Mathematics learning has important and strategic roles in Indonesian education-system. One of mathematical subjects learnt at school is geometry. Many real-life contexts are related to concept of geometry, especially surface-area and volume. However, some previous studies show that many students have difficulties learning concepts of surface-area and volume of prisms and pyramids. This due to learning that only emphasizes on memorizing formulas makes the learning itself less meaningful for students, so students’ learning motivation is low. One alternative that can be done is the use of student worksheets (LKPD). This worksheet is based on a learning approach that facilitates students to build their understanding independently and present meaningful mathematical activities. Therefore, in this study, discovery-learning based worksheets were developed for surface-area and volume of prisms and pyramids. This study uses Research and Development method within ADDIE model. Result of this study shows that LKPD is valid. This is indicated by results of expert validation wich obtains 83.09% that meets valid criteria. Moreover, the assessment of experts on the aspect of "the suitability of LKPD with concept of discovery-learning" obtained 81.25% which indicates that the mathematical concept and activities used in the worksheets is in accordance with the concept of discovery-learning.

The purpose of this research is to measure the mathematical attitude of class VIII MTsN 3 Jombang students when the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) learning model is applied. The method used in this study is an experimental method in the form of a pre-experimental design with the type of one-shot case study. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII D at MTsN 3 Jombang. The instruments used for data collection were observations and questionnaires to measure the value of students' attitudes when applying the CORE learning model. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. Based on calculations from the results of observations and questionnaires, the attitude value of the questionnaire was 1335 from a perfect score of 1716 while from observation was 956 from a perfect score of 1248. The percentage of the data was 77.8% of the questionnaire data and 76.6% of the observation data and the average the average of these percentages is 77.3%. Because the student's attitude value is > 70%, it is declared successful. That is, the predicate of the attitude value of class VIII D students at MTsN 3 Jombang when applying the CORE learning model is in the good category.

The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of the CORE learning model in improving mathematical literacy of students grade 8th. This research uses pre-experimental design research method with the type of method is one-group pretest-posttest design, the research approach used is quantitative. The research instrument uses tests and non-tests. Test instruments in the form of pretest and post-test were used to measure students' mathematical literacy before and after applying CORE learning model. The non-test instrument used was an interview with a grade 8thmathematics teacher to determine the implementation of learning carried out in the classroom. The subject is class VIII D MTs Salafiyah Syafiiyah Bandung. The data analysis technique used is the paired sample t test. Based on the calculation of the paired sample t test, the resulting significance value is 0.000. The significance value shows 0.000 < 0.05 error level, so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted. This acceptance of Ha means that there are differences in the level of mathematical literacy of grade 8thMTs Salafiyah Syafiiyah Bandung before and after applying CORE learning model. This means that the CORE learning model is effective for improving students' mathematical literacy.

Students’understanding of mathematical concepts is important to be aquired, due to the use of mathematical concepts is variety of context in everyday life. One of the mathematical material that is widely used in real life is concept of Statistics: presenting statistical data. However, based on the facts in the field and results of several previous studies, they show that many students have difficulty presenting statistical data. This is due to a lack of initial understanding. Therefore, in this study, teaching materials are developed to support learning. In this study, Discovery Learning-based worksheets are developed on the material of presenting statistical data for Junior High School students (SMP/MTs). This study is a development research by applying ADDIE model. Based on results of expert validation, which is consist of mathematics lecturers and teachers, an average rating of 87.5% was obtained and met "Valid" criteria. LKPD obtained an assessment result of 87.59% which met "Practical" criteria. The results of implementation phase obtained an average learning outcome of 81.63 and is above KKM. This shows that the use of Discovery Learning-based LKPD can help students learn concept of Statistics: presenting statistical data.

However, based on the results of several previous studies and facts in the field, it shows that many students experience difficulties in the Quadrilaterals material. Therefore, in this study, teaching materials are developed to support learning. In this study, inquiry-based worksheets are developed on quadrilaterals for class VII students of SMP/MTs. This study is a development research by applying the ADDIE model. Based on the results of expert reviews, namely mathematics education lecturers and mathematics teachers, an average of 94% was obtained and meets the "Valid" criteria. LKPD obtained an assessment result of 88.46% which meets the "Practical" criteria. The results of implementing LKPD in learning obtained an average learning result of 83.5., of which 86.66% of students score above the KKM and only 13.34% of students score below the KKM. This shows that the use of inquiry-based worksheets can help students learn quadrilateral material.

Mathematical concepts cannot be separated from real context that we face daily. Therefore, mathematics classroom should involve application of mathematical concepts in solving real-life problems. However, this practices generally only prioritizes on process of mathematizing real-life problems into mathematical form. This makes students experience difficulties in understanding and applying mathematical concepts to real-life. One learning approach that facilitates the use of real-life contexts in learning is Realistic-Mathematics-Education (RME). Apart from that, learning can be assisted using learning media. Therefore, this study aims to develop learning media in the form of an electronic booklet (e-booklet) for learning probability at 8th grade. This study employs Research and Development method by applying ADDIE model. The results show that the E-Booklet received an expert assessment in the Very Valid category (87%). Meanwhile, the assessment on the media aspect obtained a score of 85.5% in the Very Valid category. The results of filling out the student response questionnaire obtained an average of 80.12% and were in the practical category. The N-Gain Pre-Test and Post-Test results show that the e-booklet obtains 82% which is in effective category. This shows that the e-booklet is effective in supporting students' understanding the mathematics concepts.

