Abstrak Krisis lingkungan dan iklim global menuntut pendidikan untuk turut serta dalam solusi melalui pendekatan Greening Education, sebagaimana diinisiasi oleh UNESCO. SMK Negeri 1 Puring yang memiliki visi ramah lingkungan menjadi mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bertajuk Greening Education 101, yang bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi civitas akademika dalam aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap, dan nilai konservasi lingkungan. Kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan manajerial POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) yang diterapkan pada seluruh tahapan pelaksanaan. Metode pelatihan terdiri atas ceramah, tanya jawab, demonstrasi, praktik mandiri, dan pendampingan. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pretest-posttest. Pelatihan diikuti oleh 24 peserta pada tanggal 11 Juni 2025 dan menghasilkan peningkatan signifikan pada seluruh aspek. Pengetahuan meningkat dari 38% menjadi 88%; keterampilan dari 25% ke 56%; sikap dari 88% ke 100%; dan nilai konservasi dari 44% ke 81%. Hal ini menunjukkan efektivitas pelatihan dalam menginternalisasi prinsip greening education. Namun, pelaksanaan hanya satu hari menjadi kendala dalam pendalaman materi dan pengukuran outcome jangka panjang. Partisipasi peserta juga bervariasi, dengan dominasi komunikasi satu arah. Pelatihan Greening Education 101 efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi peserta di bidang pendidikan berkelanjutan. Diperlukan pelatihan lanjutan berdurasi lebih panjang dan pendekatan komunikasi dua arah untuk mendukung transformasi lingkungan sekolah secara menyeluruh. Abstract The global environmental and climate crisis demands that education participate in solutions through the Greening Education approach, as initiated by UNESCO. SMK Negeri 1 Puring, with its environmentally friendly vision, became a partner in a community service activity entitled Greening Education 101, which aims to improve the competence of the academic community in the aspects of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values of environmental conservation. The activity uses the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) managerial approach, which is applied at all stages of implementation. The training includes lectures, questions and answers, demonstrations, independent practice, and mentoring. Evaluation was carried out quantitatively and qualitatively through pretests and posttests. Twenty-four participants attended the training and significantly improved all aspects. Knowledge increased from 38% to 88%; skills from 25% to 56%; attitudes from 88% to 100%; and conservation values from 44% to 81%. This demonstrates the effectiveness of the training in internalizing the principles of greening education. However, the one-day implementation hampered in-depth understanding of the material and the measurement of long-term outcomes. Participant participation also varied, with one-way communication predominating. The Greening Education 101 training effectively improved participants' competencies in sustainable education. Further, longer training and a two-way communication approach are needed to support comprehensive school environmental transformation.
