Abstract

Abstract: Industrial Work Practice (PRAKERIN) is a crucial component of vocational education in Indonesia, but students often struggle to find suitable placements that match their interests and skills. This study applies the Profile Matching method to help students at SMKN 1 Kota Bengkulu find appropriate PRAKERIN placements. The Profile Matching method links student profiles with company profiles. By using surveys and structured interviews with students and partnering companies, the research aims to design a system that facilitates PRAKERIN placement recommendations.The application of this method proves effective in placing Software Engineering students in suitable PRAKERIN locations. Over 65% of students successfully found PRAKERIN placements that aligned with their profiles. This system helps minimize errors in placement decisions, meeting company needs and enhancing students' PRAKERIN experiences profiles. This system can minimize errors in decision-making regarding the recommendation of Field Work Practice placements in the Software Engineering program at SMKN 1 Kota Bengkulu. Abstract: Penempatan Praktik Kerja Industri (PRAKERIN) adalah bagian penting dalam pendidikan vokasi di Indonesia, namun siswa sering kesulitan menemukan tempat yang sesuai dengan minat dan kemampuan mereka. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode Profile Matching untuk membantu siswa SMKN 1 Kota Bengkulu menemukan tempat PRAKERIN yang tepat. Metode ini menghubungkan profil siswa dengan profil perusahaan. Dengan pendekatan survei dan wawancara terstruktur kepada siswa serta perusahaan, penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem yang memudahkan rekomendasi penempatan PRAKERIN. Hasil penerapan metode ini menunjukkan efektivitasnya dalam menempatkan siswa jurusan Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak pada tempat PRAKERIN yang sesuai. Lebih dari 65% siswa berhasil menemukan tempat PRAKERIN yang cocok dengan profil mereka. Sistem ini membantu meminimalisir kesalahan dalam pengambilan keputusan penempatan, sehingga memenuhi kebutuhan perusahaan dan meningkatkan pengalaman PRAKERIN siswa.

Abstract

The design of the new student admission system (PPDB) at SMK Negeri 3 Empat Lawang aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the selection and registration process for prospective students. This system is designed to overcome frequently encountered obstacles, such as the lengthy data verification process, difficulties in data management, and the lack of transparency in the selection process. The PPDB system prototype was developed with a web-based approach to ensure accuracy, speed, and ease of access for prospective students, parents, and the school. The main features of this system include online registration, automatic data verification, real-time announcement of selection results, and an admin dashboard to monitor the entire process. With the implementation of this system, it is expected to reduce administrative workload, increase transparency, and provide a better experience for all parties involved in the PPDB process at SMK Negeri 3 Empat Lawang

Abstract

Website adalah salah satu jenis media informasi yang sangat efektif untuk menyebarkan berbagai jenis informasi, termasuk profil dan aktivitas suatu lembaga pendidikan kepada masyarakat umum. Website memungkinkan informasi disajikan secara cepat dan mudah diakses di mana saja dan kapan saja, dan memungkinkan untuk menjangkau khalayak yang lebih luas.  Namun, PAUD Al-Muchlis di Kelurahan Tanjung Jaya saat ini belum menggunakan website sebagai media informasi. Lembaga mengalami beberapa kesulitan dalam menyampaikan informasi penting kepada masyarakat, terutama kepada orang tua atau wali calon siswa, karena tidak adanya website ini.  Informasi tentang profil sekolah, dokumentasi kegiatan, berita terkini, fasilitas yang tersedia, serta jumlah guru dan siswa, belum disampaikan dengan baik.  Hal ini pasti berdampak pada informasi yang diberikan pada masyarakat dan calon siswa PAUD Al-Muchlis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menambah media informasi sekolah berupa website profil PAUD Al-Muchlis menggunakan framework CodeIgniter sebagai media informasi yang mudah diakses dan dikelola. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah waterfall yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah website yang memiliki fitur halaman home, profil sekolah, galeri foto kegiatan, berita, fasilitas, jumlah guru dan siswa, serta halaman admin untuk pengelolaan konten. Sebagai hasil dari pengujian dengan metode black box, semua fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai dengan perancangan. Diharapkan situs web ini akan membantu sekolah menyebarkan berbagai informasi penting kepada masyarakat umum, terutama kepada orang tua calon siswa.  Dengan keberadaan website sekolah, media digital sekolah dapat diakses kapan saja dan di mana saja.  Halaman-halaman yang tersedia di dalam website memungkinkan pengguna untuk menyampaikan informasi dengan jelas tentang profil lembaga pendidikan, dokumentasi kegiatan, berita terkini, fasilitas yang tersedia, serta jumlah guru dan siswa.

Abstract

The rapid use of information technology today has made the government more aware of the benefits of using information technology, especially in the internet sector. The high use of the internet is inseparable from the emergence of various website applications developed by the community, entrepreneurs, including government agencies. The Central Government strongly supports the creation of various kinds of community service websites as an effort to keep the wheels of government running. The development of this community service website is an effort to prevent crowds at public service facilities which currently need to be avoided to prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 outbreak, which recently has not shown a significant decline. In terms of community services in rural areas, the central government also understands and encourages village governments to have village websites that can be used to empower villages and village communities, this is evidenced by the launch of the desa.id domain extension as an official domain extension and is devoted to websites. Village website development is also a government priority program contained in Permendesa Number 11 of 2019 concerning Priority for the Use of Village Funds in 2020 in Appendix I CHAPTER I Letter E concerning Priority List in the Village Development Sector, Point d concerning Procurement, Development, utilization and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure information and communication and item 2 mentions the creation of a village website. This shows that the central government is really serious so that villages can develop website-based services and information. Karang Dapo Village is one of the villages located in Sikap Dalamg District, Empat Lawang Regency, Sumatera Selatan Province. The constraints experienced by the Karang Dapo village government today are the limited access to information that can be seen and accessed by the village community in particular and the surrounding community in general, especially access to information on village activities, village administration, superior village products and village locations. Based on these problems, it encourages the author to create a website and administrative application for the Weskut village. With the existence of a village website and an online village administration application it is hoped that in providing services to the community it can be maximized, and access to information about the village of Karang Dapo can be accessed and seen by anyone and from anywhere while an internet network is still available.
