Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of social assistance funds on the quality of poor people's houses through a house renovation program in Watallipue Village, Tempe District, Wajo Regency. The population in this study were all recipients of the house renovation program assistance in Watallipue Village. Sample A total of 50 people. Sampling used a sampling technique using a purposive sampling technique. This research is about the role of social assistance funds on the quality of poor people's houses through a house renovation program in Watallipue Village, Tempe District, Wajo Regency, using qualitative methods where data collection is carried out by interviews so as to dig deeper into social assistance funds and house quality. The results obtained in this research were that there was an improvement in the quality of people's houses from before the house renovation program was carried out. These places could be said to be uninhabitable due to leaking roofs and walls that leaked when it rained. However, after carrying out a house renovation program, the place became a place that was considered habitable.

Abstract

Prinsip pemberian pelayanan yang maksimal semestinya menjadi landasan utama bagi seluruh lembaga atau instansi yang berorientasi pada pelayanan publik. Hal ini juga berlaku bagi PT. Telkom, khususnya dalam layanan IndiHome. Namun, berbagai fenomena yang terjadi menunjukkan bahwa kualitas layanan yang diberikan oleh perusahaan ini masih menjadi sorotan, terutama dari pelanggan pengguna layanan IndiHome. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi dan kompensasi terhadap kualitas pelayanan pada PT. Telkom STO Parepare. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 99 orang, dan analisis data dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan, yang mengindikasikan bahwa keterampilan teknis pegawai belum sepenuhnya meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan. Sebaliknya, kompensasi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan, yang menunjukkan bahwa sistem penghargaan yang baik dapat meningkatkan motivasi kerja pegawai, sehingga berdampak positif pada pelayanan. Secara simultan, kompetensi dan kompensasi secara bersama-sama memberikan pengaruh terhadap kualitas pelayanan, meskipun pengaruh kompensasi lebih dominan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya keseimbangan antara pengembangan keterampilan pegawai dan pemberian kompensasi yang adil untuk menciptakan pelayanan yang lebih efektif dan memuaskan.

Abstract

Introduction and Methods Toddlers’ visits to Posyandu (Integrated Health Service Posts) refer to the attendance of children under five years of age to obtain health services such as weight measurement, immunization, and growth and development monitoring. Optimal Posyandu attendance is defined as regular visits conducted once a month during the first five years of life. This study aimed to identify factors associated with the level of toddlers’ visits to Posyandu. This study employed an analytic observational design with a cross-sectional approach and was conducted from February to March 2022 in the working area of Punggaluku Community Health Center, Laeya District, South Konawe Regency. A total of 94 mothers of toddlers were included as respondents, selected using random sampling techniques. Data analysis was performed using the Chi-square statistical test. Results The results showed that most mothers had poor attitudes toward Posyandu attendance (40.4%), insufficient family support (37.2%), and good parenting patterns (7.4%). There was a significant association between maternal attitude and Posyandu visits among toddlers aged 12–59 months (p-value = 0.007), as well as between family support and Posyandu visits (p-value = 0.014). However, no significant association was found between parenting patterns and Posyandu visits among toddlers aged 12–59 months (p-value = 0.759). Conclusion and Recommendations Maternal attitude and family support were significantly associated with Posyandu visits among toddlers aged 12–59 months. Therefore, mothers of toddlers are encouraged to improve their activeness and develop positive attitudes toward Posyandu, as well as to seek and strengthen family support, so that routine and sustainable Posyandu attendance can be achieved. Contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) This study contributes to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3, which aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. Specifically, it supports Target 3.2, which seeks to end preventable deaths of newborns and children under five years of age through the strengthening of basic health services. By identifying factors associated with toddlers’ visits to Posyandu, such as maternal attitude and family support, this study provides evidence to reinforce the role of Posyandu as a community-based health service in monitoring child growth and development. Increased Posyandu attendance is expected to support early detection of nutritional and health problems, thereby contributing to the reduction of morbidity and mortality among toddlers and to sustainable improvements in child health outcomes.

Abstract

Psychological well-being and financial wellness are two things that are interconnected in everyday life. Age and experience influence the relationship between psychological well-being and financial wellness. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between psychological well-being and the financial wellness of facilitators climbing Mount Andong via Pendem. This research use a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. There were ten subjects in this study who were determined through convenience sampling. The data collection technique is non-test using a psychological well-being scale instrument consisting of 20 items and financial wellness scale instrument consisting 10 items. Data analysis technique use the product moment formula to test the relationship between psychological well-being and financial wellness. The results of the research can be concluded that there is a positive relationship resulting from the relationship between psychological well-being and financial well-being, which means that the higher the psychological well-being, the higher the financial wellness and conversely, the lower the psychological well-being, the lower the financial wellness. Therefore, counselors need to pay attention to the psychological well-being aspect and financial wellness through a series of guidance and counseling service activities as preventive and curative functions.

