Abstract

Literary works in Indonesia, including novels, both in terms of ideas and content, are heavily influenced by works from abroad. This influence is caused by many things, for example Indonesian writers who idolize foreign writers, similarities in social situations and conditions, or even unplanned similarities because Indonesian writers unconsciously intensively read one of the works of foreign writers. This research attempts to compare the novel Ipung by Prie GS with the novel the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Comparisons are only limited to pouring out the ideas, genres, and motives contained in the two novels. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that describes a number of ideas, genres, and motives concerning the basic issues of creation, and the message can be expressed accuratel. Based on the research results, it was stated that the novel Sang Alkemis by Paulo Coelho influenced Prie GS novel Ipung, both in terms of ideas, genres, and motives.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was carried out because in one lesson the teacher still separated the subject matter that should be contained thematically. In addition, the learning process is not optimal because students experience adjustments due to the implementation of online learning. So, the provision of learning media is very important in the learning process, one of which is using animated videos. The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of animated video on cognitive learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN Kepuh Kiriman I Waru Sidoarjo. This research is included in the type of true experimental, with a posttest-only control design. The research subjects were 51 students. The results obtained from the experimental class amounted to 2,292 with an average of 91.68 and the highest score was 100 as many as 6 students. While the score in the control class was 2,096, with an average of 80.62 and the highest score was 100, with 3 students. The results of the calculation of hypothesis testing using SPSS version 26 software are proven by a significant value of 0.000 which means a value less than 0.05 indicates Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So, it can be concluded that animated videos have a very good effect on cognitive learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SDN Kepuh Kiriman I Waru Sidoarjo.Keywords: animated video, learning outcomes.

