Abstract

Masyarakat sangat setuju bahwa mengkonsumsi makanan halal adalah penting, tetapi pemahaman konsep halal pada masyarakat Indonesia tergolong masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang persepsi mahasiswa agribisnis tentang makanan halal dan tayib dan untuk menganalisa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi persepsi mahasiswa terhadap makanan halal dan tayib. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran dasar antara Kuantitatif dan Kualitatif (Mixed Methods), jenis metode campuran dasar yang digunakan ialah Sekuensial Eksplanatori. Metode analis data yang digunakan ialah model analisis linear berganda. Penelitian ini dilakukan diUniversitas Muhammadiyah Malang khususnya mahasiswa program studi Agribisnis. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan Teknik cluster random sampling mendapatkan 2 cluster yaitu cluster Angkatan 2019 dan Angkatan 2020. Jumlah sampel untuk Angkatan 2019 sebanyak 56 orang dan untuk Angkatan 2020 sebanyak 60 orang. Faktor sosial dalam penelitian ini meliputi lingkungan, latar belakang dan keluarga. 46% mahasiswa Angkatan 2019 dan 70% mahasiswa Angkatan 2020 yang menjawab bahwa Sekolah Dasar merupakan sumber pertama dalam mendapatkan pengetahuan halal pada Pendidikan formal. Untuk Pendidikan non-formal 37% dari jawaban Angkatan 2019 dan 30% dari Angkatan 2020 setuju bahwa keluarga menjadi lembaga pertama untuk mendapatkan tentang pengetahuan halal dan tayib. Halal berdasarkan dalam kitab suci Al-Quran Surah Al Baqarah ayat 168 ada 5 poin yaitu mengkonsumsi daging babi, alkohol, darah, bangkai, dan daging hewan yang disembelih tanpa mematuhi hukum/aturan dalam Islam. Hasil perhitungan uji t menunjukkan variabel Faktor sosial berpengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap persepsi mahasiswa. Untuk variabel faktor psikologis dan sikap tidak berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap persepsi mahasiswa.

Abstract

As a young generation with high potential skills, students play an essential role in shaping the future. However, many of them make it up and undervalue the agricultural sector. In response to these, this study aims to analyze the student perceptions of the future of farmers in Indonesia. The results showed that factors influencing the analysis of student's perception of the farmers have a significant positive relationship, namely between the variables of students’ perception and profession as a farmer. The Product Moment Correlation test showed that the r count (Pearson Correlation) reached 0.667, meaning that the relationship between the two variables was large or strong.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the roles of the Nuju Makmur V farmer group in Krisik Gandusari village, Blitar, and to figure out the regeneration of the farmer group in developing organic rice (BRITANIC). The researchers used descriptive analysis and the Likert scale to explore the roles of the farmer group. Moreover, the researchers conducted observation and interviews to investigate the group's regeneration in developing BRITANIC organic rice. The sampling was conducted using the saturated sampling technique in which all 20 members of the farmer group involved in the rice business became the respondents. The results show that the roles of the farmer group, such as conducting regular meetings, establishing cooperation, and managing production units, are categorized as high, with a range value between 34.1 to 42 reaching 100%. The regeneration analysis results show that in the business development of BRITANIC organic rice, the number of Nuju Makmur V farmer group members has decreased from 40 to 20 due to senescence, resettlement, and deaths from Covid-19. In conclusion, the regeneration of young farmers is crucial in developing the high-quality product of BRITANIC rice in Krisik Gandusari Village, Blitar

