Abstract

Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) adalah inisiatif bantuan sosial yang diperkenalkan oleh pemerintah Indonesia untuk membantu siswa dari keluarga yang tidak mampu agar dapat melanjutkan pendidikan mereka tanpa kesulitan keuangan. Untuk memperoleh PIP, calon penerima bantuan harus termasuk dalam kategori layak sebagai penerima bantuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kelayakan penerima bantuan PIP di SDN 064999 Medan menggunakan algoritma C4.5 yang mana digunakan dalam membentuk pohon keputusan. Dalam penelitian ini, data yang digunakan adalah data siswa SDN 064999 Medan yang telah menerima bantuan PIP pada tahun 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma C4.5 membentuk pohon keputusan yang baik untuk memprediksi kelayakan penerima bantuan PIP. Pohon keputusan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa atribut yang paling penting untuk memprediksi kelayakan penerima bantuan PIP adalah atribut pendapatan orangtua, status pekerjaan orangtua, dan jumlah tanggungan orangtua. Dari penelitian ini juga diperoleh 10 rules / aturan dalam penentuan kelayakan penerima bantuan PIP dengan algoritma C4.5. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk membantu dalam proses seleksi penerima bantuan PIP dan untuk memastikan bahwa bantuan tersebut tepat sasaran.

Abstract

Porang tubers are one of the foodstuffs rich in glucomannan content. Glucomannan is widely used in various industrial fields, one of which is pharmaceuticals. To produce pure glucomannan compounds, the method of isolating glucomannan using a two-phase water system (ATPS) solvent has been widely used. One option is isolation with a two-phase water system (ATPS) of inorganic salts ammonium sulfate and ethanol at various concentrations. This study focuses on optimizing the concentration ratio of ammonium sulfate and ethanol for the glucomannan extraction process, carried out with a factorial design and continued analysis with a response surface methodology (RSM) approach. The results of the experimental design at the composition of ammonium sulfate concentration of 17.07% w/w and ethanol of 27.07% w/w showed optimal dry extract acquisition in the two-phase water system (ATPS), with a yield of 81.07%. Characterization of the results of porang flour extract with FTIR produced stretching vibrations of the O-H group at 3427.51 cm-1 and C-O-C (glycosidic bond) at 1020.34 cm-1 and bending vibrations of the -CH functional group at 864.11 cm-1, which are specific values ​​for glucomannan compounds and using visible spectrophotometry, the glucomannan concentration was obtained at 32.67%.

Abstract

Training and competency certification are part of efforts to enhance the quality of human resources, particularly vocational lecturers, in mastering best practices in Preventive and Predictive Maintenance. This program was conducted over a period of twelve (12) days and covered both theoretical and practical aspects of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, including Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, Vibration Analysis, Thermography, and Total Productive Maintenance. The training was organized through a collaboration between the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP), and the Indonesian Society of Reliability (ISR). The main objective of this program was to improve lecturers' competencies in Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), failure analysis using methods such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and Supply Chain Management (SCM). As a result of the training and certification program, all eleven (11) participants were declared certified and received certification from ISR. This achievement serves as capital to support excellent and globally competitive vocational education.

Abstract

Lebakaso Hamlet, Cikahuripan Village, Cimanggung District, Sumedang Regency, is a hamlet that requires attention in increasing livestock management capacity. The community already has a village organization, the Pasir Sela Forest Farmers Group (KTH), to improve livestock management. A green fodder chopper machine and machine maintenance operation training are needed. The purpose of the Community Service program contract activity is to improve the quality of partners and provide training, implementation methods for problem identification activities, preparing machine designs, machine procurement and manufacture, providing machine operation and maintenance training, and machine handover and activity reporting. The results of the activity have been realized according to plan based on the implementation method of the availability of a chopper machine that has an electric motor drive, is capable of chopping stems and grass, has a filter feature, and speed variations with a choice of pulley sizes and machine construction that can be easily mobilized. The implementation of operation and maintenance training and handover of the chopper machine tool was successfully carried out with PkM KTH Pasir Sela partners. Furthermore, to ensure the allocation of the machine and its utilization, monitoring and evaluation are carried out.