Abstract

Vocabulary forms the essential basis for students’ language proficiency, supporting their growth in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. A well-developed vocabulary not only improves comprehension but also enables effective communication in both oral and written contexts. This research aims to evaluate the impact of Index Card Match method on the vocabulary development of eighth-grade students of Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri 9 Palu, highlighting the importance of vocabulary in English learning and the need for interactive and effective teaching methods to develop students’ vocabulary skills. A quasi-experimental design was employed, involving an experimental group taught using Index Card Match and a control group receiving conventional method. A sample of 64 students was selected through cluster random sampling from total population of 352 eighth-grade students, ensuring representativeness. This research utilized a set of 10 multiple choice questions and 10 matching items as instruments, which has been validated through evaluation and testing to ensure reliability. The findings indicated that the mean pre-test score for the experimental group was 47.81, compared to 49.22 for the control group. In contrast, the post-test mean score for the experimental group rose to 69.69, while the control group scored 42.03. The Mann-Whitney U test was employed due to the non-normal distribution of the data, revealing a significant difference between the two groups (p<0.05). In short, this indicates that the Index Card Match method positively impacts vocabulary development, accentuating its academic and pedagogical significance in improving students’ language skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan data observasi yang telah dilakukan di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal II Tumampua Kab. Pangkep yang menunjukkan bahwa aspek perkembangan motorik halus pada sebagian besar Anak di kelas B1 belum berkembang dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, maka peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) guna menemukan solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu : (1) Mengetahui bagaimana cara meningkatkan aspek fisik motorik halus pada anak dikelas tersebut, (2) Mengetahui apakah dengan menggunakan tekhnik menggunting dan menempel dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus pada anak.Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas B1 TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal II Tumampua Kab. Pangkep dengan jumlah anak didik sebanyak 16 siswa yang terdiri dari 8 siswa laki-laki dan 8 siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini khusus mengukur ranah aspek perkembangan fisik motorik anak dalam hal ini motorik halusnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan kemajuan yang berbeda disetiap siklusnya. Ternyata, dengan menggunakan tekhnik menggunting dan menempel dapat meningkatkan motorik halus pada anak dan membuat anak lebih tertarik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran yang diberikan. Untuk itu, maka direkomendasikan kepada para guru dan orang tua yang ingin meningkatkan motorik halus pada anak untuk menggunakan tehnik ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini penting untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA, khususnya di kelas IV SDN 212 Pinrang, dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Talking Stick yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan partisipasi dan pemahaman siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi bagi tantangan dalam pembelajaran IPA, serta menjadi referensi bagi pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang lebih efektif di sekolah-sekolah lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas IV SDN 212 Pinrang melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Talking Stick. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, dengan setiap siklus melibatkan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 212 Pinrang dengan Jumlah siswa 32. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkanpPada siklus I, dari 32 siswa, hanya 10 siswa (31,25%) yang mencapai ketuntasan dengan nilai minimal 75, sedangkan 22 siswa (68,75%) belum tuntas. Nilai tertinggi yang diperoleh siswa adalah 85, sementara nilai terendah adalah 55, dengan ketuntasan klasikal hanya mencapai 31,25%. Pada siklus II, setelah dilakukan perbaikan, termasuk pemberian bimbingan lebih intensif dan peningkatan interaksi siswa, hasil belajar siswa meningkat signifikan. Dari 32 siswa, 28 siswa (87,5%) berhasil mencapai ketuntasan, sementara 4 siswa (12,5%) belum tuntas. Nilai tertinggi yang diperoleh siswa meningkat menjadi 90, dan nilai terendah menjadi 65. Ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus II mencapai 87,5%, yang menunjukkan bahwa perbaikan yang dilakukan berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi IPA dan memperbaiki keterlibatan mereka dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Seaweed is one of the commodities that are widely cultivated in coastal areas in Indonesia, as an export-oriented commodity. This study aims to determine the competitive advantage, comparative advantage, and competitiveness of seaweed farming (Eucheuma Spinosum). This research was conducted in Liya Bahari Village, Wangi-Wangi Selatan District, Wakatobi Regency. The method of determining the sample is purposive sampling. This research was conducted from July to August 2021. The data sources are primary and secondary data. Analysis of the data used is PAM (Policy Analysis Matrix). The results of this study indicate that seaweed farming in Liya Bahari Village, Wangi-Wangi Selatan District, Wakatobi Regency has a competitive advantage and comparative advantage, and has strong competitiveness. The seaweed farming has a Domestic Resource Cost Ratio (DRC) of 0.03. The value of DRC < 1 indicates that seaweed farming has a comparative advantage so that it has domestic resource efficiency at international prices. The seaweed farming has a Private Cost Ratio (PCR) value of 0.40. The value of PCR < 1 indicates that seaweed farming has a competitive advantage and has domestic resource efficiency at the actual price.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media Chromebook terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SDN 17 Pekanbaru. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah asosiatif kuantitatif dengan sampel seluruh siswa kelas V sebanyak 66 siswa. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket motivasi belajar dan angket penggunaan Chromebook, yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas, linearitas, dan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Chromebook memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa (R = 0,441; R² = 0,195; Sig. < 0,001), namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa (R = 0,039; R² = 0,001; Sig. = 0,758). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Chromebook efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar, tetapi peningkatan motivasi tidak selalu diterjemahkan menjadi peningkatan hasil belajar akademik. Penelitian ini menyarankan guru untuk mengintegrasikan Chromebook dengan strategi pembelajaran yang tepat dan dukungan latihan konsisten agar hasil belajar dapat meningkat secara signifikan. Kata Kunci: Chromebook,motivasi belajar,hasil belajar.