Abstract

The Internet of think is considered incredibly adaptable in the present digital world, one of which is non-cash payments, making it easier, faster, and decreasing human errors. It is not surprising that the government is now promoting Gerakan Nasional Non-Tunai (GNNT) program by ratifying a new application owned by one of the BUMN subsidiaries to enable payment transactions. The GNNT is now being encouraged in many sectors of Indonesian needs, including traditional markets. The objectives of this study were: 1) identifying the consumer characteristics who uses non-cash payment applications in Oro-Oro Dowo market Malang, and 2) investigating the impact of service quality, product image, and promotion on consumer satisfaction as non-cash payment application users. The research site was in Oro-Oro Dowo market, Malang. It is the first traditional market to employ non-cash payments as a payment option, with the research period beginning in April 2020. This study had 100 participants selected through the distribution of questionnaires. The data analysis employed Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling. The findings showed that the majority of respondents who use non-cash applications were female consumers (76%), had an average age of 20-25 years (47%), had undergraduate education (46%), worked as private employee (37%), and had an average income of < Rp2.000.000 (37%). The path coefficient test revealed that product image and promotion variables had a significant effect on consumer satisfaction as they had a sig value of > 0.05 while the application service variable had a sig value greater than 0.05, it had a negligible effect on consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

Inovasi teknologi E-rice detector merupakan aplikasi mobile yang dapat membantu petani dalam mendeteksi penyakit padi berbasis kecerdasan buatan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat tingkat adopsi petani padi organik di Desa Sulek terhadap inovasi teknologi, serta hubungan antara minat petani dengan tingkat adopsi petani terhadap inovasi teknologi aplikasi mobile E-rice detector. Pemilihan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive) di Desa Sulek. Responden ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dimana responden harus memenuhi beberapa kriteria agar dapat dijadikan sampel. Penelitian berlangsung pada bulan Desember 2021 dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 30 responden. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara serta penyebaran kuesioner terstruktur. Data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dan analisis pemodelan persamaan struktural (SEM) metode partial least square (PLS). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pendampingan dan kemajuan teknologi memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap minat petani untuk mengadopsi, Kesiapan petani akan teknologi tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat petani untuk mengadopsi. Sebesar 71% variabel independen dapat menjelaskan variabel dependen, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 29% dijelaskan oleh model lain di luar penelitian

Abstract

Kabupaten Banyuwangi sebagai salah satu daerah penghasil ikan terbesar di Indonesia. Bahkan sampai saat ini masih terdapat banyak pabrik pengalengan ikan yang masih beroperasi dan berada di sekitar Muncar Banyuwangi. Ini menunjukkan bahwa Muncar masih menjadi daerah yang potensial terhadap sektor perikanan tangkap yang menjadi sasaran utama untuk industri olahan perikanan. Namun dengan hasil tangkapan cenderung fluktuatif yang berdampak langsung kepada nelayan terutama pada harga jual komoditi perikanan yang dijual oleh nelayan. Namun untuk permasalahan ini, nelayan mampu mengantisipasinya dengan mengolah ikan hasil tangkapan menjadi produk olahan ikan selain dijual secara langsung. Secara langkah ini sudah berjalan dengan baik di lingkungan masyarakat sekitar lokasi produksi. Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu dengan pekembangan teknologi yang semakin dinamis serta beragam pembatasan yang diakibatkan oleh adanya Pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia. Secara tidak langsung ini akan mempengaruhi penjualan masyarakat apabila tidak ada inovasi mengenai pemasaran produk. Mengingat pentingnya pengembangan dalam pemasaran pada masa kini, maka Program Pengabdian Masyarakat oleh Mahasiswa (PMM) dalam bentuk pemberdayaan pengembangan marketing digital kepada masyarakat di Brak, Kalimoro, Kecamatan Muncar, Kabupaten Banyuwangi guna untuk mengoptimalkan pemasaran produk milik masyarakat di tengah keterbatasan dan era persaingan yang semakin ketat. Kegiatan dilaksanakan kurang lebih selama sebulan dan sebelum dilaksanakan kegiatan ada beberapa tahapan yang dilakukan mulai dari persiapan hingga pelaksanaan program. Materi dalam proses pemberdayaan masyarakat bukan hanya meliputi strategi marketing digital saja, namun juga mulai dari proses awal produksi yang mengarah pada GHP (Good Handling Product) mulai dari awal produksi sampai di konsumen. Hasilnya pendampingan yang dilakukan yakni dendeng lemuru dikemas dengan cara yang lebih modern, terbentuknya marketplace di Tokopedia dan tersedianya metode pembayaran melalui QRIS. Pemberdayaan ini merupakan bentuk pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh DPPM Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang sebagai upaya mendukung masyarakat untuk siap bersaing pada sektor pemasaran digital di Muncar, Banyuwangi.