Family Empowerment and Welfare (PKK) is a community organization in Indonesia that operates to empower women, especially housewives. The main objective of the PKK program is to improve the welfare of families and communities, especially through empowering women. Therefore, this community service activity focuses on empowering women in the form of training on the fish farming system in buckets (budidaya ikan dalam ember). Budidaya ikan dalam ember (budikdamber) is an aquaponics (fish and vegetable polyculture) which is carried out by utilizing a narrow area of the house yard to cultivate fish and vegetables in containers. Making a budikdamber system does not require expensive costs because it can use used household tools or items. Apart from that, the budikdamber system does not require water and large areas of land. Therefore, this system is suitable for application in narrow yard areas. This service activity was carried out by adopting the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. The partners or targets of this community service activity are PKK women from Dukuhmojo village, Mojoagung subdistrict, Jombang regency. The results of the training activities show that through these training activities partners gain knowledge and understanding of the budikdamber system. After attending the training, the partners stated that the budikdamber system could make home gardens more productive. Apart from that, training activities also motivate participants to implement the budikdamber system in their respective home environments.

ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to determine the feasibility of Android-based learning media oriented towards students' critical thinking in mathematics induction material. This research uses the ADDIE development model. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of data analysis from material experts, namely mathematics subject teachers, obtained 90% included in the valid criteria and validation from media experts, namely Mathematics Education Lecturers) obtained 87.5% included in the valid criteria. Meanwhile, in the results of the questionnaire analysis of student responses, it was found that at least 75% or more students responded in the yes category for each aspect responded to which was included in the practical criteria. These results indicate that Android-based learning media is oriented towards students' critical thinking skills in mathematics induction material and is feasible and has received a positive response from students, which means that students are enthusiastic and interested in using Android-based learning media and that Android-based learning media can help students in receive learning materials. KEYWORDS: development, learning media, critical thingking ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari media pembelajaran berbasis android beroerientasi berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi induksi matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data dari ahli materi yaitu dengan guru mata Pelajaran matematika diperoleh 90% termasuk dalam kriteria valid dan validasi ahli media yaitu dengan Dosen Pendidikan Matematika diperoleh 87,5% termasuk dalam kriteria valid. Sedangkan pada hasil analisis angket respon peserta didik diperoleh minimal 75% atau lebih peserta didik merespon dalam kategori iya untuk setiap aspek yang direspon yang termasuk dalam kriteria praktis. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis android berorientasi kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi induksi matematika layak dan mendapat respon positif dari peserta didik yang berarti peserta didik antusias dan tertarik dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis android serta media pembelajaran berbasis android ini dapat membantu peserta didik dalam menerima materi pembelajaran. Each student has a different level of ability to solve questions. These level differences indicate the need to provide scaffolding for students who experience difficulties. This research aims to describe the provision of scaffolding to students in the unistructural category in the SOLO Taxonomy level. The research subjects consisted of six students of class XII who were selected through the unistructural level SOLO Taxonomy classification test. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The instruments used are tests, interview guidelines and scaffolding guidelines. Scaffolding is given to students by referring to test and interview results. Scaffolding is provided so that students in the unistructural category can use more than one information/concept and link each concept together to be able to make relevant conclusions. The scaffolding used is level 2 scaffolding, namely explaining, reviewing restructuring, and level 3 scaffolding, namely developing conceptual thinking.

Education has a central role in shaping qualified individuals who are ready to face global challenges. Islamic education, especially through madrasah, has a special responsibility in developing the religious aspects of students. In connection with the management of educational programs, MTsN 3 Jombang has 3 excellent programs, one of which is the Takhassus Center. The program has 3 branches of boarding school material which include the fields of Tahsin / Tahifdhul Quran, Worship Practices and Reading the Book, and this research only focuses on the field of reading yellow book (kitab kuning). This study aims to analyze more deeply as well as describe the planning management of the takhassus center program in the field of reading the book, the management of the implementation of the takhassus center program in the field of reading the book and the evaluation management of the takhassus center program in the field of reading yellow book (buku kuning). This study employs qualitative approach method with a type of case study. In collecting data, researchers employ triangulation data analysis techniques which include observation, open interviews and documentation, research conducted at MTsN 3 Jombang. The results showed that the management of the takhassus center program in the field of reading kitab class VIII MTsN 3 Jombang was carried out by the process of Planning, Implementation, Program evaluation both from the aspect of written and oral exam assessment to measure students' understanding of the contents of the yellow book.
