Abstract

The use of learning media is important in the learning process because it helps students understand the subject matter and stimulates students' attention and enthusiasm for learning. This research aims to describe the design and development of character education-based learning media in grade IV elementary school science subjects which have been tested for validity. This development research uses the ADDIE model, but is limited to the development stage due to limited time, situation and resources. The trial subjects included content experts, media experts, 2 design experts, 2 practitioners, and 18 grade IV students who participated in individual and small group trials. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire in the form of a four scale instrument given to test subjects. Research data was analyzed using an average to determine the validity score of the media being developed. The results of the validity of learning media from the assessment of content experts, media experts, design experts and practitioners obtained very good qualifications. Individual and small group trials also demonstrated excellent qualifications. Based on this analysis, character education-based learning media in grade IV elementary school science subjects was declared valid and suitable for use in learning. This learning media is also a valuable resource and encourages teacher professionalism in teaching character values along with science material.

Abstract

Character education in elementary school is an important aspect in forming morale and students' ethics at their stage of development. This study aims to explore the understanding and experiences of pre-service professional teachers in integrating character education with social studies instruction in elementary schools. Employing a mixed-method approach, data were collected through structured questionnaires and in-depth interviews with 124 student teachers enrolled in the teacher education program. The findings indicate that pre-service teachers possess a solid understanding of character education concepts and the importance of their integration into social studies instruction. The researcher implements various strategies such as thematic approaches, project-based learning, and group discussions to instill moral values. However, challenges include time constraints, lack of resources, and insufficient specialized training. The necessary support includes continuous training, access to adequate resources, and mentoring from experienced educators. The study concludes that although pre-service teachers have a strong theoretical understanding, a holistic approach involving training support, resources, and policies is required to enhance the effectiveness of character education integration in social studies instruction. Recommendations for future research include expanding the sample size and employing longitudinal methods for more in-depth and sustained observations.

Abstract

Pada pembelajaran daring peserta didik lama kelamaan merasa bosan dan tertekan dengan tugas-tugas yang diberikan oleh guru. Guna mengatasi kebosanan siswa ini, diperlukan pemilihan metode mengajar yang tepat salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang menarik minat siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keefektifan media pembelajaran permainan Ludo, serta mengetahui respon peserta didik setelah menggunakan media permainan Ludo pada kelas III SD. Model yang menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan ini adalah model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek uji coba produk adalah media pembelajaran bebasis permainan ludo pada topik manfaat tumbuhan bagi kehidupan manusia adalah kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Uji coba produk penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan dengan me-review media Ludo kepada ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli praktisi untuk mengetahui kelayakan media yang dikembangkan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode kuesioner/angket. Jenis data yang diperoleh dari penelitian pengembangan ini dikelompokkan menjadi dua, yaitu data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif (kualitatif dan kuantitatif). Dilihat secara keseluruhan media pembelajaran berbasis permainan ludo dinyatakan valid dengan kualifikasi sangat baik.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia dan kurangnya kemampuan menyimak siswa merupakan masalah dari penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Paired Story Telling terhadap Hasil Belajar Bahasa Indonesia Siswa Kelas V SD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan rancangan non-equivalent Post-test Only Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas Kelas V SD berjumlah 132 siswa dari lima Sekolah.Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan media tes dengan instrumen tes hasil belajar berbentuk pilihan ganda berjumlah 40 soal. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dengan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe paired story telling terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V SD. Selain itu, kelompok siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe paired story telling berbantuan memiliki rata-rata skor hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia lebih tinggi dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini menunjukkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe paired story telling berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V SD. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe paired story telling, dapat membantu siswa dalam belajar sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai.

Abstract

Literasi sains merupakan kemampuan dalam menerapkan kemampuan yang dimilikinya untuk mengidentifikasi memberi penjelasan mengonstruksi dan mengambil kesimpulan berdasarkan pengamatan dan bukti ilmiah yang diperoleh dalam memecahkan masalah yang berkaitan dengan sains. Rendahnya minat siswa dalam membaca dan siswa tidak siap dalam belajar juga memengaruhi kemampuan kognitif siswa. Aktivitas pembelajaran yang berlangsung masih kurang inovatif, kurang bervariasi, dan masih belum menekankan literasi sains dan kemampuan metakognitif. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan aktivitas pembelajaran berbantuan media untuk meningkatkan literasi sains dan kemampuan metakognitif pada materi macam-macam gaya muatan IPA kelas IV SD. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan dengan model 4D. Subjek uji coba yaitu 4 orang ahli aktivitas pembelajaran. Uji coba prdouk dilakukan oleh siswa yang berjumlah 17. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan tes. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu rating scale. Teknik analisis data yaitu deskriptif kualitatif, kuantitatif, dan statistic inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa seluruh butir dalam instrumen validasi isi aktivitas pembelajaran valid.  Hasil literasi sains dan kemampuan metakognitif dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Terdapat efektivitas pengembangan aktivitas pembelajaran berbantuan media linktree terhadap literasi sains dan kemampuan metakognitif. Disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas pembelajaran berbantuan media linktree berdampak positif terhadap pembelajaran.

