitment to company targets. This study has several limitations, including the fact that it was only conducted in one company, so the results cannot be generalized to other industries. In addition, this study used a cross-sectional approach, so it cannot capture long-term changes in the relationship of variables. Therefore, further research is recommended to expand the scope of the sample, consider additional variables such as organizational culture and leadership, and use a longitudinal approach to understand the dynamics of employee productivity changes over time.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of service quality and asset management on customer satisfaction at a cafe in Klepu Village, Bergas District, Semarang Regency. Along with the rapid growth of the cafe business, improving service quality and asset management are important factors in increasing customer satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey involving 100 cafe customers selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results of the study indicate that service quality and asset management simultaneously have a significant effect on customer satisfaction (p < 0.05). Service quality has a greater influence, with a contribution of 60%, while asset management contributes 40%. This finding emphasizes the importance of improving service quality and asset maintenance to improve customer satisfaction and the competitiveness of cafes in the region. This study provides insight for cafe managers in facing competition in the small business sector.
