Abstract

This objective of this study is to find the relationship of sense of belonging with community participation in waste banks in the Kemayoran District Area. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach. The population of this study was 134 residents who participated in the waste bank in the Kemayoran District Area. This research sampel is 100 residents who are administrator and customers the Waste Banks. Data analysis uses simple linear regression analysis test of correlation. The research releaved that there was a correlation beetwen sense of belonging and society participation in the waste banks seen from the calculation of the correlation between variables that is equal to r = 0,373 and the effective contribution of sense of belonging with society participation in the waste bank was 13,9% (r2 =0,139%). The results of these calculations indicate that the sense of belonging as a factor of participation is behind 13.9%. There other factors that influence the sense of belonging such as trust, the similarities that belong to organization members, age, social interaction and family functions which can motivate public participation in the garbage bank in the Kemayoran District Area by 86.1%. This research can be used as a reference for further research in the field of social and environmental sciences

Abstract

This research aims to determine if the application of the Cooperative learning model type Bamboo Dancing can improve the learning outcomes of IPS. This study was conducted on class VII-5 which amounted to 32 students at MTsN 11 Jakarta in the second semester of the 2018/2019 from March to May 2019. The method used in this research is the classroom action research that use three cycles, each of which consists of four stages : planning, acting, observing and reflection. Based on the results of research from learning outcomes there is an increase in each of cycle. In the first cycle 1 of 47% (15 students) reached a score above KKM 73 with an average of 68 learning outcomes, In  cycles 2 of 72% (23 students) reached a score above KKM 73 with an average of 76 learning outcomes, and In cycle 3 of 84% (27 students) reached a score above KKM 73 With an average value of 83 learning outcomes. In addition to increased learning outcomes, the activity of learners has also increased on each of its cycle based on the ability to asking, answering, arguing and collaborate. It can be concluded that the implementation of the Cooperative learning model type Bamboo Dancing can improve the learning outcomes of learners and can improve the learner activity, so that learners can get better IPS learning outcomes that are above KKM 73.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the causes of volunteers leaving their jobs and preferring to manage Reading Parks, Edelweiss Volunteer motivation in managing Reading Parks and management strategies Edelweiss Reading Park. The study was conducted in Edelweiss Reading Park, Kamal Village, Kalideres District, West Jakarta City for approximately 2 months from the end of February to April 2020. This research method uses qualitative, with data collection technique through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The sources of data in this study are Edelweiss Reading Park owners as key informants and four Edelweiss Volunteers who manage Reading Park as core informants. The research produced  that: (1) The causes of volunteer leaving their previous jobs and prefer to manage the reading park are due to internal and external factors that motivate volunteers. Internal factors include the thought that as human beings must be beneficial to others,  wants to channel their potential, because of the social soul high. External factors which include, the surrounding environment, the community, RT/RW management, and motivational factors from volunteer parents. (2) The motivation of edelweiss volunteers in managing the reading park is more dominated by self-actualization needs. (3) Edelweiss reading park management strategies, including planning that begins with a joint discussion, implementation of activities, programs, and management of funds and evaluation of activities as a reference for subsequent planning.

Abstract

Kompleksitas permasalahan yang dihadapi perempuan adat pendatang di Kasepuhan Anyar pasca mereka memutuskan diri untuk menjadi bagian dari warga adat, terutama dalam pengelolaan sistem budaya padi tidak lepas dari rangkaian relasi di dalamnya (relasi gender, relasi kuasa, relasi sosial, dan relasi budaya). Dengan demikian tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menelusuri pengalaman para perempuan adat pendatang dalam membangun makna terkait sistem budaya padi yang tidak lepas dari beragam relasi (gender, sosial, budaya, kuasa), melalui pendekatan interaksionisme simbolik. Permasalahan yang diangkat adalah: Bagaimana perempuan adat pendatang membangun pengetahuan dalam memaknai sistem budaya padi? Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada masyarakat adat Kesatuan Banten Kidul, tepatnya di Kasepuhan Anyar yang berada di Kabupaten Sukabumi Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif perspektif feminis, dengan tipe fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, observasi partisipan, studi data sekunder, dan dokumentasi. Proses analisis data dilakukan sejak penelitian lapangan berlangsung, data yang telah diperoleh kemudian ditranskrip, coding, dan analisis menggunakan teori yang telah ditentukan. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan pemaknaan yang dilakukan oleh perempuan adat pendatang tidak lepas dari proses interaksi yang mereka lakukan atas sistem sosial budaya yang berlaku dan berkelindan dengan seperangkat aturan, symbol, juga berlakunya sistem kabendon dalam kehidupan baru mereka sebagai warga adat.
