Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesiapsiagaan siswa SD Al Muhajirin menghadapi bencana melalui kegiatan edukasi dan simulasi menggunakan media pop up 3 dimensi pada anak. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pemberian angket/kuesioner, observasi, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa setelah penggunaan media pop up 3 dimensi sebagai media mitigasi bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami, secara umum sebagian besar siswa sudah memahami simulasi dan demonstrasi mitigasi bencana yang dilaksanakan, dibuktikan dengan hasil wawancara yang menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman siswa, sebanyak 75% memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami serta penyebabnya. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan 17 siswa teramati aktif berpartisipasi dalam simulasi kesiapsiagaan bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami, 5 siswa berpartisipasi sedang, serta 2 siswa pasif. Dengan digunakannya media pop up 3 dimensi, siswa lebih memahami mitigasi bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya dalam menumbuhkan self-determination perilaku prososial siswa di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Ploso, Pacitan. Upaya yang dilakukan ditinjau dari adanya faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode pendekatan deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari informan guru dan siswa kelas 1 sampai kelas 6. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis model Miles dan Huberman. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian memberikan gambaran tentang upaya guru yang dilakukan meliputi pembagian kelompok belajar siswa, membangun kerja sama dan relasi sosial, keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam kelompok, membangun atribusi dukungan peran guru, menjalin kebutuhan mutual, memberikan afirmasi positif, membuat kesepakatan kelas bersama. Faktor penghambat dan faktor pendukung dalam menumbuhkan self-determination perilaku prososial siswa meliputi, karakteristik siswa yang heterogen, model pembelajaran berkelompok yang digunakan dalam prosesĀ  pembelajaran, kesiapan guru dan siswa serta hubungan siswa, guru dan orang tua.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to improve the quality of elementary school social studies learning through the application of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) assisted by Augmented Reality (AR). The research design was adopted from the Kemmis and Taggart spiral design including the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects involved included fifth-grade students of SDN Sendangmulyo 01 Semarang City who were tested and observed. The data collected were then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed a significant increase in teacher skills, student activities, and learning outcomes. Teacher skills showed a significant increase, with an average score of Cycle 1 of 69.64% (good category), Cycle 2 of 73.21% (good), and Cycle 3 of 87.5% (very good). Student activity also increased, with an average score of Cycle 1 of 67.93% (good), Cycle 2 of 73.70% (good), and Cycle 3 of 81.89% (very good). The classical completeness of student learning outcomes showed a stable increase, from 64.85% in Cycle 1 to 75% in Cycle 2, and 85.71% in Cycle 3. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the AR-assisted PBL model is effective in improving the quality of social studies learning, as evidenced by increased teacher skills, student activities, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to develop and evaluate the ERTIMO application, a learning recommendation tool designed to enhance the quality of early Indonesian literacy instruction conducted by teachers. Utilizing the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) instructional design model, ERTIMO's content was systematically curated through an extensive literature review. The application's feasibility and effectiveness were assessed through expert validations and field trials, employing observations, assessment scales, running records, and writing assignments. Statistical analysis via T-tests confirmed that ERTIMO significantly improved learning quality, particularly in teacher engagement, student participation, and the utilization of learning media, while aspects such as instructional material and learning environment remained largely unchanged. The novelty of ERTIMO lies in its integration of a recommender system to assist teachers in organizing instruction, addressing the prevalent issue of inadequate strategy adoption in early reading and writing literacy for early elementary school class.

Abstract

The independent curriculum is a curriculum that was implemented in Indonesia in 2021 until now. Various approaches are implemented in the curriculum, one of which is STEAM. The purpose of writing this article is to identify and analyze the STEAM approach in elementary school learning that is aligned with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum, and provide recommendations for developing contextual and integrative learning that supports the achievement of the Pancasila learner profile and 4C skills, student activities, and learning outcomes. The research method used is a literature study by reviewing journals as literature recorded in Sinta, Garuda, and indexed nationally and internationally. The results showed that there are many learning models that integrate with the STEAM approach in the independent curriculum which effectively provide results in increasing the achievement of the Pancasila learner profile, 4C skills, student activity, and learning outcomes. This STEAM approach encourages students to be active in various learning activities designed by teachers in the independent curriculum and gain direct experience both theoretically and practically.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the implementation of the school literacy movement at SDN 1 Jatigunung for the 2019/2020 academic year, (2) determine students' reading skills through the implementation of the school literacy movement at SDN 1 Jatigunung for the 2019/2020 academic year, ( 3) find out the obstacles and solutions in the implementation of the school literacy movement. This research applied qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this study were 1 school principal, 1 teacher, 33 students, and 2 parents of SDN 1 Jatigunung students. Student and parent subjects were selected by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques include documentation and observation of GLS implementation, and interviews. The results obtained in this study are: 1) The implementation of the school literacy movement at SDN 1 Jatigunung was good. The teacher has implemented 3 stages, namely: habituation, development, and learning; 2) students' reading skills, especially in grade III 70%, were fluent in reading. Through the school literacy movement, teachers have invited their students to always get used to reading. And for students who still have difficulty in reading, the teacher makes slow reading service program; 3) An obstacle in the implementation of the school literacy movement is the lack of supply of book collections in the library so that schools are trying to use BOS to help increase the collection of library books.

Abstract

Keterampilan menulis siswa tunalaras di SD Negeri Banjarjo kelas IV rendah.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan menulis siswa tunalaras di SD NegeriBanjarjo menggunakan media ular tangga pada proses pembelajaran. Penelitian inimerupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalampenelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Banjarjo Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020 yangberjumlah 1 orang berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Pengambilan subjek menggunakan teknikpurposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara, tes, dandokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikankesimpulan. Hasil analisis data menyimpulkan bahwa:1) pembelajaran yang dilakukan guruterhadap siswa tunalaras harus menggunakan perlakuan khusus 2) penggunaan media ulartangga pada proses pembelajaran memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap siswatunalaras meskipun hanya sedikit 3) setelah penggunaan media ular tangga siswa mau menulistetapi hanya beberapa dan lebih antusias untuk menyuarakan pendapatnya.

Abstract

This research aims to describe: (1) procedures for developing pocket book media; (2) feasibility of developing pocket book media; (3) the results of developing pocket book media to increase students' cultural appreciation. This type of research is research and development (R&D) with a 4D development model. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis uses product validity level techniques and trial data analysis. The research results show that: (1) pocket book media to increase students' cultural appreciation has been developed using a 4D development model with expert testing and validation; (2) Pocket book media is appropriate based on the assessment of material experts with an average score of 4 "Valid", the assessment of media experts with an average score of 4.11 "Vaild", the assessment of language experts with an average score of 3 "Quite Valid" ', and student assessments in small group tests with an average of 4 "Valid" (3) media are declared effective based on students' achievement of cultural appreciation which reaches a score of 100%.
