Abstract

This study assesses the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) applications on academic performance among students of the Faculty of Science and Technology at Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya using the DeLone & McLean IS Success Model. A descriptive quantitative method was employed, collecting data from 100 students via online questionnaires. Regression analysis results indicate that system quality, information quality, and service quality contribute to academic performance by 20.2%, 10.8%, and 16.7% respectively, with a total contribution of 28.3%. The findings suggest that while AI applications play a role in academic performance, their impact is still limited. Future research is recommended to involve a broader respondent base and explore alternative theoretical models to gain a more comprehensive understanding of AI’s impact on education. This study aims to provide valuable insights for educational institutions in integrating AI technology to enhance learning quality.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate strategies in the recruitment and selection process of interns as part of companies' efforts to build sustainable talent development pipelines, using a desk-based approach. Information was collected through a review of relevant academic journals, scientific articles, and research reports. The study results indicate that successful recruitment strategies include utilizing social media platforms, strengthening the company's image as an attractive employer, and collaborating with higher education institutions. Furthermore, a systematic intern selection process—through interviews, aptitude tests, and the use of technology such as an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)— has been shown to improve accuracy in selecting suitable candidates and reduce potential bias. Several supporting factors identified include management involvement, the use of digital technology, and partnerships with educational institutions, while key barriers include limited resources and intern readiness. Overall, the implementation of a well- planned internship program not only improves the effectiveness of the recruitment process but also strengthens workforce loyalty and sustainability within the company. These findings provide theoretical contributions to human resource management studies and offer practical recommendations for organizations in optimally managing talent development.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed how organizations manage human resources (HR). This study aims to examine employee readiness in digital transformation by focusing on psychological, technical, and organizational aspects. A systematic literature review of 25 national and international journals 2020 until 2025 was conducted using content analysis. The results show that readiness depends not only on digital skills but also on psychological factors such as confidence and openness to change, supported by leadership, training, and flexible structures. Challenges include resistance to change, low digital literacy, and rigid bureaucracy in public institutions. The study emphasizes the importance of digital leadership and adaptive learning systems to strengthen transformation. Theoretically, this research expands HR readiness discourse by combining technical and cultural perspectives. Practically, it guides organizations in creating strategies that integrate technology adoption with human-centered approaches to ensure sustainable transformation. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the behavioral risk caused by the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) phenomenon in precious metal investment decision making among Pegadaian UPC Pasar Wadungasri customers. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, through in-depth interviews with 15 respondents aged 25–50 years. The results of the study indicate that most novice investors are driven to buy precious metals due to the influence of social media, viral trends, and social pressure, not based on rational considerations or mature financial planning. FOMO symptoms trigger impulsive, high-risk investment decisions with minimal information analysis. In contrast, more experienced customers show more careful, planned, and data-based investment behavior. These findings emphasize the importance of increasing financial literacy and the active role of financial institutions such as Pegadaian in educating the public to be able to build risk-aware, rational, and sustainable investment patterns amidst the rapid flow of digital information.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze credit risk management strategies in financing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) implemented by Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), considering that credit risk is a major challenge in Islamic banking due to the profit-sharing system, which potentially increases the level of non-performing financing (NPF). Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research collects data through in-depth interviews with risk managers, credit analysts, and MSME entrepreneurs, as well as document analysis of risk management policies and BSI’s annual reports. Thematic analysis techniques are applied to identify patterns in the risk mitigation strategies implemented. The findings indicate that BSI applies various risk mitigation strategies, such as implementing Sharia-based business feasibility assessments, collaborating with microfinance institutions like Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT), and optimizing monitoring and collection systems. Internal factors, such as the quality of credit risk analysis, and external factors, including global economic conditions and regulatory changes, play a crucial role in determining the effectiveness of these strategies. By understanding the dynamics of credit risk in MSME financing, this study provides valuable insights for stakeholders in the Islamic banking industry to develop more effective risk mitigation policies, enhance MSMEs’ access to financing, optimize bank profitability, and ensure the stability of the Islamic financial sector in Indonesian.

Abstract

Basic human needs encompass not only food, clothing, and shelter, but also a sense of safety and control over health-related risks. In today’s fast-paced lifestyle, the consumption of packaged and convenience foods has risen significantly, prompting rapid growth in the processed food industry and increased market competition. This shift poses new challenges in managing dietary risks, particularly regarding the intake of unhealthy food that contributes to non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes, whose prevalence continues to rise in Indonesia. This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to evaluate the role of front-of-pack nutrition labeling—specifically formats such as Nutri-Score and Health Star Rating—as tools of consumer risk management. The findings indicate that clear and easily interpretable labeling designs are effective in improving nutritional literacy, influencing consumer behavior, and guiding healthier food choices. Thus, nutrition labeling acts not only as an information tool but also as a preventive risk mitigation strategy in public health. This review contributes to the discourse on labeling policy development and supports its integration into broader health risk management frameworks to promote healthier dietary practices.

