Abstract

This study aims to examine student learning outcomes in applying the Inquiry Learning model to Islamic Religious Education Class VIII subjects at East Tanjung Jabung 9 Junior High School. This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach method. The low student learning outcomes for the lessons given by the teacher at school is an example that the completeness of learning outcomes has not reached the maximum point or has not been successful. This requires changes in teachers, especially in organizing classes, choosing appropriate teaching methods, teaching and learning strategies, as well as the attitudes and characteristics of teachers in managing the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The application of the Inquiry Learning model for Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education subjects at Tanjung Jabung Timur 9 Public Junior High School is effective in increasing student learning outcomes because it creates active interaction and participation not one way, students seek, find, ask questions, conclude. the learning activities use systematic steps of the Inquiry Learning method, namely a) Formulating problems, b) Submitting hypotheses, c) Collecting data, d) Testing hypotheses based on the data collected, f) Making conclusions.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the improvement of early childhood literacy skills by using exploratory strategies in early childhood at PAUD Ar-rahman Benteng, Sungai Batang District, Indragiri Ilir Regency, Jambi Province. Increasing early literacy skills referred to in this research is to explain children's abilities in using letters or reading and writing which are mastered before children learn how to read and write. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research because data regarding teacher strategies in introducing early childhood literacy requires a lot of qualitative data. Where the teacher is the implementer of learning while the researcher is the observer. This research is in the odd semester 2023/2024, namely in February. The subjects of this research were Ar-Rahman Benteng PAUD students, consisting of 23 students. The object of research is students' initial literacy abilities. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The data was analyzed using the mile and Huberman data analysis model, namely running or flowing (Flow model analysis). The analysis consisted of data collection, data reduction, data display, and verification/drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the increase in early childhood literacy at Ar Rahman Benteng Preschool is quite good, it can be seen that when in literacy learning activities with movement and songs, children are able to read and write letter symbols that match the songs, children are able to imitate writing letters modeled by the teacher and enthusiastic about literacy activities.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of parents in developing the intrapersonal intelligence of young children aged 5-6 years in Nyogan village, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province. Intrapersonal intelligence in this research is being able to understand himself well, including his strengths and weaknesses, easily accepting input and even criticism of himself, knowing what he wants and having ideals. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, meaning that the work steps to describe an object, phenomenon or social setting are contained in narrative writing . The subjects of this research were parents and children aged 5-6 years. The object of research is the intrapersonal intelligence of early childhood 5-6 years old. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data was analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are 1) parenting patterns in Nyogan village, Muaro Jambi Regency are in various ways ranging from authoritarian, democratic and permissive patterns 2). Intrapersonal Intelligence of Early Childhood in Nyogan Village, Muaro Jambi Regency It is an intelligence that is not permanent so that its development is not as easy as intellectual intelligence, because intrapersonal intelligence is an intelligence that changes, sometimes experiencing increases but not infrequently also experiencing decreases. 3) the role of parents in developing the intrapersonal intelligence of young children aged 5-6 years in Nyogan Village, Muaro Jambi district is by spending time with children, opening their eyes, hearts and ears to children, will make children trust their parents and make parents their only ones. the only place where children pour everything out.
