Abstract

Gaya belajar peserta didik adalah informasi awal keadaan peserta didik yang menjadi pertimbangan  dalam pemilihan metode, strategi dan model belajar yang tepat agar proses pembelajaran efektif. Deskripsi Gaya belajar masih sedikit mendapat perhatian di kalangan pendidik khusunya pada Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (FT UNG). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan gaya belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin FT UNG. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis metode survei. Data diperoleh dari 66 sampel mahasiswa aktif Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin FT UNG dengan teknikpengambilan sampel acak sederhana.Data diolah dengan menghitung persentase jawaban kuesioner yang telah dibagikan. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut, dapat dikemukakan bahwa Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin FT UNG memiliki kecendrungan gaya belajar auditori sebesar 34,85%, gaya belajar kinestetik sebesar 30,30%, dan gaya belajar visual sebesar 22,73%. Selain itu, terdapat 6,06% mahasiswa yang memiliki gaya belajar auditori-kinestetik dan 6,06% mahasiswa memiliki gaya belajar visual-auditori. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, disarankan untuk mempertimbankan pemilihan strategi, metode, dan model belajar yang bisa mengakomodasi gaya belajar auditori, kinestetik, visual, auditori-kinestetik, dan visual-auditori sesuai dengan proporsi masing-masing gaya belajar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop and determine the feasibility of animation-based interactive learning media on the vehicle body electrical system. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) using the Four D (4D) Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination model. The data analysis technique used is quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The location of this research is at Gorontalo State University and the research subjects are students who have completed or are currently taking Automotive Electrical courses. The data collection technique is a questionnaire to test the feasibility of the media. The results of this study produced a product in the form of interactive learning media based on animation on the body's electrical system. The designed learning media is declared valid because it has been tested for its validity by media experts at 81.7%, material experts at 86.6%, and students at 90%. Based on the data above, it can be concluded that the media developed is very feasible and can be used as a learning tool in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, State University of Gorontalo.

Abstract

Vocational High Schools (SMK) are mandated by law to prepare human resources who are ready to enter the world of work and become a productive workforce, but this has not been optimal in preparing students for careers. The number of unemployed in this case indicates that the percentage of unemployed vocational school graduates is still relatively high. One of the ways education plays a role in reducing unemployment is by improving the quality of education. One factor that can improve the quality of education is improving learning facilities and infrastructure. Facilities and infrastructure in the educational process are included as one of the standards of the school or educational agency concerned. This research aims to analyze: (1) the influence of infrastructure on learning outcomes, (2) the influence of motivation on learning outcomes, (3) the influence of infrastructure and motivation simultaneously on learning outcomes. This research is quantitative research carried out at the Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering Vocational School in the city of Gorontalo. The population in this study was 72 students. The type of questionnaire in this research is a closed questionnaire and the results are analyzed using simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research are: (1) Practical facilities and infrastructure have a significant impact on student learning outcomes at the Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering Vocational School by 31.8%. (2) Learning Motivation has a significant effect on the Learning Outcomes of Automotive Light Vehicle Vocational School students by 41.2%. (3) Practical Infrastructure and Learning Motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on the Learning Outcomes of Automotive Light Vehicle Vocational School students by 50.6%.