Abstract

Perkembangan zaman yang semakin maju dan modern, membuat masyarakat mau tidak mau harus mengikuti kemajuan teknologi yang ada. Dimana saat ini semua bentuk kebutuhan manusia dibuat menjadi sebuah aplikasi untuk membantu agar kehidupannya lebih fleksibel. Salah satu contohnya yaitu, aplikasi JConnect Mobile yang dibuat untuk memudahkan manusia dalam urusan pelayanan perbankan. Tujuan dari dibuatnya penelitian ini, yaitu untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan operasional dari aplikasi JConnect dengan menggunakan framework ITIL V3. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini, yaitu penelitian kualitatif. Dimana pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan cara wawancara. Data yang dikumpulkan bisa berupa opini, pandangan, dan persepsi dari setiap responden terkait dengan pelayanan perbankan pada aplikasi JConnect Mobile. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa ITIL 3 sangat disarankan untuk menaikkan standar layanan perbankan. Hasil wawancara yang didapatkan terdapat beberapa jawaban dari narasumber yang bermakna negatif seperti aplikasi JConnect sering mengalami bug dan lain sebagainya. Dengan memantau dan menilai secara berkelanjutan, bank juga dapat menjamin bahwa layanan yang diberikan sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan nasabah. Maka dari itu, bank perlu mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kualitas layanan aplikasinya agar dapat mempererat relasi dengan nasabah.

Abstract

Pelayanan publik merupakan mediator pemerintah dalam memberikan layanan kebutuhan masyarakat. Perkembangan teknologi mempermudah aparatur negara dan daerah dalam memberikan pelayanan publik melalui sebuah aplikasi disebut E-Government. Seperti halnya Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kota Pasuruan telah mencoba menyelenggarakan aplikasi E-Sambat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberi pemahaman terkait kualitas layanan E-Sambat berdasarkan pendekatan dimensi E-GovQual, gap antara kinerja E-Sambat dengan harapan masyarakat untuk aplikasi E-Sambat, serta mengetahui item mana saja yang akan dijadikan prioritas untuk segera diperbaiki pada aplikasi E-Sambat. Untuk menganalisis kelayakan aplikasi menggunakan GAP dan metode Important Performance Analysis (IPA) digunakan untuk menganalisa item yang dijadikan prioritas pembenahan. Responden pada penelitian ini sebanyak 445 responden. Berdasarkan hasil analisa yang dilakukan, kualitas layanan aplikasi E-Sambat sudah sangat layak dengan nilai persentase kelayakan sebesar 100%, GAP kinerja aplikasi dan harapan masyarakat untuk variabel Kemudahan Penggunaan (Ease of Use) sebesar 0,08, variabel Kepercayaan sebesar -0,04, variabel Functionality of the Interaction Environment sebesar 0,02, variabel Kehandalan sebesar -0,03, variabel Isi dan Tampilan Informasi sebesar 0,01, dan variabel Dukungan Masyarakat sebesar 0,00. Rata-rata gap secara keseluruhan sebesar 0,01 yang berarti bahwa masyarakat puas terhadap layanan aplikasi E-Sambat. Ada enam item yang dijadikan prioritas perbaikan yaitu TR 1 (keamanan data pribadi pengguna E-Sambat), TR 6 (akses kontrol pengguna E-Sambat), RLB 1 (kecepatan dalam mengunduh formulir E-Sambat), CAI 7 (penggunaan warna di aplikasi E-Sambat), CAI 8 (grafis pada aplikasi E-Sambat), dan CS 5 (Pertanyaan pengguna dijawab dengan cepat).

Abstract

In this research discusses the implementation of GIS to solve the problems that often occur in Islamic Boarding Schools, especially Islamic Boarding Schools of Amanatul Ummah Surabaya. The problem faces at Amanatul Ummah is still using the manual system in determining rooms for new students, so many rooms in this Islamic boarding school an overcapacity. The alternative solution to this problem is to develop a system that could be mapping and know the capacity of each room along with the number of room occupants so that to reduce excess capacity. This application can help determine and show the capacity of each room because the safety and comfort of student in Islamic Boarding School could be influenced by health and social factor. Other than that a vision of the Amanatul Ummah especially superior, whole, and glorious of a human being can be achieved

Abstract

This research aims to explore the strategic integration of the COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Associated Technologies) and PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) frameworks in optimizing audit and project management practices in the academic world. This research draws on practice-based case studies as well as existing literature to highlight the benefits and strategies for implementing the strategic integration of COBIT and PMBOK in the academic world. Aligning governance with project management principles, an institution such as higher education can enhance their efforts to achieve academic excellence. COBIT and PMBOK integration strengthens audit practices by ensuring regulatory compliance, practical risk assessment, and robust controls. It also promotes a structured approach to project management, improved planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and communication. Collaboration between the audit and project management teams is facilitated through this integration, enabling effective communication, coordination and knowledge sharing. Colleges can then position themselves strategically to achieve academic excellence, aligning their operations with strategic goals and driving efficiency, transparency and accountability. Based on this discussion, it can be concluded that integrating the COBIT and PMBOK frameworks can advance the efforts of an institution, namely higher education, to achieve academic excellence and strengthen leadership in the field of education.
