Abstract

Pemakaian daya reaktif di perindustrian sangatlah tinggi sehingga menyebabkan faktor daya menurun. Rendahnya faktor daya mengakibatkan rugi-rugi daya pada pemakaian energi listrik di Industri. Rugi daya ini disebabkan oleh peralatan-peralatan listrik di Industri yang menggunakan daya reaktif induktif (XL), sehingga daya listrik akan tertekan dan daya kerja menurun serta arus pemakaian menjadi meningkat dalam melakukan usaha. Pemakaian daya reaktif yang tinggi mengakibatkan faktor daya menjadi rendah, efek dari faktor daya yang rendah, daya kerja akan menurun. Pada penelitian ini jaringan listrik dengan daya yang tersedia S = 1745 KVA, memiliki faktor daya Cosφ = 0.726, daya yang dapat disuplai dengan faktor daya tersebut adalah = 1274 KW, persentase daya yang disuplay sebesar 73%. Setelah diberi kapasitor bank sebesar 1200 KVAR, faktor daya naik menjadi 0.99, besar daya yang dapat disuplai dengan faktor daya tersebut adalah 1600 KW. Kenaikan daya yang dapat dibangkitkan setelah faktor daya ditinggikan menjadi Cosφ =0.99 adalah sebesar 333 KW dan % kenaikan daya dari 1274 KW menjadi 1600 KW sebesar 21%. Jadi  Dengan aplikasi kapasitor bank faktor daya dapat dinaikan dan daya yang disuplai akan semakin tinggi dan kualitas daya menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan, faktor pendukung, dan faktor penghambat model cooperative learning dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi teks cerita fantasi di kelas VII A SMP Negeri 8 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model cooperative learning berhasil diterapkan secara efektif dan berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap unsur intrinsik teks cerita fantasi, seperti tema, tokoh, alur, dan amanat. Siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kolaborasi, serta partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan diskusi dan presentasi. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan meliputi profesionalisme guru, ketersediaan sarana prasarana, dan antusiasme siswa. Adapun faktor penghambat berupa perbedaan kecepatan pemahaman siswa dapat diatasi melalui bimbingan individual dan kerja sama antarteman. Penelitian ini memperkuat pemahaman teoretis tentang efektivitas model pembelajaran kolaboratif serta memberikan implikasi praktis bagi guru dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang partisipatif, kontekstual, dan bermakna.

Abstract

Penlitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Return On asset (ROA),Return On Equity (ROE), dan Net Interest Margin (NIM) terhadap hargasaham pada perusahaan PT. Bank Central asia, Tbk. periode 2012-2021pertriwulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknikanalisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu analisis regresi linierberganda dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji statistik menguji secaraparsial masing masing variabel, serta uji F untuk variabel independensecara simultan terhadap variabel independent. Data diolah menggunakanprogram SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ROA nilaisignifikansinya sebesar 0,043 < 0,05 maka secara parsial berpengaruhsignifikan terhadap harga saham, sedangkan ROE nilai signifiikansinya0,843 >0,05 maka seacra parsial tidak ada pengaruh terhadap harga sahamdan NIM nilai signifikansinya sebesar 0,743 > 0,05 maka secara parsialtidak ada pengaruh terhadap harga saham. Secara simultan ROA, ROE,NIM, berpengaruh terhadap harga saham.Kata Kunci :ROA; ROE; NIM; Harga Saham.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the influence of Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Earning per Share (EPS) on Share Prices (HS) and the role of EPS in organizations or companies in the construction and housing sectors. /property and real estate. The decision to select this study was based on the importance of this sector as an indicator of the country's economic health. Data was obtained from the annual financial reports of these organizations registered on the IDX from 2019 - 2021, using a purposive sampling technique. Quantitative method with a descriptive approach and path analysis to analyze data using SPSS software. The research results show that these three factors have a partial effect on share prices, with earnings per share (EPS) proven to be able to mediate the effect of return on assets (ROA) on share prices (HS). However, earnings per share (EPS) was not able to mediate the effect of return on equity (ROE) and net profit margin (NPM) on share prices (HS). These results indicate that investors in the property and real estate sector consider profitability and operational efficiency as indicators of company performance that have the potential to influence share prices. This research has several limitations, such as company coverage, the adjusted r-square value which influences share prices by 35.4%, and has not considered other factors that can mediate return on equity (ROE) and net profit margin (NPM) on share prices.