Abstract

Egg prices exhibit high volatility over short time intervals, which is notsurprising given their affordability and popularity as a primary proteinsource. However, this fluctuation in prices poses significantchallenges for businesses, particularly in managing cash flow. Hence,it becomes crucial to evaluate the feasibility and sensitivity of theLayers farming business at PT JIF. The objective of this research is toprovide a comprehensive analysis of the characteristics, financialaspects, cost flow, and overall feasibility of PT JIF's Layers farmingoperations. To achieve this, the study employs several data analysismethods, including the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate ofReturn (IRR), Net B/C ratio, and Payback Period techniques. Thesemethods are used to assess the economic viability of PT JIF's Layersfarming business. The results demonstrate that PT JIF's layer farmingbusiness is indeed feasible, meeting the established investmentfeasibility criteria. Specifically, the NPV is greater than zero, the IRRexceeds the discount rate, the Net B/C ratio is higher than one, andthe payback period is within three years, which is shorter than thecommercial life of PT JIF's Layers farming business. For aspiringfarmers venturing into the layer farming industry, it is advised toexercise patience, resilience, and consistency, considering the returnon-investmentperiodofapproximatelythreeyears.Moreover,future researchersareencouragedtoconductsensitivityanalysestoexplore the potential effects of uncertainties on PT JIF's Layers farmingbusiness in the long term. By incorporating such sensitivity analyses,a more comprehensive understanding of the business's potentialperformance under varying circumstances can be obtained. This, inturn, would aid in making informed decisions and implementingeffective strategies for sustained success in the Layers farming sector

Abstract

Peningkatan produksi tembakau super berkaitan dengan kompetensi usahatani tembakau. petani tembakau harus mempunyai kompetensi khusus dalam menjalankan usahatani tembakau termasuk: persiapan lahan, pemilihan bibit, penanaman, pengendalian hama dan penyakit, panen, dan pasca panen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi kompetensi usahatani tembakau dalam mengelola usaha. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran dasar antara kuantitatif dan kualitatif (mixed methods). Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis linier berganda. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Sidomulyo Kecamatan Kedungadem Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan kriteria umur yang diambil 30-40 tahun. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 90 petani. Kuesioner terdiri dari 25 pertanyaan tentang Modal, sarana produksi, tenaga kerja, dukungan penyuluhan dan kompetensi petani. Hasil perhitungan uji t menunjukkan variabel modal, sarana produksi, tenaga kerja, dukungan penyuluhan berpengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap kompetensi petani tembakau.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas program pupuk subsidi melalui kartu tani di Kecamatan Talun, Kabupaten Blitar. Penelitian ini melibatkan analisis pengaruh perilaku sosial dan budaya, serta kondisi perekonomian masyarakat terhadap keunggulan kartu tani dan efektivitas program subsidi pupuk. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh perilaku sosial dan budaya terhadap keunggulan kartu tani dan efektivitas program subsidi pupuk tidak signifikan. Meskipun demikian, temuan menarik muncul dalam analisis pengaruh kondisi perekonomian masyarakat. Ditemukan bahwa kondisi perekonomian yang baik berhubungan positif dan signifikan dengan keunggulan kartu tani serta efektivitas program subsidi pupuk. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor kondisi perekonomian masyarakat memiliki peran yang lebih dominan dalam keberhasilan program pupuk subsidi melalui kartu tani di Kecamatan Talun. Meskipun demikian, perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk memahami faktor-faktor lain yang dapat meningkatkan efektivitas program ini, guna memberikan manfaat maksimal bagi petani dan pertumbuhan sektor pertanian di wilayah tersebut. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pihak terkait dalam mengoptimalkan implementasi program pupuk subsidi melalui kartu tani di Kecamatan Talun. Diperlukan upaya lebih lanjut untuk mengatasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas program ini agar dapat memberikan dampak positif yang lebih besar bagi petani dan pertanian di daerah tersebut.
