Abstract

 Background: “BCD” habits can help homosexual people and men who have sexwith men (MSM) prevent the transmission of sexually transmitted infections (STIs)and safeguard their partners. Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate how BCD behaviour affects the prevalence of STIs among Indonesian MSM.Methods: a cross-sectional study was conducted in 24 provinces in Indonesia fromApril to May 2023. The study population comprised MSM who had ever engaged insexual intercourse, either occasionally, once, or frequently, totaling 6,000 individuals. A sample of 3,515 participants was selected using the Respondent Driven Sampling (RDS) method. Integrated Biological and Behavior Survey (STBP) 2018-2019data was utilized. The data was analyzed using multivariate analyses with STATA14 software. Results: after controlling for the variables of pieces of information exposure and vaginal intercourse, the following behaviors were found to have a significant influence of the occurrence of STIs among MSM (p-value:0.050; AOR:1,62with 95% CI:0.96-2.73), condom use (p-value:0.050; AOR:0.37 with 95% CI:0.14-1.00), no drug use (p-value:0.040; AOR:1,67 with 95% CI:1.02-2.75). Conclusion:promoting faithful behavior towards a steady partner, consistent condom use duringsexual activity, and refraining from injections and drug use can effectively reducethe transmission of STIs among MSM.

Abstract

Innovation in providing interesting teaching materials for students is deemed necessary, to maintain the quality of learning and also foster student activity in reading and understanding lecture material so that the learning process runs well and provides good final results for these students. The aim of this research is to develop e-comic teaching materials for learning management courses. The method used in this research is the research and development method and the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The results of this research show that the development of e-comic teaching material products received very feasible criteria from the assessment results of 3 validators and the responses of 23 students. According to material experts, the average percentage is 86.67%; according to media experts, it is very feasible with a percentage of 93.33%; according to linguists it was 93.33% and the results of the student questionnaire percentage were 92.00%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the e-comic teaching material product developed is suitable for use as teaching material.

Abstract

Abstract: here has been no evaluation related to the level of public satisfaction with the construction of roads in the Bhayangkara Permai (Polda) Buper Waena housing complex RT 005 RW 001, Waena Village, Heram District, Jayapura City. This study aims to determine the level of public satisfaction with the construction of roads in the Bhayangkara Permai (Polda) Buper Waena housing complex, Waena Village, Heram District, Jayapura City. Data collection using saturated sampling techniques to 20 respondents who live in the Bhayangkara Permai (Polda) Buper Waena housing complex RT 005 RW 001, Waena Village, Heram District, Jayapura City. The research variables were compiled using the Kanzei method which was adjusted to the Public Satisfaction Index (IKM) variable of the Kepmen PAN Number 25 of 2004. The measurement results obtained the overall service element was very satisfied with an average of 3,575. Based on the results obtained, "Friendliness of officers involved in road construction" obtained the lowest average satisfaction value (ranking 1) with an average value of service elements of 3.45 on a scale of 1 to 4. While "Responsibility of officers in carrying out road construction" has the highest average satisfaction value (ranking 10). In order for public satisfaction to increase further, the government should carry out regular maintenance on the roads that have been built. In addition, continue the construction of roads in each alley and drainage in the Bhayangkara Permai (Polda) housing complex, Buper Waena, Waena Village, Heram District, Jayapura City.Keywords: Kanzei, Buper Waena, road construction

Abstract

Keterampilan proses sains (KPS) dan sikap ilmiah berperan penting ada penguasaan sains karena siswa akan lebih mendalami konsep materi menggunakan benda-benda langsung dan mengerjakan kegiatan secara langsung. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan tujuan ingin mengetahui bagaimana hubungan KPS dan sikap ilmiah serta peningkatannya menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Jenis penelitian digunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan melaksanakan penelitian secara kuantitatif dengan menganalisis KPS dan sika ilmiah. Instrument penelitian menggunakan tes KPS dan sikap ilmiah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di sekolah Mts Muhammadiah Jayapura. Populasi penelitian seluruh kelas VIII. Dengan teknik cluster random sampling diperoleh sampel sejumlah 26. Pembelajaran menggunakan inkuiri terbimbing terbukti dapat meningkatkan KPS dan sikap ilmiah serta memiliki hubungan yang signifikan antara keduanya. Hasil analisis peningkatan KPS dan sikap ilmiah menunjukkan berada pada kategori sedang dengan katalain mengalami peningkatan. Penelitian ini sangat bermanfaat baik bagi pendidik maupun calon peneliti selanjutnya untuk mendapatkan hasil belajar serta menumbuhkan suasana belajar yang kondusif.

Abstract

This service activity is carried out for elementary school teachers spread across the district/city of Jayapura regarding basic literacy learning, specifically print awareness and alphabet knowledge so that they can deal with children's education problems from an early age when they are not yet in school or not yet literate. alphabet. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide reinforcement about applying basic literacy knowledge to teachers who are spread across several schools in both the city and Jayapura district. The implementation of socialization activities is carried out for one day and uses lecture and discussion methods as well as delivery of material/information, as well as providing exercises related to basic literacy learning in the development of elementary school children's lives, especially in terms of awareness of print awareness and introduction to how to teach the alphabet through the four stages of listening, say, read, and write. The number of participants involved was 24 people from the target of 30 participants. The results of the implementation of the socialization program in strengthening basic literacy went well and all participants were able to understand the importance of print awareness and teaching alphabet knowledge as well as ways and techniques for teaching it correctly.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun database jemaat HKBP Rogate Ressort Papua yang dipimpin oleh Pdt. Wilson Panangian Saragih, S.Th., secara sistematis, sehingga seluruh data kepala keluarga jemaat dapat terdokumentasi dengan baik. Database yang dihasilkan mencatat sebanyak 105 kepala keluarga yang terdaftar. Proses penyusunan dilakukan oleh panitia transformasi yang diketuai oleh Dr. Halomoan Hutajulu, S.E., M.Si., dengan pelaporan akhir ke situs database pusat HKBP di huria.databasehkbp.org. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pelayanan dan tata kelola administrasi gereja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas program edukasi mindfulness dalam meningkatkan kesehatan mental peserta didik sekolah dasar di SD Skouw Yambe dan SD Skouw Mabo. Program mindfulness dipandang sebagai pendekatan preventif dan promotif untuk membantu anak-anak mengelola emosi, menurunkan stres, serta meningkatkan fokus dan kesadaran diri. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-experimental dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest, melibatkan 19 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen di SD Skouw Yambe dan 24 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol di SD Skouw Mabo. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi tes, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data melalui uji normalitas, N-Gain, dan Independent Sample t-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa di SD Skouw Yambe yang mengikuti program mengalami peningkatan kesehatan mental secara signifikan, dengan sebagian besar berada pada kategori peningkatan sedang hingga tinggi. Sebaliknya, siswa di SD Skouw Mabo yang tidak menerima intervensi menunjukkan peningkatan yang relatif rendah. Temuan ini diperkuat oleh hasil uji statistik yang menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa program edukasi mindfulness efektif dan layak diterapkan dalam konteks pendidikan dasar, khususnya untuk mendukung kesehatan mental siswa di wilayah dengan tantangan sosial dan geografis seperti di SD Skouw Yambe