Abstract

Blood collection, or phlebotomy, is the process of obtaining a blood sample from circulation through a puncture or incision. The medical personnel who perform this procedure are called phlebotomists. Typically, blood is drawn from the median cubital vein in the front of the arm (inside the elbow). If this vein is not accessible, the cephalic or basilic veins can be alternatives, and if these are also unsuitable, blood can be drawn from a vein in the wrist area. It is important to consider blood volume, especially in patients with anemia, newborns, or patients with small veins, to avoid insufficient blood collection. Adequate skills are required to obtain a qualified blood sample. The aim of this community service is to provide education and training to students on the proper methods for venous and capillary blood collection in accordance with standard procedures, and to minimize phlebotomy complications. The service methods include pre-tests, post-tests, material presentation, and phlebotomy practice. Out of 44 participants, after education, 88.6% understood phlebotomy, 86.3% understood ancient phlebotomy techniques, 100% understood modern techniques, 91% understood the types of veins and the first choice, 75% understood the order of venipuncture, 100% understood modern phlebotomy equipment, and 79.5% understood the use of tourniquets. In conclusion, participants' knowledge increased after phlebotomy training and education.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan energi listrik yang terus meningkat di Indonesia menuntut adanya solusi inovatif yang ramah lingkungan, salah satunya adalah dengan memanfaatkan energi surya. Kegiatan pengabdian Thematic Community Service Collaboration (TCSC) bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan penggunaan panel surya sebagai pembangkit listrik tenaga surya di Sekolah SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Medan dengan fokus kepada perancangan PLTS sederhana  sebagai pelatihan penerapan teknologi tepat guna dengan skala pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam Pengabdian ini yaitu metode ceramah dilanjutkan dengan metode diskusi dan tanya jawab dilanjutkan dengan metode demonstrasi alat beserta cara kerjanya dan metode interaksi langsung yaitu siswa dan guru dapat mencoba atau mempraktikkan secara langsung. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini memiliki tahapan kerja, dimulai tahap melakukan survei sampai tahap evalusi agar kegiatan Pengabdian sesuai target, yaitu menambah pengetahuan, ketrampilan dan kreatifitas guru dan siswa terhadap perkembangan teknologi berupa penerapan panel surya sebagai pembangkit listrik tenaga surya dalam mendukung program hemat energi.

Abstract

Solar panels are an important utilization in generating renewable energy, but high temperatures can reduce energy conversion efficiency and shorten the lifetime of solar panels. This research aims to explore and evaluate the utilization of a combination of heatsink material and cooling water block as a solution to reduce the heat generated by solar panels. The research method includes the design and manufacture of a prototype consisting of solar panels mounted on a combination of heatsink material and water block. Experiments were conducted by varying the use of passive cooling and the absence of cooling on solar panels according to environmental conditions to evaluate the effectiveness of the system in reducing the temperature of solar panels. A power increase of 43.3% was achieved by comparing the system without cooling design with the passive cooling design system. The results showed that the use of a combination of heatsink material and cooling water block significantly reduced the solar panel temperature under various operational conditions. In addition, data analysis showed an increase in the energy conversion efficiency of the solar panel after the implementation of the cooling system. This research makes an important contribution to the development of more efficient and durable solar panel technology by addressing the problem of heat generation.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and implement a time-based lighting control and monitoring system using the Internet of Things (IoT). In today's digitally connected environment, efficient lighting control is essential to improve user comfort and optimize energy use. The proposed approach leverages light sensors and IoT hardware to automatically adjust lighting levels based on time and user needs. The system is designed to provide users with the ability to control lighting remotely via a mobile application or web interface. In addition, the collected lighting data can be analyzed to understand lighting usage patterns and improve energy efficiency. The research methodology includes system design, hardware and software development, and implementation trials in a real environment. Testing was carried out by varying lighting scenarios and monitoring the system's response to these changes. The results showed that the system was able to optimize room lighting according to user preferences and environmental conditions efficiently. In addition, the remote monitoring and control capabilities provide greater flexibility for users to adjust lighting according to their needs. This study contributes to the field of time-based lighting control by utilizing the advantages of IoT as remote control and monitoring.

Abstract

Efficient energy manitoring and overload protection on distribution transformers are very much needed. This study aims to develop a power usage management system and overload protection integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) technology, with a specific target to monitor and manage power usage on distribution transformers in real time, as well as provide automatic protection against overload conditions. The methodology used in this study involves the design and implementation of hardware and software that supports wireless communication and data analysis. This system is also equipped with a power reading and protection mechanism that can automatically cut off the electricity flow when an overload detection occurs, in order to prevent damage to the transformer, it is expected that this system can increase the efficiency of power usage management and provide a quick response to overload conditions. The implementation of this system is expected to reduce operational costs and increase the reliability of electricity supply on the distribution network. Based on the tests that have been carried out, it has been proven that the system has worked well in maintaining important variables in the power usage management system and overload protection on the Internet of Things integrated distribution transformer.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menggambarkan apakah Simulation Teknik memberikan efek yang signikan tehadap penguasaan vocabulary mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen yang dilaksanakan pada mahasiswa semester 1, Program Akuntansi tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes lisan dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan t-test. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan vocabulary mastery yang signifikan antara pre-test dan post-test yang diberikan pada kelas eskperimen dengan menggunakan teknik simulasi, (2) terdapat perbedaan vocabulary mastery yang signikfikan antara pre-test dan post-test yang diberikan pada kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan teknik small group discussion, (3) tidak terdapat perbedaan vocabulary mastery yang signifikan antara post-test kelas eksperimen dengan post- test kelas control.
