Abstract

Abstract

One form of water energy utilization is done by building a Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA) in Indonesia, the Bakaru PLTA is one of the projects within PT. PLN (Persero). This project is a Hydro Power Plant Master project with a SULSELRABAR transmission located 246 km from the city of Makassar. The operation of the Bakaru hydropower system is certainly expected to work optimally, reliably and efficiently. Therefore, evaluation or data on the performance of the generator itself is needed. This study was conducted to determine the condition of the Bakaru hydropower plant based on the equivalent availability factor (EAF) and Net Capacity Factor (NCF) and Cost of Production (BPP). The data used is operating data on the Bakaru hydropower plant for 1 year. The data was obtained by using the documentation technique, while the data analysis was carried out using the Microsoft Excel program. After conducting research, it can be concluded that the condition of the Bakaru hydropower plant in 2017 is considered normal, seen from the EAF value reaching 94.15% and the average EFOR value of 2.4% with the number of Service Hours (SH) of 16,912.93 hours from 2 units. with the percentage of Service Hours to Period Hours reaching 96.53%. Meanwhile, the Net Capacity Factor of the Bakaru hydropower plant in 2017 reached 85.83%, with a total gross energy production of 945,372.50 MWh. This value exceeds the target that has been set.

Abstract

The impact of this is that sales of beauty products can contribute significantly to a country's economy. Successful cosmetics companies can create jobs, pay taxes and contribute to economic growth. This can influence consumer preferences and provide companies with information about what the market is interested in. This study aims to determine the effect of electronic word of mouth and product quality on purchasing decisions mediated by brand image on Maybelline mascara products in Indonesia. The population in this study are people who have bought Maybelline mascara on TikTok social media at least twice. This study will use a causal design approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as a statistical approach to test constructs and hypotheses built with AMOS 24 statistical aids. The number of samples used in this study were 215 respondents who had bought Maybelline mascara on TikTok at least 2 times. The results of this study indicate that electronic word of mouth and product quality have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions mediated by brand image.

Abstract

Abstract

This study analyzes the work-life balance (WLB) of students who work as celebgams in Pontianak and Palangka Raya. Utilizing a qualitative method through in-depth interviews with seven informants, this research explores how celebgram students manage the balance between academic demands and their careers on social media and identify the challenges they face. The findings indicate significant differences in experiences between celebgam students in the two cities, particularly concerning commercial pressures and time flexibility. The main challenges identified include time management, social pressure, and follower expectations. This research provides important insights into the complexities students face in the digital age and its implications for educational policies and student well-being.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of employer branding, e-recruitment, and corporate reputation on job applicants' intention to apply, with social media usage as a moderating variable. In a competitive digital landscape, understanding how these factors influence job seekers' behavior is crucial for companies aiming to attract top talent. Based on a sample of 203 respondents and measured using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), the study demonstrates that both employer branding and e-recruitment positively and significantly influence the intention to apply. Corporate reputation is crucial in determining applicants' decisions, and social media activity strengthens the correlation between the intention to apply for jobs and the company's reputation. These results imply that businesses should prioritize employer branding and actively manage their digital presence, particularly on social media, to better engage with and attract potential job applicants.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of employer attractiveness, social media, and corporate reputation as mediating variables on the job application intentions of Generation Z in West Kalimantan. The population for this research consists of 194 Gen Z respondents from West Kalimantan. The study employs a quantitative approach, collecting data through an online survey using Google Forms. The data is analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of the SMARTPLS 4.0 statistical application. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that employer attractiveness does not significantly encourage Generation Z to apply for jobs in West Kalimantan. In contrast, social media effectively boosts their interest in applying. Both employer attractiveness and social media influence corporate reputation, which in turn encourages Generation Z to apply for jobs. Additionally, a strong reputation enhances the effects of employer attractiveness and social media in attracting applicants.