Abstract

Story telling is one method of speaking in the form of telling activities or telling about an event, and is delivered orally which aims to share stories with others and become a method that can be used in fabel’s learning. Retelling the fable text from read or heard is one of the basic competencies that students are expected to be able to do optimally. The purpose of this research is to reconstruct the story telling method with the help of visual aids in class VII SMP Al-Hidayah Medan. This research was conducted by analyzing (1) the conditions of the application of the story telling method (2) the impact of creative teaching aids. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in research were conducted by interviews and literature study. The results showed that the application of the method in learning to retell fable texts in grade VII of Al-Hidayah Junior High School still did not get optimal results and responses both in terms of student response, speaking skills, and the absence of media support, so there is a need for reconstruction to achieve better learning outcomes and student responses.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the concept of a redesigned gamified daily journal as an innovation in language learning and character formation that aligns with the characteristics of Generation Alpha. The background of this research stems from the growing dependence of children on digital technology and online games, which has reduced reflective habits and weakened character values in primary education. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a conceptual study design, involving analytical synthesis of theories and previous studies on gamification, reflective journals, character education, and 21st-century learning. The findings reveal that integrating game elements such as points, levels, challenges, badges, and feedback into daily journals can enhance students’ intrinsic motivation, reflective awareness, and collaboration between teachers, students, and parents. The redesigned journal transforms routine reflection into a more engaging, contextual, and meaningful experience, bridging character habituation and language learning with children’s digital culture. The study concludes that the gamified daily journal has strong potential as an innovative educational medium to strengthen character education while improving students’ motivation and literacy skills in the digital era. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep redesain jurnal harian berbasis gamifikasi sebagai inovasi pembelajaran bahasa sekaligus sarana pembentukan karakter yang relevan dengan karakteristik Generasi Alpha. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena meningkatnya ketergantungan anak terhadap dunia digital dan permainan daring yang berdampak pada menurunnya kebiasaan reflektif dan nilai-nilai karakter di sekolah dasar. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan rancangan studi konseptual, melalui analisis sintesis terhadap teori dan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang berkaitan dengan gamifikasi, jurnal refleksi, pendidikan karakter, dan pembelajaran abad ke-21. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan elemen permainan seperti poin, level, tantangan, lencana, dan umpan balik dalam jurnal harian dapat meningkatkan motivasi intrinsik, kesadaran reflektif, serta kolaborasi antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua. Redesain jurnal ini menjadikan aktivitas refleksi lebih menyenangkan, kontekstual, dan bermakna, sehingga pembiasaan karakter dan pembelajaran bahasa dapat berjalan sejalan dengan dunia digital anak. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa jurnal harian berbasis gamifikasi berpotensi menjadi media inovatif dalam memperkuat pendidikan karakter sekaligus meningkatkan motivasi dan keterampilan literasi peserta didik di era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the trends, directions, theories, approaches, methods, and research gaps in language learning research at the elementary school level in the digital era. The study employed a literature review method by systematically examining national and international journal articles published between 2020 and 2025 that focus on language learning, educational technology, and digital innovation in primary education. The findings indicate that recent research trends emphasize the implementation of innovative, technology-integrated learning models such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Game-Based Learning (GBL), Blended Learning, and Project-Based Learning, which have been shown to enhance students’ literacy, motivation, and communication skills. Theoretical foundations commonly used include constructivism, connectivism, and social-cognitive learning theories, with dominant research approaches being Research and Development (R&D) and quasi-experimental designs. The review identifies several research gaps, including the limited integration of artificial intelligence, digital learning analytics, and long-term evaluations of technology-based language learning effectiveness in elementary education. This review provides a comprehensive overview of the future research directions, highlighting the importance of integrating innovative pedagogical approaches and digital technology to foster relevant and meaningful language learning in the 21st century.

Abstract

Introduction: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is an established independent risk factor for cognitive decline and dementia. While oral anticoagulation is known to mitigate this risk compared to no treatment, the comparative effectiveness of direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) versus vitamin K antagonists (VKAs) on cognitive outcomes remains a subject of ongoing investigation. This systematic review and meta-analysis aims to synthesize the current evidence comparing the effects of DOACs and VKAs on the incidence of dementia in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF). Methods: A systematic literature search was conducted across PubMed, Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, Springer, Wiley Online Library databases for randomized controlled trials and observational studies comparing DOACs with VKAs in adults with NVAF and reporting on incident dementia or other cognitive and clinical outcomes. The study was conducted in accordance with PRISMA guidelines. The primary outcome was incident all-cause dementia. Secondary outcomes included dementia subtypes (vascular, Alzheimer's), ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, mortality, and major bleeding events. Adjusted hazard ratios (HRs) were pooled using a random-effects model. The Newcastle-Ottawa Scale was used to assess the risk of bias in observational studies. Results: A total of 16 observational cohort studies, encompassing over 1.5 million patients, were included in the final analysis. The pooled data demonstrated that treatment with DOACs was associated with a significantly lower risk of incident all-cause dementia compared to treatment with VKAs (Hazard Ratio 0.88, 95% Confidence Interval [CI] 0.80–0.98). The benefit was most pronounced for vascular dementia, where DOACs showed a significant risk reduction, whereas no significant difference was observed for Alzheimer's disease. Subgroup analyses revealed that the protective effect of DOACs was more evident in patients younger than 75 years (HR 0.86, 95% CI 0.81–0.92) and in Asian populations (HR 0.81, 95% CI 0.68–0.86). Consistent with their known safety profile, DOACs were associated with a significantly lower risk of intracranial hemorrhage (HR approximately 0.47) compared to VKAs Discussion: The findings suggest that the neuroprotective benefit of DOACs over VKAs is likely mediated through a more stable anticoagulation profile and a superior cerebral safety profile, particularly the marked reduction in both clinical and subclinical intracranial bleeding. The attenuated benefit in the elderly may reflect a higher burden of competing risks and non-AF-related dementia pathologies. The pronounced effect in Asian populations may be linked to pharmacogenomic factors affecting VKA metabolism. Conclusion: In patients with NVAF, the use of DOACs is associated with a lower incidence of dementia compared to VKAs. This finding supports the preferential use of DOACs, not only for their established stroke prevention efficacy and safety but also for their potential long-term cognitive benefits.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis perbandingan antara dua aplikasi cloud terkemuka, yaitu OpenShift dan Cloud Foundry. Analisis ini mencakup beberapa aspek kunci, termasuk arsitektur, integrasi, pengembangan aplikasi front-end, Vendor Outlook and Evolution, skalabilitas, bahasa dan teknologi, komunitas dan dukungan, biaya dan lisensi, serta fleksibilitas deployment. Melalui penelitian ini, disajikan perbandingan yang komprehensif antara OpenShift dan Cloud Foundry, mempertimbangkan kelebihan dan kelemahan masing-masing platform. Artikel ini memberikan wawasan yang berguna bagi organisasi atau pengembang yang sedang mempertimbangkan antara kedua platform ini, membantu dalam membuat keputusan yang tepat untuk kebutuhan cloud, dan mengembangkan aplikasi.