Abstract

Siswa yang kurang tertarik dalam pembelajaran IPS dan juga guru kesulitan dalam mengajarkan materi IPS karena kekurangan waktu dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran. Hal ini berdampak pada kemampuan siswa yang kurang. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan aktivitas pembelajaran berbantuan media pembelajaran literasi terhadap interaksi sosial dan kemampuan metakognitif pada materi Keanekaragaman suku bangsa dan budaya muatan IPS kelas IV SD. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian pengembangan model 4-D. Subjek penelitian yaitu 4 orang ahli aktivitas pembelajaran. Subjek uji coba yaitu siswa yang berjumlah 30. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu wawancara, studi dokumentasi, rating scale dan tes. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu kuesioner. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif, kuantitatif, dan statistic inferensial. Hasil penelitian yaitu rata-rata skor validasi isi aktivitas pembelajaran secara keseluruhan adalah 4,,48. sehingga valid dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Berdasarkan uji hasil hipotesis yaitu terdapat pengaruh efektivitas pengembangan aktivitas pembelajaran berbantuan media pembelajaran literacy tree terhadap literasi sosial dan kemampuan metakognitif. Disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas pembelajaran berbantuan media pembelajaran literacy tree efektif meningkatkan literasi sosial dan kemampuan metakognitif siswa.

Abstract

Currently, the quality of the character is decreasing. In addition, many students still need help understanding learning material. This study aims to develop a media-oriented picture card to strengthen character education on learning outcomes in Balinese for third-grade elementary school students. This research is a type of development research with the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were 2 content experts, 2 learning designs, 2 learning media, and 2 teachers. The product trial subjects were 3 students for individual trials and 9 for small group trials. Data collection methods include document studies, rating scales, and written tests. The data collection instruments are document studies, rating scale sheets, and test questions. The data analysis techniques are descriptive qualitative analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis, and inferential statistical analysis. The study results, namely the assessment by subject content experts, are 0.94 (very high). The assessment results from learning design experts were 0.86 (very high). The results of the assessment of learning media experts are 0.94 (very high). The results of the practicality assessment given by the teacher and students obtained very good qualifications. The results of the effectiveness test show that there is a significant difference before and after using picture card media. It was concluded that picture card media was effectively used in learning Balinese.

Abstract

Students' low learning outcomes and enthusiasm in learning science are due to the content or material provided needing to be more interesting. Educators need to utilize technology, one of which is by using interesting learning media. This research aims to create VideoScribe learning media on material changing the shape of objects. This development research adapts the ADDIE development model. The data collection methods are interviews, observation, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. This research resulted in the validation of VideoScribe learning media on material changing the shape of objects, which was declared feasible from the validation results of learning material experts with a percentage (96.00%) with very good criteria. The validation results of learning media experts obtained a percentage (94.5%) with very good criteria. Both state that VideoScribe learning media is very suitable for use. The level of practicality of VideoScribe learning media from the results of teacher responses obtained a percentage (95.3%), and the results of student responses obtained a percentage (95.41%) with very practical criteria. Moreover, the level of effectiveness of VideoScribe learning media obtained an average pretest score (69.68) and an average post-test score (78.06). It was concluded that the VideoScribe learning media effectively improved student learning outcomes in the material on changes in the shape of objects for class V students.

Abstract

The value of the Indonesian test still needs to be revised. Many also found that elementary school students still could not read and were not fluent in reading. This study aims to develop learning videos to improve early reading skills in Indonesian language learning in first-grade elementary school. This type of research is the development of the ADDIE model. The research subjects were two material experts, two design experts, and two media experts. The test subjects were two practitioners and 35 students. Methods of data collection by interview, observation, and questionnaires. Rating scale research instrument. The technique of analyzing the data is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the study are the results of expert assessment of material validity 91% (very good), media experts 89% (good), and design experts 90.5% (very good). The practitioner's response test results were 97% (very good), and the student's response was 95.6% (very good). It was concluded that the video got very good validity and deserved to be used. The research implication is that this video can be used to help students learn to read.

Abstract

The assessment process carried out by teachers at this time is still not by the demands of 21st-century education. Some teachers use assessment instruments available on the internet without using the HOTS instrument. This study aimed to create a higher-order thinking skill (HOTS) assessment instrument for grade VI elementary school students. In this study, the development of the assessment instrument was guided by the Borg & Gall development model. In this study, the method used to collect data is the test method. The results of the content validity test tested by four expert lecturers of the HOTS assessment instrument were declared relevant, the item validity test conducted in 4 schools was declared valid, and the results of the reliability test of the HOTS assessment instrument were 0.82, which was in the very high category, the average test results The difference power of the questions is 0.43 which is in the excellent category, the average test results for the level of difficulty of the questions are 0.502 which are in the medium category. Based on this analysis, it can be said that the higher-order thinking skill (HOTS) assessment instrument in learning Theme 8 (Bumiku) in grade VI elementary school is feasible to use.