Abstract

Two mathematical mindsets are part of the four mathematical mindsets integrated into the technique of writing observation report texts, a writing method developed by Ayu Utami. This study aimed to investigate the effect of two mathematical mindsets on the students’ ability to write observation report texts in grade 4 at SDN Dukuh Menanggal 1 Surabaya. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental posttest-only design. The samples consisted of grade 4A students as the control group and grade 4B students as the experimental group. The t-test results showed that the t-count was 9.860, while the t-table was 2.0262 at a 5% significance level with 37 degrees of freedom. Since t-count (9.860) > t-table (2.0262), the hypothesis was accepted. The study concluded that the two mathematical mindsets technique significantly improved the students’ skills in writing observation report texts.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan resistensi yang dilakukan oleh seorang perempuan kepada orang lain. Hal ini ditunjukkan melalui bentuk resistensi terbuka dan resistensi tertutup dalam film Yuni karya Kamila Andini. Data yang digunakan berupa dialog antartokoh yang mengandung teori resistensi dari James C. Scott yaitu tentang resistensi terbuka dan resistensi tertutup dalam sumber data, yaitu film Yuni karya Kamila Andini. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini, yaitu menggunakan dokumentasi, simak dan unduh video. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah teknik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua bentuk resistensi dalam film Yuni karya Kamila Andini yaitu resistensi terbuka dan resistensi tertutup. Resistensi terbuka dilakukan oleh tokoh perempuan dalam bentuk pengelakan dan sanggahan kemarahan yang ditunjukkan pada nada tinggi dan ditunjukkan pada ekspresi wajah. Resistensi tertutup dilakukan oleh tokoh perempuan dalam film Yuni karya Kamila Andini ditunjukkan dalam bentuk penolakan yang ditunjukkan melalui tingkah laku yang kurang baik, memendam kegundahan, dan tangisan yang ditunjukkan kepada orang lain. Kata kunci : resistensi, bentuk resistensi, kumpulan dalam film yuni Abstract This study aims to describe the resistance that a woman exerts to others. This Hal is shown through the form of open resistance and closed resistance in the film Yuni by Kamila Andini. The data used is in the form of inter-character dialogue containing the theory of resistance from James C. Scott, which is about open resistance and closed resistance in data sources, namely the film Yuni by Kamila Andini. Data collection techniques in this study, namely using documentation, view and download videos. The data analysis technique carried out is a descriptive technique. The results of this study show that there are two forms of resistance in Kamila Andini's Yuni film, namely open resistance and closed resistance. Open resistance is exercised by the female character in the form of circumvention and rebuttal of anger shown on high notes and shown on facial expressions. The closed resistance carried out by the female character in Kamila Andini's Yuni is shown in the form of rejection shown through unkind behavior, harboring turmoil, and crying shown to others. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perkembangan teknologi, guru dituntut untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran. Dalam proses pembelajaran, diperlukan perencanaan yang matang terhadap apa yang akan dilakukan, salah satunya dengan menciptakan suasana belajar yang menarik dan membuat siswa antusias dengan apa yang disampaikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimental, dengan desain eksperimen yang benar. Bentuk desain yang digunakan adalah Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan subjek terhadap 48 siswa kelas empat di SDN Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya. Instrumen penilaian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang diperoleh, dapat dilihat dari rata-rata nilai posttest. Kelas eksperimen mendapat skor rata-rata 91,4 dan kelas kontrol adalah 80,4. Untuk membuktikannya lebih lanjut, peneliti menganalisis data hipotetis dengan menggunakan uji-t non-parametrik menggunakan uji-t non-parametrik menggunakan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah 0,001 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hasil penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penerapan media pembelajaran interaktif dengan menggunakan alur cerita artikulasi 3 penerapan pada hasil belajar kognitif keseimbangan materi dan pelestarian sumber daya alam di kelas IV.Kata Kunci: Teknologi, Media Pembelajaran, Mengartikulasikan Alur Cerita 3 Abstract This research is motivated by the development of technology, teachers are required to optimize the use of technology in the learning process. In the learning process, careful planning is needed for what will be done, one of which is by creating an interesting learning atmosphere and making students enthusiastic about what is conveyed. This study uses experimental research methods, with a true experimental design. The design form used is Posttest-Only Control Group Design. This study used a subject of 48 fourth grade students at SDN Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya. The assessment instrument used in this research is using a test. Based on the results of the analysis of the data obtained, it can be seen from the average posttest value. The experimental class got an average score of 91.4 and the control class was 80.4. To prove it further, the researcher analyzed the hypothetical data by using a non-parametric t-test using the Mann Whitney test. The results obtained are 0.001 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The results of this study are that there is a significant influence on the application of interactive learning media using the articulate storyline 3 application on the cognitive learning outcomes of material balance and preservation of natural resources in class IV.Keywords: Technology, Learning Media, Articulate Storyline 3

Abstract

This research is motivated by environmental problems that occur. This is due to a lack of knowledge and understanding related to the environment. Concern for the environment can be instilled through the character education of love of the environment, especially in school. Planting environmental love character education to elementary school students can be done by providing programs related to the character of environmental love. The goals to be achieved in this study include: describing the formation of environmental love character in SDN Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya, describing the implementation of environmental love character formation programs in SDN Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya, and describing obstacles in the implementation of environmental love character formation in SDN Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The data used in this study is qualitative data on the formation of environmental love character in SDN Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya. The data sources in the study were principals, teachers, students, and student guardians, as well as supporting documents. The data collection techniques in this study are observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal or verification. The results showed that the formation of environmental love character in SDN Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya was carried out through school culture in the form of routine activities (jumberling (clean friday environment), environmental webinars, jelantah oil collection, plastic waste, paper waste, beach clean action), integrated in learning, and school programs.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the activities of student in learning with the application of peer tutoring methods and to describe student responses to the application of peer tutoring methods in class IV-C SD Negeri Kepuh Kiriman I Waru. This research uses qualitative research method with descriptive research type. The data sources for this study is students in grades IV-C with a total of 17 children. Observation and questionnaires were used as data collection methods. This study uses Miles and Huberman qualitative data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions and verification. The results show the application of Peer Tutor learning methods in grades IV-C could grow and develop student activities, because almost all students were actively involved and very enthusiastic in learning activities, both classical and group activities. Student responses to the learning process with the application of the peer tutor method received a good/positive response from students. With peer tutors, tutee students are more confident to ask questions about material they didn't understand, because the peer tutor’s language was easier to understand.
